The girl blinked her big eyes, her long eyelashes trembling with nervousness and distress, "Brother Yan, when you go to your new school, will you start liking other girls?"

"Really? You’re not lying to me?" the girl asked, both pleased and a little worried.

Xu Jiayan turned off the light. Before long, even breathing came from beside him.
He couldn’t help but smile.
He lay there with his eyes open, listening to the breathing beside him, but sleep still eluded him.
After who knows how long, the person beside him suddenly turned over in her sleep and mumbled, "Brother Yan, don’t like others, just like Yuanyuan, okay?"
Xu Jiayan felt a softness in his heart, he turned to face her, and could only see a vague silhouette in the darkness.

But at the sight of Jiang Yuan coming out of his brother’s room, his sleepiness was chased away, and his consciousness quickly became much clearer.
His eyelids stopped fighting and his vision cleared up.
Jiang Yuan, just waking up, looked like a little deer who had stumbled into the human world, and was startled by the sudden voice of Xu Jinyan, her eyes widening in surprise.
Once she realized what Xu Jinyan had said, she immediately retorted, "It wasn’t stealthy. Brother Yan agreed to let me in."
Young Master Xu snorted, "I don’t believe it, you must have snuck in while my brother was asleep again."
"Don’t believe it then!" Jiang Yuan, rubbing her sleepy eyes and just about to go back to her own room, was suddenly startled by the heavy dark circles on Xu Jinyan’s face.
