"Is this candy that good?" Tian Hua pursed her lips upon seeing Xiao Shen’s ecstatic look. With curiosity, she popped it into her mouth and chewed, feeling it dissolve into a honey like substance as it slid down her throat.

Instantly, her brain cells were permeated by a hot feeling that felt like a supernova exploded inside her head.

However, the heat was not a burning one, but rather the type of feeling one got while sitting by a fireplace during winter.

The secrets of the world seemed to be unraveled before them as their pupils dilated to take in all the new extra information flooding their minds.

The urge to consume information raged in their hearts and they instantly picked up the textbooks and began studying.

The sight of two university students seriously studying while sitting in a warm cafe was thus born.

With her mind still in half a stupor from the information overload, Tian Hua slammed her small fist on the table. "I see it now!" 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎

Xiao Shen adjusted Dong Wang’s glasses on his nose and nodded his head vigorously. "Yes! Yes!"

"Shen-ge, THERE IS NO ESCAPE!" She seemed intoxicated as she waved her hands about for emphasis.

"EVERYTHING is just CHEMISTRY wearing a fake mustache, Hua-jie!" Xiao Shen nodded his head vigorously. He too seemed as though intoxicated.

"Those physics majors think they’re deep into their own stuff, but velocity, acceleration, is all just atoms at work?!" Tian Hua raised a finger into the air.

"Engineering majors claim they make the world we live in, but we make the materials they use! Iron? Aluminum? Steel? Chemistry!" Xiao Shen nodded his head even more vigorously.

"This is chemistry!" Tian Hua picked up the glass of water. "Hydrogen molecules with intermolecular bonds connected to oxygen molecules at a two to one ratio!"

"Biology majors claim to study life, but life is made possible by chemistry! Hormones, cells, neurons, they’re al chemistry!" Xiao Shen nodded his head even more vigorously.

[Anchor? Are you alright?]

[Ah, I think it’s Anchor’s first time of taking a Comprehension capsule!]

"Your food..." The waitress sister paused slightly as she approached the table. The two students that had been meticulously studying a second ago were now arguing and wildly gesturing as though they had drunk ten glasses of Baijiu.

"Ah?" She looked around, and did not see a guy in a white robe anywhere.

Why the hell were they drunk, then? After all, she had not delivered them any drinks, just water!

She placed the food on the table and got a nod from both as the two diverted their attention to the food.

Tian Hua nodded as she poked the chicken steak with her finger and licked the sauces. "Eating is chemistry! Enzymes, amino acids, gastric acids, chemistry!"

"... Right." The waitress sister nodded her head and slowly backed away.

"Love is chemistry!" Xiao Shen pointed at a lovey-dovey couple sitting at a table opposite them. Tian Hua looked back at them nodded her head vigorously. "Yes! Yes! Dopamine, oxytocin, intermolecular forces between two opposite bodies! Chemistry!"

The couple glanced at each other and quietly stood up and walked away from the cafe.

Then she looked down at her sweater. "Fashion is chemistry!"

Xiao Shen nodded his head vigorously too. "Yes! Dye chemistry, polymer structure, fabric interactions, Chemistry! Drip is just optimized intermolecular attraction!"

He then pointed at a painting on the wall. "Art too is chemistry!"

"Pigments are molecules! Art is just orbitals expressing themselves! Even music is just atoms vibrating!" Tian Hua nodded her head vigorously.

She looked at an uncle swiping profiles on his phone. "Dating apps are chemistry!"

The uncle twitched and switched off his phone. He downed his drink and hurriedly left the cafe.

"Yes! Collision theory! Laws of magnetism! Chemistry!" Xiao Shen adjusted Dong Wang’s glasses on his nose once again. "Even gaming is Chemistry!"

"Grinding is repeating trials till a successful reaction!" Tian Hua adjusted her own glasses and continued nodding.

"RPGs are statistical mechanics and loot drops are probability distributions!" Xiao Shen nodded his head also.

"Cooking is literally reactions!" Xiao Shen pointed at the kitchen.

"The world runs on chemical reactions!" Tian Hua pointed out the window, out into the night sky.

"Chemistry is number one! We are the blood of the chemistry department, even if we’re the only ones here!"

The two of them fell silent and looked at each other with exaggerated smiles as the meaning of the chemistry department’s logo suddenly hit them. "God is chemistry and chemistry is god!"

At the counter, the waitress sister’s eyes gleaned as she listened.
