Galaxy Fall: All My Skills Are Maxed-Chapter 200: The Depths Of The Abyssal
[Abyssal - Demon Emperor’s throne Hall.]
Far beneath the sunlit surface of the continent, where the corrupted energy of the Southern Region pooled into a thick, toxic miasma, lay the Abyssal. The Throne Hall was a monstrous cavern carved from living obsidian and the fossilized bones of ancient leviathans. Here, the air was so dense with dark energy it felt like breathing crushed glass.
"My King! The humans have transpassed into our territories, I said we wipe them out!" The Demon Emperor remaining 20 elite guards, the second guard, Succubus Queen, her long black hair cascaded down like a flowing waterfall, said. Five more guards stood knelt behind her, their heads bowed.
The Succubus Queen’s voice echoed through the vast, dark chamber, her demonic wings twitching with barely contained bloodlust. She was a creature born of nightmares, yet she trembled slightly in the presence of the towering figure on the throne before her.
"Hmm... Because I am sealed down here, those Humans are getting more arrogant, even using my ground as a competition ground." The demon emperor, his body covered in demonic spirit energy, moving his head on the group, staring at their hesitant faces: his glowing, blood-red eyes piercing through the gloom. Despite the divine chains searing his flesh, the sheer density of his aura was suffocating, a testament to a being who once threatened to consume the entire human realm.
He noticed the nervous twitching of his most trusted general. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
"What is it? Speak." He ordered, his voice vibrating like a localized earthquake.
The Succubus Queen swallowed hard, knowing the name she was about to speak carried a curse.
"My King, the criminal we’re after, that Spectral, she is among them."
"What!!!"
A wave of demonic energy burst out from the emperor, spreading all over the hall, making the six trembled violently. The obsidian pillars cracked under the sheer kinetic force of his rage. "Spectral"—The human who had slaughtered her way through the demon legions and severely crippled their advance. The mere mention of her presence was like throwing salt on an open, centuries-old wound.
"She actually still dared enter my region!! Where is the first Elite guard?!" He asked, staring at the succubus, his fangs bared in a snarl that promised absolute annihilation.
"He is in seclusion, getting ready to break through, entering Lv500." Succubus answered, as the second elite, she was the only one qualified to speak with the emperor, second to the first. Level 500 was the threshold of power; a breakthrough of that magnitude required absolute focus, lest the demonic core shatter from the influx of corrupted energy.
"Hmm... I shouldn’t disturb him then. This task will fall on you then." The demon emperor pointed one claw at the Succubus, the dark energy swirling around his fingertip like a miniature black hole:
"We have millions of lifeless soldiers, and hundreds of thousands of forces in the southern region, I don’t care how many you use, make sure to bring me Spectral’s head! Can you achieve that?!" He asked, demanding nothing short of the absolute mobilization of the Abyssal’s vanguard.
"Um..."
The hesitation was slight, but in the court of the Demon Emperor, hesitation was treason.
"You dare have different opinions?" The demon emperor asked, a massive amount of killing intent spreading out from him, instantly covering the whole Hall. The air temperature plummeted, frost forming on the skeletal walls as the pressure forced the kneeling guards completely flat against the stone floor.
"I won’t dare!!" Succubus placed her forehead on the ground, sweat rolling down her black skin, her survival instincts screaming at her to appease his wrath.
"My King!! The humans placed an Array formation around the competition ground, although it can’t cover one-tenth of the southern region, it did cover a huge amount of land... Not only that, the Array core is being guarded by 50 Lv500 Fighters, And I am sure some masters are also hiding, watching the participants and situations." She yelled, her head still bowed, frantically explaining the geopolitical and magical nightmare the humans had constructed. Fifty Level 500 fighters was an absurd concentration of human military might, a localized deterrence designed to obliterate any large-scale demon assault instantly.
The demon emperor stared at her for some seconds, and drew back his killing intent, the suffocating pressure finally lifting enough for the guards to draw breath. His strategic mind, honed over millennia of warfare, analyzed the human’s deployment.
"Hmm... All these preparations, it seems the Humans values these participants, and with the rule of their competition, they will make sure none of them cross one another in the Southern region. All the Lv500 Masters, they’re mainly there to keep the demons in place." He raised his head into the sky, staring at the cavern ceiling as if he could see the arrogant humans floating above, and burst out laughing:
"Hahahahah!!! These Humans are truly underestimating me!!! Not only did that Sun family risked everything to trap me here, they also restricted all my elite guards with their lives!! Now, they’re all wiped out, and we are trapped here forever!! No worries, once the third world activate, I will personally destroy these seal and make these humans bow at my feet!" He clenched his fist, the golden chains sparking violently as he tested their limits. The legendary Sun family had sacrificed their entire bloodline to forge this prison, a heroic stand that the world had etched into history. But seals weakened, and the impending alignment of the "third world" would shatter the cosmic balance entirely.
He was reveling in his dark prophecy when he suddenly stopped, lowering his gaze to the entrance, watching three people walking towards them.
’This?! I didn’t even sense these three, if they haven’t entered the hall, I won’t even know they’re in the palace.’ He thought in surprised, not everyone could escape his sensing range, but these guys... The Abyssal was his absolute domain. The very shadows were his eyes, the toxic air his nervous system. For entities to bypass his passive omnipotence was a terrifying anomaly.
"Who are you?!" He asked coldly.
The moment the six elite guards noticed the people, they drew out their weapons, and stood in front of the throne, staring at them in surprised. Their demonic auras flared, ready to defend their king, but their minds were reeling in absolute panic.
’What the?!! Even when they’re only some meters from me, I couldn’t sense them! They’re all Lv500, but still!’ The Succubus thought in disbelief. A Level 500 presence should burn like a sun in the dark, yet these three felt like empty voids in the fabric of reality.
"Greetings, Demon Emperor."
Devil Cult’s first Lord bowed her head, a smirked on her face. Her voice carried no fear, only the sharp, calculating edge of someone who viewed a sealed God not as a threat, but as a potential asset.
"You? I think I know you, but I can’t pinpoint it." The Emperor narrowed his eyes, sifting through centuries of memories, trying to match the dark, twisted energy signature to a face.
"I am, Dracula, the Owner and Leader of the Devil Cult." She said, her purple hair flowing in the wind, her red eyes fixed on the demon emperor. The legendary leader of the continent’s most feared faction, a woman who treated taboo magic as her personal plaything.
The demon emperor stared at her, then turned to the man standing on her right, he was in a black cloak, his face filled with nothing, like an endless void. He frowned lightly, his demonic instincts warning him of the unnatural, reality-bending nature of that faceless entity, and turned to the third, a beautiful young lady with long white hair, and red eyes, she was also in a black cloak, her arms hidden in it. Her aura was cold, dead, and utterly silent.
’These three, they are all Lv500, I didn’t know the humans have such people, who can even hide from my senses.’ He thought, and said aloud, his massive frame shifting forward against the glowing chains, demanding answers from the trespassers who had shattered the invulnerability of his sanctum:
"Why are you people here?! And how did you enter the Abyssal without my knowledge?!" He asked coldly, a suffocating amount of demonic energy spreading out from his body.
