In the west of Namur City, I don’t know how long it took, a French infantry regiment responsible for supporting the northern city gate was almost wiped out. Less than 600 people survived this 2,500-man siege team. A dream, or it is difficult to fight with serious injuries.

This battle was Jean Doulde's first defeat since breaking through the French-Belgian border, and the defeat was so tragic that nearly one-third of his troops were directly lost.
