Chapter 131: Chapter 131: Did I Offend the Wrong Person?

The young man sneered, "All of you, shut up. You’re just a bunch of lowlifes. The fact that I, your young master, am cutting in line should be an honor for you!"

"Who are you calling a lowlife? As if you’re so noble. Would a truly noble person cut in line? Have you no shame? Get to the back of the line!" Zhong Qiang bellowed.

The others chimed in, "Exactly! We’re all waiting patiently in line, but you just cut. What’s so great about you? You think you can insult people just because you have some dirty money?"

The young man chuckled coldly. "Let me tell you something. I have never waited in line to see a doctor in my life. I have priority wherever I go. Know what’s good for you. If you delay my treatment, you can’t afford the consequences! I’ll ruin every single one of you!"

"Priority? Who gave you priority? Are you a soldier? If not, then get to the back of the line. Stop bothering everyone else who’s here to see a doctor!" the crowd shouted.

"That’s right! It’s our turn next, so you can go wait at the back!" Zhong Qiang was still arguing. He didn’t want to resort to violence, as hospitals were special places, but he never expected them to be so unbelievably overbearing.

To his shock, one of the man’s companions snatched the ticket from his hand and tore it to shreds. "There. Now you don’t have a ticket. Go register again, hahaha!"

After committing such an outrageous act, the man showed absolutely no remorse, only continuing his tyrannical behavior. It seems they really do have some powerful backing.

Zhong Qiang was stunned. Without that ticket, he couldn’t prove he had registered. The other people in line were also dumbfounded, never imagining this group would be so arrogant and aggressive.

"Lowlife, are you going to scram or not!" the young master sneered.

"Hurry up and get lost!" one of his men shouted, suddenly kicking out at Zhong Qiang.

Zhong Qiang tried to block the blow but couldn’t withstand it. This man’s strength is at least that of a Martial Arts Master. I’m no match for him at all. He was sent flying with a single kick, slamming hard against the wall. The people waiting behind him gasped in fright. They had clearly run into scum—and not just any scum, but the kind with powerful connections and formidable Combat Power.

With a fight breaking out, the person in charge at the hospital finally arrived. A nurse had called the head of security.

The man leading the security team arrived, bellowing, "Who dares cause trouble in the hospital? Do you not want to be treated? I am Cheng Qiang, the head of hospital security. If you have a complaint, speak to me!"

"They cut in line, assaulted someone, and even tore up his ticket!" a group of people shouted.

Zhong Qiang, enduring his pain, explained the situation. "Sir, they assaulted me and cut the line. Please throw them out!"

Cheng Qiang scoffed. "Throw them out? Do you have any idea who they are?" He shot Zhong Qiang a disdainful look, then turned to the young man with an obsequious smile. "Young Master Liang, please, come inside. Go ahead with your treatment. Leave the rest to me!"

That Cheng Qiang would dare to do this in front of everyone immediately sparked outrage.

"This is outrageous! Why can they just cut in line!?"

"Does your hospital have no rules?"

"Can people do whatever they want just because they have connections?"

...

"All of you, shut up!" Cheng Qiang roared. "What the hell do you know? That’s Young Master Liang, the second young master of the Liang Family, one of the four great families of the Kang City Business Alliance. The Liang Family has made outstanding contributions to Kang City’s development. So what if he cuts in line to see a doctor? He’s in a hurry! Otherwise, a single word from him could shut this entire hospital down!

"Besides, what are you all babbling about? It doesn’t affect you. Since this man’s ticket was torn, he can just go register again. There isn’t an extra person in front of you, so why are you meddling in others’ business?"

The crowd was fuming, but as the saying goes, people tend to mind their own business. Since they hadn’t suffered a direct loss, they decided not to get involved. A few people still looked like they wanted to fight for justice, but Cheng Qiang glared at them viciously. "Anyone else who wants to play hero can get lost. Our hospital won’t miss a few patients. We are a National Hospital under the National Medicine Association. A major hospital!"

"Then what are we supposed to do?" Zhong Qiang asked, extremely dissatisfied. He had hoped someone would arrive to uphold justice, but instead, the situation had turned into a complete farce.

"What to do? Go register and get back in line!" Cheng Qiang said contemptuously. 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶

"And what about them assaulting me? Your security department can’t just turn a blind eye, can it?" Zhong Qiang said coldly.

"Heh, you deserved to be hit," Cheng Qiang sneered. "Who told you to provoke Young Master Liang? I saw it with my own two eyes! You struck Young Master Liang first!"

"You’re being completely unreasonable!" Zhong Qiang was so furious he could have spat blood.

Just then, a nurse walked out from the inner office. She looked at Cheng Qiang and said, "Young Master Liang said that if the man who started this still wants to be treated, he and his companions must kneel and apologize to them. Otherwise, every hospital in Kang City will be closed to their group from now on!"

"Did you hear that? Young Master Liang is very angry," Cheng Qiang said with a cold laugh. "But as long as you kneel and apologize, we can pretend this never happened. You can still register and see a doctor. Otherwise, just wait to be blacklisted by every hospital in Kang City."

"Did I hear you correctly?" Zhong Qiang was stunned. "They cut in line, tore my ticket, and assaulted me. And now *I* have to kneel and apologize? There are still laws in Kang City, aren’t there? How can you all be so lawless!"

Cheng Qiang retorted mockingly, "If I say it’s your fault, it’s your fault. You need to understand, Young Master Liang is a man of great importance. If his treatment is delayed by even a few minutes, it could result in a massive loss. So what if he cut the line? If he’s happy, he can create countless jobs and generate huge tax revenues for Kang City. You made him unhappy, so this is your fault! Are you still going to deny it?"

"That’s the logic of a bandit!" Zhong Qiang roared.

"What are you roaring about? If you want to see a doctor, then get lost, go register, and get back in line. Furthermore, if the three of you don’t apologize to Young Master Liang today, I guarantee you’ll never see a doctor in Kang City for the rest of your lives. Since you had the guts to offend Young Master Liang, you must have the means to get treatment somewhere else, right?" Cheng Qiang sneered, acting as if he had Zhong Qiang completely under his thumb.

Zhong Qiang’s heart was seething with rage. He had originally wanted to resolve this himself, but now it seemed impossible. Faced with such unreasonable people, perhaps the only option left was to fight fire with fire!

The others sighed. No one dared to speak up for Zhong Qiang. Cheng Qiang was too domineering. What if they were also denied treatment? They were angry, but they could only bottle it up.

"So, what are you going to do?" Cheng Qiang watched Zhong Qiang with a smug expression, as if his actions were something commendable and glorious. He truly knew no shame.

"Apologize? Not happening! Kneel? Even less likely!" Zhong Qiang said coldly. "Let me tell you, you’ve messed with the wrong people!"

"Hahahaha, a bunch of lowlifes like you, and *I’ve* messed with the wrong people?" Cheng Qiang was not the least bit afraid. Unless there were special circumstances, a person of any real status would never be waiting in this line. Therefore, he was certain Zhong Qiang and his companions were nobodies.
