My Blacksmith System: Transforming my Weapons into Beautiful Maidens-Chapter 22: Show down.
Chapter 22: Show down.
Rashin stood in front of Eri, his figure acting as a shield between her and the threat before him.
He tightly gripped his blades, his eyes focused as he felt the killing intent of the monsters.
They wanted to kill—nothing more, nothing less.
"Daki," Rashin called out. "I want you to stand guard near the priestess and protect her."
He issued his first command to his servant.
Daki bowed her head in obedience.
"W-Whaaat?! Who is this little girl?!" Eri shouted, taking a few steps back.
"That is irrelevant right now. Look in front of us. Those are the monsters we promised to rid from the earth, and you can bet they want the same for us. Focus. I do not plan on dying tonight, and neither should you." Rashin's voice was as hard as steel.
'There he goes again, being all serious when it comes to the Hakias. Not that I blame him.' Eri stylishly stole a glance at the girl standing in front of her. 'Where the hell did he find this girl? And what did he mean by protecting me?'
"Ahh, so you are the rumored human going around killing us—the Hakias."

One of the monsters finally spoke as he stepped out of the darkness.
He was a man, with two black wings flapping behind his back and a smile that could easily tear through the heart of anyone.
Behind him stood two others. Though they were also men, they had something different.
The first one had arms made entirely of water and ice, while the other had a head that burned with roaring flames.
[The system detects three enemies in your vicinity.]
Rashin was ready.
Every training he had endured was all so he could stand up for himself in a situation like this.
"So what? You followed my friend just to get revenge for your fallen? Funny. I never expected your kind to have emotions," Rashin replied.
"Don't be ridiculous. I was simply curious to know who this individual is. Oh dear me, you should have seen how the Hakias panicked when they found out there was someone who could kill me. They practically begged me to investigate." The man spoke, a small smile on his face, but not one that could be mistaken for friendly.
Rashin scoffed. "How many of you are there? Right now, on earth?" he asked.
"You know, I've been standing here for what—five minutes? And I could have sworn you haven't asked for my name once." The man frowned. "Do you seriously see me as that insignificant?"
"Huh?"
All it took was a single flick of the Hakia's wrist, and three powerful beams sped toward Rashin.
But it was all for nothing.
An automatic barrier, deployed by the king's servant, Daki, instantly appeared in front of Rashin, deflecting the attack back at the sender.
The man smiled after seeing this, sweeping all three of the lasers to the left side of the forest.
The explosion upon impact was large enough to completely destroy an entire building.
"I see. You were able to deflect my laser attack. You really are gifted, aren't you, young man?"
Rashin took a quick glance behind him. He knew that barrier was not his doing.
He noticed even Eri had been safely secured inside Daki's barrier.
'Good work, Daki. Just keep her protected so I can handle these bastards.'
The moment Rashin turned back, the Hakia had already arrived in front of him.
"Rouga Shanak..." the monster said.
Rashin's eyes widened in shock.
'How did it get so close so fast? I didn't sense it.'
Trying to leap back, Rashin was caught off guard when the man grabbed his hand and pulled him back to the ground.
"So rude. Are you not going to tell me your name?"
"Screw you!" Rashin spun his blade, channeling his White Cell Aura into it before preparing to stab the monster in the side of the head.
Instincts don't lie.
Rouga knew, in that moment, that if that blade touched his skin... he would die.
Pa!
He immediately released his hold on Rashin and leaped backward.
Rashin's attack missed, his face contorted with growing rage.
"Interesting... That aura... That's how you're able to kill the Hakias. That is quite impressive. I sure as hell know that's no power from God. Perhaps... the devil?"
Rashin gritted his teeth. "You say that like I should give a damn. I don't care where this power comes from. I'll use it to kill every single one of you bastards."
Rouga looked at his partners behind him, then back at Rashin.
"Oh wow. And they say we Hakias have the deepest hatred. We pale in comparison to this guy," he said aloud.
"Boss, can we just kill them already? The thought of them still being alive is eating me up from the inside."
"I agree. I do not understand why you speak to these low-life forms. We should exterminate them now."
The two Fallen Ones spoke.
"Kill, kill, kill. You guys need to cheer up a bit. There is something I would like to discuss with this individual. Besides, if you attack him without understanding the power he controls, you're sure to die," Rouga said to his people.
'So they have a brain to think? What a waste,' Rashin thought.
"Boy. Since you refuse to tell me your name, I will call you 'Boy.' Sounds good enough. How about we strike a deal before killing each other?"
Rashin felt genuine disgust. "What?"
"There are things you want to know about us, and there are things we want to know about you. Why don't we open up our hearts? The last one alive gets to keep all the secrets."
Meanwhile, inside the barrier...
'These guys look like bad news. I don't think Rashin can fight all three by himself...' Eri thought to herself.
Then, slowly, she tried speaking to Daki.
"Hey, open the barrier so I can come out. I need to help Rashin," she whispered.
