Chapter 305: *A predator*

Mykael nodded and said to him, "Okay, I’ll leave them in your care then."

He added hastily, "I almost forgot to tell you, I destroyed the magical beasts you hunted for Willow, and I made her a feast instead that she should enjoy."

He ruffled Kevin’s hair, took Axel in his arms, and whispered to him, "Be careful, son."

Axel patted him on the back to let him know that everything would be alright, and then he approached Axel’s grandfather. When he put his hand on his shoulder, he immediately identified the world he was from. He turned back to the boys and said to them, "Sons, I’ll be back as soon as I can. If you have any issues by then, contact Colin and Caleb first."

The boys nodded, and Kevin then reminded him, "Don’t forget, I need your help to do some cleaning during the duel; otherwise, I’ll have to ask Colin for help."

Mykael chuckled and said to him, "No threat, son; I’ll be back tomorrow at noon at the latest. Do not worry... And try not to get into trouble while I’m gone, or Elias will make me pay for it."

Kevin chuckled in turn, and Axel, while putting his arm around his shoulders, said before his father took his grandfather away, "I hope we’ll see each other again soon, grandpa."

Axel’s grandfather, who hadn’t taken his eyes off Kevin after the latter had ’kindly’ asked him to retract his aura, looked again at his grandson, who seemed very happy with this man.

He forced himself to smile and tell him, "You are one of us; you can come whenever you want. You and your family will always be welcome among us."

Before leaving, he took one last look at his grandson’s husband, and when Mykael teleported them and that he recognized his home world, he felt really relieved. He then asked Mykael with a frown, "What the fuck was that? Is my grandson really safe with his husband? This guy is a fucking predator."

Mykael smiled and said to him, "Don’t tell me that one look from him scared off the mighty werewolf that you are?"

But when he saw that Axel’s grandfather wasn’t kidding, he said to him to reassure him, "Look, Kevin grew up in a world that I should have reset. That world was so corrupted that their destruction was inevitable, but the kid he was back then changed the fate of this world. The God of War intervened in person so that I wouldn’t reset that world because he told me at that time that he had found a unique Warrior Spirit who was living here and that this Warrior Spirit had already mastered Stage 1 when he was only 8 years old. That child prodigy was Kevin."

He then told him, "He grew up in an orphanage where they were starved and beaten every day. He learned how to survive very young, and you can take my word for it; Kevin is only dangerous to his enemies. He will never attack first, and he is very loyal. On the other hand, he has absolutely no mercy for those who threaten his family or his friends, and the man he has become growing up in this world is a real war machine. Axel cannot be safer than when he is with him."

Mykael leaned against a tree and told him everything he knew. He explained that it was probably Cassandra’s men who had captured him and that she had to take advantage of the fact that his pack had become a target to use Gwendolyn for her plans.

He explained that this goddess had wanted to use Axel to win a battle and that he should never have known he had a son, but Kevin’s arrival in this world had changed everything.

He explained to him how she had tricked Kevin and everything she had done to him in order to capture his soul and transmigrate it to this world. Only the Warrior Spirits were completely unpredictable men, and even with all the precautions she had taken, she hadn’t been able to keep him under her control.

He then told him what Kevin had discovered about their world and the threat the Titans posed to their entire universe. Axel’s grandfather sighed and then said to him, "So it was because of what Kevin discovered that I was freed by the men of the God of War."

Mykael nodded and said to him, "Kevin can be scary, and believe me, he gave me the creeps too, but he is a good person."

Axel’s grandfather nodded and said with a smile, "Axel seems to be crazy about him."

Mykael chuckled and said to him, "Indeed he is, but don’t worry; they share the mark of the Union, so it’s a mutual love... And they are already talking about having children together."

Mykael then said to him, becoming serious again, "Now that you know who your enemies are, let me come with you. I want to be sure there are no more spies from Cassandra or Lilith here."

Axel’s grandfather put his hand on his shoulder and said to him, "My grandson’s husband was right. I shouldn’t have judged you before I heard your story; I accept your help with gratitude, and I’m glad to know that not all Gods are like Cassandra and Lilith."

.....

The next morning, Derek and Connor were awakened by knocks on their door, and Connor immediately woke up with a start.

He pushed Derek violently to the ground, and Derek, while swearing as he got up, stopped dead in his tracks when he saw that Connor was curled up in the corner of their room, his head in his knees, completely terrified.

He then clenched his fists, and the red circles around his eyes began to glow incandescently; the hatred he felt for those who had done that to his man had no limit.

When the person who had awakened them knocked again, increasing the tremors that shook Connor’s body, he went to open the door, and once again he had to swallow the insults he wanted to send to the one who was terrorizing his man because it was Kerry who was behind the door.

Kerry then said to him, "What the fuck, Derek! Actually, this is a surprise; I thought you never had a lover other than our uncle... So who’s the lucky guy?"

Derek was surprised by his remark, and when he saw that Kerry was looking at his chest while trying not to laugh, he then looked down and realized that in his fury he had forgotten to get dressed before opening the door and that the hickeys and bites that Connor had been happy to leave on his body were visible everywhere.
