Kevin then dispersed the storm he had created, and as the blade of Oliver’s sword was now also covered in black particles, he quickly asked Elias, "What happened to Axel... and what is this divine energy you speak of?"

Elias then quickly explained to him, "Axel has turned into a divine Werewolf, but that’s not all; he also possesses the bloodline of Mykael, who is a God. So now that he has become a divine creature, he should be able to use the divine energy, or at least part of it. The black and golden particles both come from this divine energy."

Kevin smirked, and he bowed his head slightly to thank his Master. The energy that Axel was sharing with him was still activated, so he stroked his mark of the Union and focused on the spiritual energy around him.

When he saw that Oliver was ready to attack him again, he used his Chains of Restraint to create a shield around him and covered it with particles of light to increase its effectiveness.

Once he was sure he was safe, he no longer cared about Oliver, and he focused on the spiritual energy again.

He tried to find an echo of Axel’s new energy, and his vision then changed. The particles of the elements that were in the spiritual energy decreased in intensity, and then he saw the first golden particles appear. He didn’t see any black particles for the moment, but it didn’t matter because it was the golden ones that interested him.

While Oliver was trying to break the shield that the Chains of Restraint had created around Kevin, which seemed to be totally impervious to his attacks, Kevin was concentrating golden particles in his two short swords made only of light particles.

Elias smiled and said to Axel, patting him on the shoulder, "Well done, kid. I guess it’s thanks to your mark of the Union that Kevin is able to draw golden particles from the divine energy."

Axel looked at him and said honestly, "I don’t know, sir. All I did was link my energy to Kevin’s using our mark of the Union; their levels were too close. I just wanted to make Kevin as powerful as possible so he could finish this fight quickly."

Elias smiled and said to him, "Just call me Elias. I consider Kevin like my son even though he doesn’t know it yet; with Miguel, we’re pretty busy right now, but I hope we’ll all get to spend more time together soon."

Axel then held out his hand, and when Elias shook it, he said to him, "It will be with great pleasure. I’m sure Kevin will be delighted; he talks about you often. You missed him a lot."

Elias smiled sadly upon hearing this; he could never forgive himself for being tricked by Cassandra and for having left Kevin unprotected.

He then refocused on the fight in the arena, which was, for the moment, stopped until Kevin decided to disperse the Chains of Restraint.

Right at that moment, he felt Caleb’s presence suddenly behind them, and he heard him say, "According to Kevin, there were only two other Titans hidden in ambush, and thanks to Mykael, we also captured 12 demons marked by Lilith and 4 humans marked by Cassandra."

Mykael then told him, "I haven’t spotted any more demons or humans since then, but there may still be some left elsewhere."

Elias nodded and told them, "You all did a good job." He then said to them, "This is a small world; Miguel will go with Tarik and Lanis to do the rest of the cleaning tonight. Don’t worry about it anymore."

Just as he finished his sentence, the Chains of Restraint, instead of dispersing, spread out, and they began to attack Oliver from all sides. Oliver was a little caught off guard by this sudden change in tactics, but fortunately for him, his shield made of black particles was very strong. It was the advantage of having absorbed all these black pills that Lilith had given him.

She had told him that she had chosen him because she needed humans and creatures who were deeply evil; only those who already had corrupted souls could absorb the black particles without any negative effects and thus enjoy all the power that these black particles could bring them.

Oliver, who had always loved torturing his victims, had only felt pure pleasure and euphoria when he had started to absorb these black particles.

Then, in addition to being an expert in the art of torture, he realized that he could also penetrate the minds of his victims, and the mental torture he could then inflict on them was even more delectable.

The other Knights of Darkness were all frighteningly powerful and undoubtedly monsters without any humanity.

Lilith had given him the mission to eliminate this Warrior Spirit, the King of Shadow, and finally, the opportunity to kill him had presented itself sooner than expected.

While the other Knights of Darkness had retrieved Lilith, who had been wounded directly in her meridians, and had taken her to a place that even he didn’t know about so that she could recover, their leader, who was also the very first Knight of Darkness, had told him to finish off this Warrior Spirit as Lilith had ordered him to.

He smirked when he saw that his golden chains couldn’t pierce his shield. Even though he was surprised that they could also attack and not just defend, it didn’t matter because they couldn’t reach him. 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂

Kevin smirked too; he was finally ready to make that bastard pay for what he had done to him and for daring to show it to Axel.

He felt that Axel was still disturbed by what he had seen, and he could feel the fury of his wolf crying out for vengeance. The only thing that could appease his wolf now was for him to bring Oliver’s head back to him, so he had no intention of making this fight last longer than necessary.

Kevin had concentrated as many golden particles as possible inside his short swords made of light particles, and he hoped that now they would be powerful enough to penetrate this shield made of black particles.

As his Chains of Restraint continued to weaken his shield all over, especially where his shoulders were, he charged at him and struck first just above his right shoulder because Oliver was right-handed.

When he saw his shield cracking there, he struck again, and when a gap opened, he used all his power in this sword strike and succeeded in cutting his right shoulder.
