My Favorite Game Followed Me!-Chapter 731
Chapter 731
All the young forest elves with him looked at him in admiration. He hoped that would increase his reputation since he still wanted to purchase the most exclusive things that the forest elves could sell to him, which were their spells. He wanted their ability to control their surroundings and make them beautiful. He did manage to achieve some of it through the use of Mana Rain, but the forest elves were straightforward in making the flora and fauna that could reach his spell casting range behave like they were in the season he wanted to have. He could imagine creating a place in the Rose Manor that was forever stuck in Autumn, for example.
Anton was not in a hurry. Even though he wanted to move forward with his adventure, he would stay until Darodil, the forest elf carpenter, completed all of his orders. He knew that there were probably strict limitations to such spells; otherwise, why did the forest elves keep trading with the other communities in the forest for crops? Nevertheless, he still wanted those spells, and he had an inkling that after the Lord of the Rings franchise, the elves might allow him to purchase those spells. Thankfully, even with his Diablo System, he could still learn the spells from the magic system of this world. That was also the reason why Anton thought that if he was given enough time to grow, he could become one of the most powerful beings in this world.
They returned to shopping for different things. Anton even purchased weapons, different armors, and more with the intention of them being displayed in the manor instead of using them. When the forest elves learned his purpose of buying them, they just shrugged. Apparently, a lot of nobles who were allowed to purchase from them also did the same thing.
When they brought him to a place where enchanted weapons and armors were being sold, he was informed that he was still not allowed to buy them. Anton just shrugged since he was not really interested in buying such stuff. The items he received from his system were legendary items, and he had not found anything in this world that could compare to them.
The forest elf enchanter saw Anton’s disinterest in the enchantments and was instead focusing on the aesthetics of the things in the shop.
“What do you think of the enchantments in my items, young Supreme Wizard?” The elven enchanter asked, probably prompted by Anton’s disinterest.
When Anton just shrugged, he knew that it was probably a mistake because the elf suddenly looked stern.
“I’ve heard that you’re also an enchanter. Can you show me one of your items?” the elf asked.
Anton retrieved his wand from his inventory, which was the Death’s Fathom Dimensional Shard, and handed it to the old elf. The elf studied it for a couple of minutes, and soon, the elf’s eyes grew wide.
“Did you make this?”
Anton laughed and told the elf that he could create something like that; he would be truly powerful indeed.

“This is one of the most powerful items I’ve ever seen, but I did ask that you present something that you’ve made,” the elf said sternly.
“Forgive me, sir, but the items that I create were focused on easing the lives of users instead of combat items. When I started learning enchantments, I had a goal to focus more on making the lives of others easier instead of focusing on things that would cause bloodshed,” Anton told the old elven enchanter.
The old enchanters' expression grew softer. Anton knew that he had achieved his goal of easing the elf since he knew they valued pacifist views. Everyone knew that since Anton entered the forest, he mostly traveled without causing bloodshed, but they also knew that he was not a pure pacifist because his history was not a secret.
Anton did present some of the items that he had made that were left in his inventory. He showed his Frozen Orb air conditioner, his Fire Wall stove, the Fire Bolt lamp, and the Ice Bolt cup that turned ice bolts into mana water.
The old elf enchanter studied them for several minutes and admitted that he could not fathom how they were made. Anton told the elf that it was created using a different system of enchanting.
“Is that the reason why all of your items had that peculiar switch to turn them on or off?” the elf asked, and Anton simply nodded.
He could not tell the elf that he was embarrassed about that feature, since that was the only way for him to have the option to turn on or off his enchanted items. He still had not found any other option, mostly because he was not focused on creating enchanted items anymore. After that, they left the shop.
Anton noticed that the sun was going down. Soon it was time for them to go to the place where the new movie would be shown to the elves. All in all, Anton was satisfied with all of the things he managed to purchase that day. He only had 700,000 gold coins left in his inventory after his day of shopping. Thankfully, the other things that he ordered would be paid for with copies of movies instead of coins.
Enoril and the others had given him a couple of hours of rest time before seven in the evening, so he went to the guest house to rest for a bit. Anton spent the time watching short videos to rot his brain while waiting for Enoril to fetch him. He had to admit that some of the short videos were extremely funny.
Anton also consolidated all the recordings that he had of the forest elves. When he checked his account on the most famous streaming video website, he realized that his subscriber grew. By a lot. Everyone was fascinated by his ability to create CGI elves and other forest folks, and the netizens were wondering who he was since he was capable of spending that kind of money creating CGI-filled videos. He wondered if he should stop his recording from being automatically uploaded to his streaming account, but decided it did not matter. Everyone was thinking that his content was all fake anyway. On second thought, he decided to stop since he did not want to inadvertently upload sensitive content like explicit or graphic content, like him killing monsters or some such things.
After a while, Enoril and Leldorin arrived to fetch him. He was surprised that Leldorin was there. Apparently, the older elf gave the movie-watching that night some importance simply because the movie was a new one.
They went somewhere to eat first. While they were eating dinner, Leldorin started pestering him about The Lord of the Rings. Apparently, he wanted to be the one introducing the film to everyone.
Anton told Leldorin that everyone had already seen the trailers, so no further introduction was needed. When they arrived at the hall where the cinema was being shown, everyone was there already, even though there were still around twenty minutes before seven. He relented and gave a copy of some of the coolest introductions about The Fellowship of the Ring from the internet to Leldorin, and the elf's smile grew wide.
Enoril whispered to Anton that because of him, Leldorin’s reputation became extremely high.
