Returning to Jiang Yuan’s room, he discovered that the girl had actually locked the door.

"Thank you, Brother Yan. I’m fine now, go on and take care of your own things!" The girl quickly finished speaking after receiving the item and shut the door with a "bang."

Xu Jiayan stood in front of the door, staring at the girl’s room for quite a while before curling the fingers hanging by his side and flashing a faint smile.

"It’s okay, no one will know about your embarrassment." Xu Jiayan dug her out from under the covers and handed her a cup of brown sugar water, saying, "Drink this. You’ll feel better."

Jiang Yuan turned her head away, "I don’t want it, I don’t feel like drinking."

Her stomach hurt right now, and all she wanted to do was to lie stiffly in bed, not moving at all.

"Come on, this is brown sugar water. It’ll ease the stomach pain, won’t it?" Xu Jiayan coaxed softly.

"How would Brother Yan know that?" Jiang Yuan cast a skeptical glance at him. Did he secretly search it up on Baidu?
