Aksai did not enter immediately.

Instead, he walked slowly around the surrounding streets, observing the overall atmosphere of the island.

Everything seemed stable.

Trade was growing. The guild members were disciplined for the most part. The island's defense patrols were active and working as they should have been as well.

Aksai quietly nodded to himself.

Over the years, the Emerald Cove Guild had slowly transformed from a relatively small organization into a powerful force within the Dadangar Seas. And now, with two new Core Formation Lords added to his side in the shadows, its strength had grown even further.

After finishing his inspection of the outer districts, Aksai finally turned toward the guild headquarters.

Still appearing as an ordinary early-stage Foundation Establishment cultivator, he calmly walked toward the main entrance while blending naturally into the busy flow of guild members around him.

At the center of the hall floated a large spectral display.

The display was made from Spirit energy and looked like a wide transparent screen hanging in the air. Rows of glowing text and symbols slowly moved across it as new missions appeared and older ones were taken by guild members.

Aksai raised his head and looked at the large spectral screen. A long list of missions filled the display.

The first group of missions caught his attention quickly.

Escort missions.

Many smaller sects and merchant groups from nearby islands in the archipelago had posted requests. They wanted protection for their ships and caravans as they traveled between the islands and the mainland.

Some of the missions required escorting ships carrying Spirit herbs and ores. Others were simple transport protection missions for merchant vessels.

Aksai's eyes moved calmly across the screen. These kinds of missions were common.

The seas around the Dadangar archipelago were large and not always safe. Demon beasts sometimes attacked ships. Pirates and rogue cultivators also appeared from time to time. Escort missions were a normal part of guild operations.

Since Aksai controlled Kalingoot from the shadows, these tasks were practically no-risk-decent-rewards kind of missions. Although they didn't give out many Spirit stones, they were safe to be accepted by even the newbie Spirit cultivators.

'Hmm. Rebuilding Kalingoot from the ground up was indeed a good idea. The guild would have lost a lot of business if it weren't for that.'

Aksai thought to himself as his gaze moved further down the screen. The next group of missions was related to Spirit resource harvesting.

Many of them required cultivators to travel into the Duya Forest.

The Duya Forest was an exceptionally vast wilderness area on the mainland. It was filled with many kinds of Spirit herbs, rare minerals, and demon beasts.

These missions asked guild members to collect certain herbs or rare materials that were known to grow deep inside the forest.

Most of these tasks were recurring missions. Once one group completed the task, the mission would soon appear again on the board. After that, Aksai noticed another group of tasks.

Artifact creation missions.

Several sects from the mainland had placed requests for specific Spirit artifacts. These tasks required skilled artifact creators within the guild.

Some of the requests were simple tools or weapons. Others were more complicated Spirit items that required rare materials. There were also missions related to talisman crafting.

Many alchemists and sects had posted requests for special talismans used for defense, attack, or concealment. Alchemy synthesis missions were also listed.

Some sects provided their own ingredients and simply wanted skilled alchemists to refine pills for them. Others were willing to pay the guild to gather ingredients and produce the pills themselves.

Aksai watched the long list of missions carefully.

However, after observing for a while, he noticed something that stood out. Most of the missions on the display were related to demon beast subjugation.

These missions came from many different places.

Some were for demon beasts living inside the Duya Forest. Others were located in smaller wilderness areas scattered across the mainland and the archipelago.

The requests asked guild members to hunt and kill demon beasts that had grown too strong or were threatening nearby towns and sects.

These missions were mainly sanctioned by the five major kingdoms of the Dadangar Subcontinent. Their rewards were noticeably higher.

Large amounts of Spirit Stones were listed as payment. Some missions also offered rare Spirit materials as additional rewards.

Aksai continued observing the screen calmly.

Then something caught his attention.

There were also missions related to 3rd Order demon beasts.

Aksai looked at the list more carefully.

These missions were asking guild members to subjugate powerful 3rd Order demon beasts in groups and retrieve their Spirit Cores. They were even provided with various artifacts and array disks that could be used by a group of 6 or more Experts in order to trap and hunt 3rd Order beasts.

He narrowed his eyes slightly.

It was not unusual to see demon beast subjugation missions.

Even when he had lived in the Haan Di State many decades ago, the large guild run by the state often had similar missions.

Those missions used to refresh every day or every week depending on the needs of alchemists, artifact creators, and other cultivators.

Spirit cultivators always needed demon beast materials.

Blood, bones, claws, scales, and Spirit Cores were used in many types of cultivation techniques and tasks. However, most of those missions were limited to late-stage 2nd Order demon beasts or below.

Requests for 3rd Order demon beasts were rare.

When Aksai was still an initial-stage expert living in Haan Di, he barely saw two or three such missions in an entire month. This was because hunting 3rd Order demon beasts was extremely dangerous.

Those beasts were usually strong enough to even overwhelm tens of Experts using battle formations. Only a Core Formation Lord could reliably and securely engage in combat with such beasts.

Most of the time, these missions were released by the Core Formation Lords themselves. And whenever they did, the Core Formation Lords themselves would provide powerful battle formations in terms of array disks for temporary use.
