Chapter 334: *Discharge of energy*

He concentrated on them and began to absorb them, but suddenly he felt someone shaking him.

When his senses returned to normal, he saw that Colin was waving a bottle in front of his eyes and said to him, "This is the remedy of your friend against mental fatigue. Mykael had given me a few on Monday morning. Take one before you start; you’ll need it. And just take out as many golden particles as you can. I’ll heal his wound with the light particles right after."

Alan saw that they were no longer in the world of the Titans and that they had returned to the arena where the duels had taken place. Ian was standing in the middle of it with the head of the Titan he had faced in his hand. When their eyes met, he saw the distress in his eyes, and he hurriedly drank the remedy that Colin was still handing him while he concentrated again to absorb as many golden particles as possible.

He knew that Kevin wouldn’t let anything happen to Erik and that their Dual Cultivation bond was stronger than ever, probably because Erik was using his Stage 2 right now. So he knew he was okay, and it was his mission to keep their friends alive because if Liam died, Ian would die too, and there was no way that would happen.

Since the time he had almost died and touched their Dual Cultivation bond, it was as if Erik and he had moved on to another stage.

They both could now see this bond, and if one of them touched it, they could see through the eyes of the other.

It was really fascinating, but before he could check how it was in the world of the Titans, he plunged into another intense concentration.

Once he saw the first golden particles, he began to absorb them again, and just like each time he had tried to absorb them, the golden particles directed themselves to his Dual Cultivation bond.

As he had already experienced doing this, he knew that this wasn’t harmful to either him or Erik. So he continued to absorb golden particles and Colin as promised was healing Liam’s injury.

But contrary to what Alan thought, absorbing all these golden particles had a significant effect on Erik.

........

Back in the world of the Titans, Erik was teaming up with Kevin because, after all, both of them had trained together to be able to participate in the duo fights tournament, and they understood each other without needing to communicate.

But suddenly, Erik felt a discharge of energy coming at him, and as he didn’t know what to do with it, he tried to concentrate his chakra on his axes, which then exploded because the ore they were crafted with wasn’t made to support such a discharge of energy.

Kevin, who was close to him, asked him then, "What happened? What was that energy?"

Erik, who had assimilated all the lessons Kevin had given him, effortlessly managed to disarm and seize his opponent’s weapon.

He said to him when they found themselves back to back, surrounded from all sides by Titans, "I have no idea, but it’s coming from my bond with Alan. He’s sending me a powerful energy in a large quantity, but I don’t know what it is, and I can’t control it."

Kevin smirked then and said to him, "What destroyed your axes was a concentrate of golden particles, so you can’t send them in an ordinary weapon or they will all end up the same way."

Erik then asked him quickly before the Titans decided to attack them again, "What do I do then?" 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞

Kevin immediately said to him, "Concentrate them in your hand, and I should be able to use them. We’ll find a way for you to use them later."

Erik wasted no time, and he concentrated all the golden particles that Alan was sending to him into his free hand. As golden flames began to form just above his palm, Kevin immediately grabbed those golden particles and changed their shape into a long whip, using it immediately against the Titans that were surrounding them.

Those who were hit by this whip, which was a concentrate of golden particles, found themselves with golden flames on their bodies and died not long after because it was impossible to get rid of them.

The Titans, seeing the effectiveness of this golden whip, moved away from them, not wanting to end up like their comrades.

Kevin smirked, satisfied with the formidable weapon he had just created, and Erik then said to him, "I think it’s over. Alan doesn’t seem to be sending me these golden particles anymore... Do you think they were the ones that hurt Liam?"

Kevin, who was eager to use his new weapon again, then said to him, "It’s quite likely. I don’t know how he managed to send them to you, but it’s probably because of your Dual Cultivation bond."

Erik then asked him, "What do we do now?"

Kevin conjured up two legendary axes that he had set aside for Erik but hadn’t had time to give him yet, and he said to him, "We’re going to make them sorry that they messed with our friends."

He added then, worried, "Stay with me; we still don’t know how long you can use your Stage 2. When you feel yourself weakening, tell me immediately. We’ll ask Mykael to take you to safety."

Erik nodded; he was already more than proud to be able to participate in this battle, and he had no intention of being a burden to Kevin. So as soon as he could no longer use his Stage 2, he would take cover because by then, he would be no match for those Titans.

And while the battle was raging, and although Miguel would have liked to finish off this Goddess once and for all, he chose to let Elias and Mykael deal with her and her husband, and he went to support their men who needed reinforcements. He also took care of those who were wounded and needed urgent care.

The fact that this young Drakonit was captured and brought here gave them the opportunity they needed to carry out their plan.

Because after discussing it with their men, they had come to the conclusion that they could not fight on several fronts because they were too few in number, and if they had to divide and fight on different worlds, not only would their losses be higher, but the populations of the worlds involved would also suffer heavy losses.
