My beautiful CEO wife-Chapter 1608: Topple the Netherworld King
Dracula coldly said, "Don’t forget, everyone, in this matter, it’s either the Netherworld King dies, or we die. There’s no room for reconciliation! At this point, what is there to worry about?"
As soon as these words were spoken, several elders took a deep breath and then nodded coldly, decisively stating, "You’re right. For big things, we mustn’t worry about these illusory reputations."
Great Elder Zaren frowned and said, "But there is one problem, even if we leak this information to Rob III, will he believe it? At first, even we didn’t believe it, let alone Rob III!"
Dracula thought for a moment and said, "I’ll go."
"Hmm?"
Everyone was shocked upon hearing this.
He’s going?
Great Elder Zaren said in a deep voice, "Dracula, you must know, between our Blood Clan and the Werewolf Clan, the hatred runs deep. If you go, you might never return."
Dracula sneered and said, "It doesn’t matter, hmph, I know Rob III well, he’s a greedy guy. If he truly learns of the opportunity to take down the Netherworld King, he won’t pass it up. Plus, Rob III holds himself in high regard, once he believes it, he won’t hesitate but will act directly."
The other elders exchanged glances but didn’t say much, since it’s Dracula taking the risk alone, it doesn’t concern them, what’s there to fear.
"Good luck."
In the end, several elders said, then gradually left.
...
...
After ending this conspiracy meeting, Dracula left the Netherworld King City and headed alone into the Werewolf Territory.
He traveled stealthily and made his way to the front of the Werewolf Valley, lurked until nightfall, and then snuck into the valley without being detected by anyone.
Just like that, he approached Rob III’s palace.
"Stop!"
Upon arriving, Dracula heard a chilly voice.
"Haha, my dear Werewolf High Priest, have you forgotten your old friend?" Dracula immediately smiled, looking towards a spot.
The air slightly distorted, then a werewolf appeared, wearing priestly robes, looking quite aged.
Upon seeing Dracula, the High Priest frowned, a cold glint flashing through his eyes, and said grimly, "Dracula, what plot brings you sneaking into our Werewolf Territory?"
Dracula laughed, "High Priest, we’ve cooperated many times, how come you still don’t have a bit of trust in me?"
"Hmph." The High Priest snorted, saying, "State your purpose quickly!! Or don’t blame me for being rude."
Dracula restrained his smile and said, "Indeed, I have a purpose for coming here. I want to meet your Wolfman King, Rob III."
Upon hearing this, the High Priest sneered and said, "Who do you think you are? Our great Wolfman King isn’t someone you can meet just because you want to!"
Dracula chuckled, "If you don’t let me meet him, I bet Rob III will regret it, because this is his only chance to eliminate his lifelong enemy!"
The High Priest’s pupils slightly contracted, staring at Dracula for a long moment and then said, "Alright, I’ll believe you this once. If you dare deceive me, you won’t need me to act; our great Wolfman King will tear you to pieces."
Dracula smiled and said, "I dared to come alone because I’m fully prepared and genuinely sincere, so I’m not worried about your threat."
The High Priest snorted again, then said no more and turned to head deep into the great hall. The High Priest was gone for a long time without returning, but Dracula waited patiently, not anxious at all.
Based on his understanding of Rob III, he knew the latter wouldn’t endure his curiosity for long without coming over to find out more.
Sure enough, after about an hour, the High Priest emerged from the depths of the hall, expressionless, saying, "The great Wolfman King has decided to see you. Follow me inside."
Dracula smiled and nodded.
They traversed an extremely long passage, arriving at a grand hall. At the end of the hall stood a throne as grand and majestic as a mountain, upon which sat a young-looking man with deep, dark eyes.
Upon seeing this person, Dracula’s eyelid twitched slightly. Though the man hadn’t unleashed any power, Dracula felt an overwhelming pressure, an instinctual feeling.
"This is exactly how I feel when facing the Netherworld King; truly worthy of being the Wolfman King," thought Dracula, then he slightly bowed toward the terrifying figure on the throne, saying, "Elder Dracula of the Blood Clan, honored to meet Your Majesty Rob III."
"Hmm."
Rob III only nodded, "You said you have a chance for me to eliminate my lifelong enemy. What is it? Tell me."
Dracula smiled slightly and said, "Recently, I’ve learned a weakness of Lord Hades, a weakness that can bind the undefeated Netherworld King."
Rob III’s eyes slightly flickered, asking, "What weakness?"
Dracula Elder did not answer Rob III’s question, instead said, "If I reveal it, Your Majesty might not believe me, then what’s the point of saying it?"
"Humph!"
Rob III snorted coldly, a terrifying pressure surged from his body, overwhelming Dracula.
Dracula grunted, his face turned deathly pale, and his body slowly sank to his knees.
Dracula clenched his teeth against the immense pressure, his knees creaking and trembling, looking like he was struggling hard to resist.
Rob III coldly said, "Nobody dares to dangle secrets before me. If you don’t come clean, next time I’ll take your life."
With that, Rob III withdrew his pressure.
Dracula almost collapsed to the ground, it took quite a while before he could barely stand straight again, saying, "Your Majesty Rob III, you truly are formidable. Before you, I can’t withstand even a hint of pressure."
"Skip the nonsense." 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦
Rob III coldly said.
Dracula Elder was silent for a moment, then said, "During the full moon night, the Netherworld King will lose all his powers and transform into a human. That’s the best opportunity to kill him."
Rob III, who had been lounging lazily on the throne, suddenly had his pupils shrink and sat upright, staring at Dracula, exuding a terrifying aura.
"Are you telling the truth?!"
