My Antique Mirror Is A Portal To Another World-Chapter 634: Contacting Gui Ying
Lowering her eyes, Bai Hanyun fell into a deep thought.
’Could it be that our situation has something to do with the Yang Mirror and the Yin Mirror?’
She paused for a second, then clenched her hands tightly.
’That’s right. I haven’t heard anything from the Yang Mirror until now. I wonder how he is doing now. He should be able to escape from the imperial palace, right?’
Although she was filled with uncertainty and worries, Bai Hanyun forced herself to calm down.
Looking at Feng Xiyan through the phone, she smiled and replied, "Don’t worry, I’m fine. Brother Hua gave me a Yuan Pill, and all I need to do is get a little rest."
She paused briefly, then asked, "Feng Xiyan, you said you also fainted three days ago?"
"Yes." Feng Xiyan nodded. After thinking for a moment, he added, "I can’t contact the Yin Mirror. Did something happen three days ago?"
Based on her understanding of Feng Xiyan’s sharp mind, Bai Hanyun knew he must have already roughly guessed what had happened three days ago. Therefore, she decided to tell him the whole story.
"Yes. Three days ago, something went wrong when we went to assassinate the Jin Emperor."
The moment her words fell, worry flashed across Feng Xiyan’s eyes.
Seeing that he didn’t say anything, Bai Hanyun continued, "The assassination went smoothly, until the time I asked the Yang Mirror to open a teleportation portal."
Recalling what had happened that night, Bai Hanyun frowned slightly.
Noticing the slight change in her expression, Feng Xiyan couldn’t hold back any longer and asked, "Did something happen to the Yang Mirror at that time?"
Coming out of her memories, Bai Hanyun nodded, then shook her head.
"I’m not sure." She paused for a second, then said, "The Yang Mirror said that something was suppressing his power, causing him to fail to open the teleportation portal."
She frowned and worriedly added, "You know that the Yang Mirror’s main ability is controlling space. If even he failed to open a basic teleportation portal, that means his power was basically sealed away."
Feng Xiyan pondered her words, then commented, "If that is the case, there is no way we suffered from their power backlashes."
Looking at him, Bai Hanyun nodded in agreement, then explained, "The Yang Mirror said that there is a barrier covering the Jin Empire’s imperial palace, which stopped him from leaving that place. When we left the imperial palace, he was trying to break the barrier."
When Feng Xiyan heard what she said, realization flickered in his eyes, and he fell into deep thought.
Noticing this, Bai Hanyun asked with a hint of anticipation in her voice, "Feng Xiyan, do you know something?"
Feng Xiyan came out of his thoughts, looked at Bai Hanyun, and gloomily replied, "Something big must have happened to the Yin Mirror and the Yang Mirror, causing them to go missing. I guessed that they might be heavily injured or sealed away."
Hearing this, Bai Hanyun asked in surprise, "You also couldn’t contact the Yin Mirror? Isn’t the Yin Mirror staying in the Gui Clan’s secret realm?"
"Mhm." Feng Xiyan nodded in response. "The Yin Mirror’s disappearance should have a connection with the Yang Mirror’s situation. Unfortunately, we know nothing about their current situation and have no way to find out."
After he said that, Bai Hanyun rubbed her chin and muttered thoughtfully, "Since the barrier was meant to trap them, the Yang Mirror and the Yin Mirror should still be alive. But you are right. We need to find a way to contact them and find out their situation."
Agreeing with her, Feng Xiyan thought for a moment, then said, "We need to find someone who can help us with this matter."
The second his words fell, the two of them looked at each other and said at the same time, "Gui Ying."
After saying that, Bai Hanyun paused in realization, then groaned in disappointment.
"I forgot. We don’t have a way to contact him. Usually, it’s he who comes to find us."
Realizing this fact, Feng Xiyan fell into silence.
Just when the two of them were in a dilemma about how to contact Gui Ying, Feng Wu suddenly appeared before Feng Xiyan.
Kneeling on the ground, he clasped his fists and said, "Master, please forgive this subordinate for listening to your conversation with Fairy Bai without permission. However, this subordinate has a way to contact Young Master Gui."
Bai Hanyun overheard Feng Wu’s words through the phone, then quickly asked, "Feng Wu, can you really help us contact Gui Ying?"
Feng Xiyan looked at Bai Hanyun’s excited expression, then looked at Feng Wu and said, "Stand up first."
"Yes, Master."
After Feng Wu stood up, Feng Xiyan asked, "How do you contact Gui Ying?"
Feng Wu took out a round pendant made of some kind of white jade from his Qiankun Pouch.
Presenting the jade pendant to Feng Xiyan, he explained, "Master, this is a jade pendant given to this subordinate by Young Master Gui when we met him at the Yurong Border Pass Garrison. He said that we might need to find him in the near future."
Listening to his explanation, Feng Xiyan exchanged looks with Bai Hanyun, then asked, "How do we use this jade pendant?"
"Answering the Master. Young Master Gui said that we just need to drip a drop of blood onto the jade pendant," Feng Wu replied.
Receiving his answer, Bai Hanyun urged, "Feng Xiyan, hurry up and give it a try."
Knowing how urgent she was, Feng Xiyan nodded, then bit his fingertip without hesitation.
Drawing the blood out, he smeared it onto the jade pendant. The second the jade pendant absorbed his blood, it glowed brightly.
While Feng Xiyan, Bai Hanyun, and Feng Wu were staring at the jade pendant, far away in the Gui Clan’s secret realm, Gui Ying was in the middle of channeling his spiritual energy into the Yin Yang Mirror.
Sensing someone was calling for him, Gui Ying stopped what he was doing, then took out a jade pendant made of white spiritual jade.
