My Favorite Game Followed Me!-Chapter 747
Chapter 747
The poor elven girl who threw a spell at the screen because of a jump scare scene from the movie Alien was being scolded severely by her elders. Even the nobles who were seated at the front were looking back at her with grumpy eyes. The fact that Anton and the young elves surrounding him kept laughing probably increased the grumpiness of some of the older elves.
Thankfully, after the screen was replaced with a new one within a couple of minutes, the scolding from the older forest elves to the young girl stopped, and the movie resumed. Anton still could not help but giggle every time he remembers the scene where all the elves suddenly shouted during that jump scare, and a fireball appeared, destroying the screen. Every combatant there readied themselves as if the alien in the movie had come out to attack them.
After the movie ended, Anton could see that, even though the film was a blend of science fiction, horror, and thriller, the forest elves still seemed to appreciate it.
At first, Anton thought that since he was used to battling monsters, even the most horrifying undead ones, horror films or thriller films would not affect him. It still did, but he thought that the main difference was that Anton kept on strategizing on how to defeat the Alien creature. With his powers that he had, it would be easy to destroy something like the Alien creature, so he thought of ways to defeat it if he were a mundane person. All in all, he was greatly mistaken that horror or thriller would not be so fun for him. He was greatly entertained watching the film, and it appeared that the forest elves were as well. He could not wait to watch the second film in the franchise because he had read that it was the best one.
Anton was a little apprehensive about the movies after the second film because, according to the Netizens, they leave much to be desired. He thought that maybe he should end the franchise on Aliens, which was the second film, and tell everyone that the franchise had ended there. Before he confirmed that decision, Anton thought that it would be best to watch different rankings and reviews of the films. He did not want to miss out on anything just because he based his decision on comments by some of the Netizens about the franchise.
Leldorin approached Anton once everyone was busy talking about the movie.
“Anton, we’ve decided to show you our nature spells. As per our agreement, we’ve excluded combat spells. You can choose a total of five spellbooks among them, and in return, please give us a copy of the three Avatar movies and the six Lord of the Rings films. I’ll show you the spellbooks tomorrow. We know that you’ve also traded copies of the films to Darodil, and that’s outside of our deal. We request that that’s the last deal that you made regarding the Avatar and the Lord of the Rings films, at least with the forest elves.”
Leldorin’s statement packed a lot of information. First, the elves wanted exclusive rights for the Avatar and the Lord of the Rings film, aside from the copies that he had already promised to Darodil, the elven carpenter. Second, they had given an unspoken permission regarding Anton trading other movies to other elves.
“Please remember that for the Avatar films, copies would not be in 3d.”
“We understand. You’ve already told me that.”
Anton immediately handed mini Globes of Browser Sharing that contained the three Avatar movies and the six Lord of the Rings films. Thankfully, he could now create up to ten mini Globes of Browser Sharing. He told Leldorin that the movies needed to be recorded using a magic item recorder as soon as possible, since the globes that he gave the elf would only last for seven days.
Leldorin asked how to operate the tiny globes, and Anton just told him that the moment he held it, the information on how to use it would be imparted to his mind.
Leldorin and Enoril stared at the globes that Anton handed to the older merchant. After a minute of studying the items, Leldorin turned to Anton.
“After we copy the movies, can we experiment on these marbles?” Leldorin asked.
“Sure, as long as you share with me the results of your research. Just remember, those globes would only last for seven days,” Anton reiterated, and Leldorin agreed immediately with a delighted expression on his face. 𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖
He liked the fact that the elves had become very open to his presence. They allowed him to share their feelings by not hiding their expressions from him. Anton appreciated the power of the movies and how they could bring people closer to each other.
He wondered if the elves would find out something about the Globes of Browser Sharing. He was curious since the globes were part of his Diablo System.
Anton knew that his Diablo System was extremely powerful, and he was doubtful that the elves would find out anything about even a tiny part of it. The forest elven wizards were powerful, and he did not doubt that they had Divine Rank wizards among them. He did not know if those lofty beings would deign to lower themselves to experiment on something like his mini Globes of Browser Sharing, though. Nevertheless, he was still curious to let them try.
After their talk, Leldorin rushed somewhere to start the process of copying the films from Anton’s globes to a magic item recorder. He could see that some of the nobles there were looking at Leldorin, holding the globes as if they were something precious and fragile, and the nobles had a delighted expression on their faces.
Anton wondered if the elves had a much sturdier magic item recorder compared to what their family usually used.
During the remainder of the evening, Anton, Enoril, and the other young elves continued talking to each other about the Alien movie. It amused Anton that none of them treated the Alien creature as something monstrous since even the weakest of them could probably deal with something like it without any issue. He then told them what he was thinking about earlier while watching the film. About how to deal with something like the Alien creature with only the power of a regular human.
That statement provoked enjoyable arguments between all of them. Some of the elves even announced that they had suddenly thought of a new script that could create, so they could create their own horror films.
In the middle of their talk, a lot of the elves kept pestering Anton about the next Alien movies. They only stopped when Anton admitted to them that the next film was considered the best. At the very least, he had managed to stop himself before he shared how many Alien movies there were. It was still in Anton’s mind to stop at Aliens, which was the title of the second film in the Alien franchise.
The young elves were surprised when Captain Meldrolil joined them.
“Anton, your Dire Wolves and Dire Bear decimated a lot of my men, even the stronger ones!” The elven captain said.
“I hope nobody died,” Anton joked.
“A couple almost did. After that, we made sure to watch the fights carefully to make sure that there would be no fatalities,” the elven captains said seriously.
For a brief moment, Anton got nervous. He wondered what would happen if someone died. Of course, he knew that it would not be his fault since he had given ample warnings to the elves about how powerful his summons were. Still, he knew that if someone died, a little of his good relationship with the forest elves would probably decrease.
