He then said aloud, "This ring will allow her to teleport to your dimension whenever she wants... What do you plan to do now that she is born?"

Axel replied as Kevin took their baby phoenix from his father’s hand, "We’re going to hunt magical beasts for her. She said that all phoenixes are carnivores and that she needs a lot of meat."

Mykael nodded and said to them, "Then I will continue to train your friends. Let me know if you prefer to be alone with her tonight or if you want us all to get together to celebrate her birth with you."

Axel and Kevin nodded, and Mykael disappeared right after, leaving them alone again with Willow.

Kevin then used their link to communicate with Axel and said to him, "She is so cute, and I can feel the warmth emanating from her body."

Beyond words, Axel could feel Kevin’s euphoria and happiness through their link, and he said to him, "I’m very happy too, babe... Let’s go hunting first, then we’ll decide whether to invite everyone or not."

Kevin nodded, and Axel then said aloud, "Hold her tight!" Kevin didn’t have time to ask him why, as he was already being carried like a princess by Axel... Again... And he couldn’t help but mutter, "You really have a problem with this habit, honey."

Axel chuckled and said to him before kissing him, "That’s because I wanted to hold you both in my arms."

After kissing him tenderly on the lips, he leaned over and placed a light kiss on Willow’s head before teleporting the three of them to their dimension. From there, he teleported them to the exact spot where the purple vortex dungeon had appeared in the Wildlands.

Axel immediately activated his mother’s bloodline, and silver circles appeared around his pupils, making his deep blue eyes even more beautiful.

He then said to Kevin, "I’d rather keep both of you safe in my arms while we move. I don’t feel like turning into my wolf form, at least not right now."

Kevin looked at their baby phoenix, and he really enjoyed having her in his hands, so he nodded to Axel and asked him curiously, "Have you ever fought against magical beasts?"

Axel shrugged his shoulders and said to him, "I’ve never had this chance. They usually prefer to stay away from humans, and when I used my wolf form, they ran away from me, so this will be a first for me too. I will take us to where I feel the most powerful of them."

Kevin just nodded, and Axel started to run through the woods, being careful not to make any sudden movements. He didn’t even know what a magical beast looked like or what they were capable of, but even the most powerful of them seemed far from their current level; it would be a piece of cake to chase them.

Axel slowed down after only 10 minutes and asked Kevin using their link, "Can you feel them?"

Kevin smiled and said, using their link too, "Yes, there are 4, but I’m still a bit far to use the Chains of Restraint. We need to get closer, and once I have immobilized them, you will be able to execute them."

Axel winked at him and continued to move closer. He too preferred to avoid fighting as much as possible while Willow was with them, and once Kevin had positioned Willow to hold her against his chest, he held one of his hands out in front of them. Four golden chains appeared and headed in different directions.

Axel then stopped because he felt that the magical beasts were getting closer to them, which meant that the Chains of Restraint had already captured them and were bringing them back to them.

When he saw the first one, which looked like a lion but was about 2 meters tall and had a mane made of real flames, he quickly put Kevin down and made one of his swords appear in his hand before rushing to decapitate it.

The Chains of Restraint continued to bring back the magical beasts, and he also decapitated a snake that appeared to have dragon scales on its skin, a gorilla that was twice the size of the lion he had just killed, and finally a giant scorpion that had not one but 5 stingers and was the most powerful magical beast he had found.

Kevin looked at their baby phoenix skeptically and said to her, "Willow, these are the most powerful magical beasts we have found, but tell me, sweetie... how are you going to eat them? Should I cook them for you? Because I’m warning you, right now, this is beyond my cooking skills."

Willow rubbed her head against his neck while still on his chest and then said to him, "No need to prepare them for me; I’ll take care of it myself. Just put me down on the ground; I don’t want to hurt you unintentionally."

Kevin then put her on the ground in front of them and told Axel what she had just said.

Suddenly, Willow spread her wings, which were bigger than they first thought. Then, she started to flap them steadily, and after the 4th time, wind blades appeared and started slicing through the carcasses.

After a few more flaps, the 4 magical beasts were totally unrecognizable, and they were nothing but bits of meat scattered all over the ground. Kevin smirked and said to Axel through their link, "Damn, did you see that? That was so cool; our baby has huge potential."

Axel’s eyes widened, and he forgot to answer Kevin, who, seeing his reaction, turned his attention back to their baby phoenix to see why his man was so stunned. Then he saw that Willow had opened her beak, and a fireball was forming in front of her, growing bigger and bigger.

When Willow threw it, instead of exploding on the pile of meat pieces and charring them as he expected, the fireball stopped just above and divided into many small flames that disintegrated only the parts that Willow couldn’t eat, leaving only the raw meat because phoenixes preferred raw meat, which was much more nutritious for them.

Once her feast was ready, Willow flapped her wings awkwardly. Under the watchful eyes of her daddies, she flew up and landed on a pile of meat pieces that she started to devour immediately.

These magical beasts, contrary to what her daddies thought, were not very powerful, but for her newborn body, they would be enough. However, she would have to ask her ’grandpa’ to take her hunting elsewhere when she grew up; otherwise, she would not be able to strengthen her body.
