My Dominant Contract Husband Won't Let Me Go-Chapter 486: She Remembered Everything (8)
This woman, Dong Xin Yan, must have put a curse on him, otherwise, every time he meets her, he becomes uncontrollably unlike himself.
Yet, this kind of curse, he gladly indulges in.
Right now, he really regrets not going for it that afternoon. He’s kept himself chaste for Dong Xin Yan, and he’s done so for so long! What he regrets even more is saying that he’d respect her wishes if she was unwilling.
Now his mind is full of thoughts like whether she wants it or not, just pin her down first~
The more he thinks about it, the hotter his body becomes. Gu Ningyi curses silently, throws off the blanket, gets out of bed, and strides into the bathroom.
Gu Ningyi takes over half an hour in a cold shower, finally quelling the raging fire in his body, but doing so leaves him completely unable to sleep.
He checks the time; it’s just after four, still at least two hours until dawn, which means he has to endure a bit longer before he can see the woman causing a storm in his heart.
Yet, he’s already getting impatient.
Gu Ningyi struggles for only a few seconds before deciding to follow his heart. He dresses, grabs his wallet and car keys, and strides out the door.
When Gu Ningyi arrives at Dong Xin Yan’s apartment building once more, it’s just past five o’clock. The sky is still a dull gray. He looks up, and it’s pitch black there too.
She’s definitely still asleep, maybe even sleeping sweetly.
That carefree woman.
Gu Ningyi curses softly, but his cursing is filled with sweetness.
Coming here, strangely, his previously anxious heart feels as if it’s been soothed by something, gradually calming down.
Soon, he’ll be able to see her.
Gu Ningyi curls his lips into a smile, finally relaxes his body, leans back on the seat, and closes his eyes.

When Cheng Ziyang wakes up, a sliver of light is peeking through the horizon, yet the room remains dim. He slowly opens his eyes, his head still muddled, unsure of where he is.
His eyeballs turn stiffly for a moment before his vision clears, familiar surroundings coming into view, a look of confusion surfaces in his eyes.
This... isn’t this Xinxin’s room?
How did he end up here?
Wasn’t he... at the bar?
Cheng Ziyang thinks to himself, causing a stabbing pain in his head, he can’t help but let out a soft groan.
Dong Xin Yan, who kept vigil by the bed last night, doesn’t know how long she stayed there before she fell asleep leaning on the bedside. However, she remained in a light sleep, so Cheng Ziyang’s groan immediately woke her up.
Dong Xin Yan sits up suddenly and looks at Cheng Ziyang, her voice still tremulous from being startled awake, "Ziyang, you’re awake?"
The stabbing pain in his head makes Cheng Ziyang’s face look rather unpleasant. He suppresses it and nods slightly, his voice very hoarse, "Xinxin, how, how am I here?"
"You got drunk last night, and the bartender called me. I went to pick you up. In your condition, I couldn’t send you home, afraid that auntie would worry, so I brought you here."
Dong Xin Yan explains succinctly. Seeing his expression, a hint of worry emerges in her eyes, "Ziyang, how are you feeling now? Is your head very painful?"
"I’m alright, don’t worry."
Dong Xin Yan shakes her head, "Hangovers are uncomfortable. I’ll get you some medicine, wait a moment." With that, she gets up and walks out.
Cheng Ziyang still wants to say something but then closes his mouth, his head does hurt. He closes his eyes and leans back against the headboard. Suddenly, Dong Xin Yan’s phone on the bedside table makes a ding sound.
