My Lust System: I Inherited The Sin Of Lust And His Three Wives-Chapter 131: Deadly Turn Of Events
With a furious roar, Duke Haborym broke the rhythm.
One of his fists tore through Corbin’s guard and slammed into his frame with brutal force, the impact jolting Corbin backward as the air around them cracked. Before Corbin could stabilize, another blow followed.
Boom!
The second punch buried itself into his abdomen.
The force lifted him clean off the ground and sent him hurtling backward, his body tearing through the air before crashing down several meters away.
But Corbin did not fall.
The moment his feet touched the ground, they dug in. His boots scraped against the fractured surface as he absorbed the impact, his body bending slightly before snapping back upright.
Without hesitation, Corbin sprang to the left and just in time.
BOOOOM!!!
The space he had occupied a fraction of a second ago was obliterated as Duke Haborym crashed into it like a falling comet. Emerald flames trailed behind him, his massive body carving into the ground with terrifying speed and force.
Damian’s eyes narrowed sharply as he tracked the movement.
Then he saw it. Above Duke Haborym was Gilbert.
The archangel hovered midair, his wings spread wide as he reached into his side and pulled out a strange object. It was a circular metallic orb, composed of countless spiraling layers that rotated within each other, each ring etched with faint divine markings.
Without hesitation, Gilbert hurled it downward.
The orb spun as it fell, then it broke apart.
Thousands of metallic strands unraveled midair, each one moving with unnatural precision as they shot toward Duke Haborym from every direction. In an instant, they wrapped around him, coiling tightly around his limbs, his torso, his neck, binding him completely.
Layer upon layer until he stood frozen lik statue of metal locked in place mid-motion.
"NOW!" Gilbert roared.
Corbin reacted instantly.
The cathedral trembled and its runes flared. The flow of divine energy shifted violently as Corbin redirected its power, channeling it directly into Gilbert without hesitation.
The effect was immediate.
The flaming sword in Gilbert’s grasp erupted.
Divine fire surged wildly, tripling in intensity as golden flames roared along the blade, swelling into something vast and overwhelming. The air itself distorted under the pressure of the weapon as Gilbert raised it high above his head.
Power gathered and condensed. But when he was about to strike.
BOOOOM!!!
A violent eruption of hellfire burst outward from the metal bindings. The restraints did not shatter, they were obliterated.
Every strand was blown apart in an instant, scattered like dust under the overwhelming surge of emerald flames. The explosion rippled outward, catching Gilbert mid-motion and blasting him backward before his attack could fall.
At the center of it Duke Haborym moved.
His body blurred like a shadow slipping between spaces, his form vanishing from sight as he surged forward with murderous intent.
His target was obviously Corbin.
He knew.
He understood the flow of the cathedral now. Corbin needed time. Even a single second to shift the power back to himself. And he would not give it.
Corbin’s instincts screamed and he leapt back.
Duke Haborym’s claws flashed through the space he had just occupied, slicing through the air with lethal precision.
"Close..." Corbin muttered under his breath.
But he was wrong. The attack had already landed.
Blood burst from his eyes.
A deep gash split across his face, starting from the bridge of his nose and cutting outward toward both eyes in a perfectly straight line. The wound carved through with surgical precision, leaving a trail of destruction that robbed him of his sight instantly.
His vision went dark. But Duke Haborym did not stop.
His next attack came immediately.
This time, his hand was clenched into a fist, emerald flames roaring violently around it as he drove it forward to finish what he started.
But Corbin reacted even blind.
The cathedral’s power rushed back into him as he reclaimed control, divine energy wrapping tightly around his body as his hand shot up to intercept the incoming blow.
He could not see but he could feel it.
The suffocating presence of hellfire made it impossible to miss.
Boom!
The punch landed.
A violent shockwave exploded outward from the collision, the force of it rattling Corbin’s entire frame. His balance faltered instantly, his body jerking backward as the impact tore through his guard.
His footing broke. He was still recovering, unready and Duke Haborym saw it.
Three fists ignited all at once and before Corbin could recover they came down.
BOOOOM!!!
The blows struck with overwhelming force, slamming into his body and sending him flying across the cathedral like a broken projectile. His figure tore through the air before crashing violently at the far edge, his body skidding across the ground as debris scattered in his wake.
Duke Haborym did not hesitate.
The moment Corbin’s body crashed into the far edge of the cathedral, his own figure shot forward like a streak of emerald light. The ground shattered beneath each step as he closed the distance instantly, his massive frame appearing over Corbin the very moment he hit the ground.
There was no pause.
No mercy.
Corbin had barely begun to stir when the Duke was already standing above him, six arms raised, hellfire roaring violently around his fists. The emerald flames cast a monstrous glow across his three faces, each one twisted with cold intent as he prepared to crush him where he lay.
But then, help came!
"RAAAAAHHHH!!!"
A furious roar tore through the battlefield. Duke Haborym’s head turned slightly. Behind him was Gilbert descended like a falling star.
Golden flames blazed wildly along his sword, divine light erupting around his form as he shot forward through the air with unstoppable momentum. His wings flared wide, cutting through the burning atmosphere as he closed in with lethal intent, the blade in his hand screaming with condensed divine power.
He was seconds away but Duke Haborym did not turn fully. He did not need to. Three of his arms lifted lazily and his palms faced backward.
BOOOOOOM!!!
Hellfire erupted.
A violent torrent of emerald flames burst from his hands, surging outward like a tidal wave as it swallowed the space between them in an instant. The sheer volume of it twisted the air, devouring everything in its path as it rushed toward Gilbert with overwhelming force.
