Mrs Fox Heinous Revenge: Can You Love A Villainess like Me?-Chapter 295: She’s the Killer!
When the housekeeper knocked on the door, she heard no sound in exchange. Sighing, she tried again, multiple times knocking on the door until she reached the end of her patience and was about to forcefully open the door when someone had pulled the door open, her face appearing slightly angered, as though she didn’t have time to spare for guests and was busy in the midst of something.
That face was none other than Jiang NianNian.
She stared at the housekeeper with a face erased from all the kindness she used to show, instead looking upset and mean, "What is it?" Her attitude in full display as she saw the old woman. "All of us are busy today."
"Busy for?" The housekeeper didn’t bother to greet with how rude NianNian was behaving.
"What do you need to know for? Whatever, go back. Leave the box with me and go back."
"But I can’t," the housekeeper snatched her box before NianNian could take it. "The madam warned me to give this directly to Mrs Jiang and Mr Jiang. I have a message to then read after."
Jiang NianNian huffed. Under her breath she then muttered, "You’re nothing but a damn housekeeper."
The housekeeper heard it loud and clear and was taken aback. Taken aback because never had Jiang NianNian became so openly rude, so openly with her attitude that clearly was the opposite to how she usually presented herself: lovely and sweet.
"Wait," demanded Jiang NianNian. She turned at her heels, marching inside the house while slamming the door in front of the housekeeper before she could enter.
Worried, the housekeeper waited for a while until the door opened again with now Mrs Jiang and Mr Jiang standing.
They crossed their arms, faced looking somewhat exhausted as though they were sweating from such a long run. They didn’t seem to be in the mood for guest, granted it was something the housekeeper could notice after seeing how no servants were running around the gate. It was late, sure, but wasn’t late enough for everyone to return to their bed.
"If you have something to say, say it here," mrs Jiang said which made the housekeeper irked.
How could this vicious woman always be so demanding? It didn’t help that Mr Jiang was like a dog, nodding and wagging his tail at his wife’s attitude when clearly the housekeeper had came under his mother’s order.
"Madam had me here to tell you a few things," the housekeeper cut short, while opening the letter inside the box and reading it toward the couple and Jiang NianNian. Now that she thinks about it, Jiang MengYao was nowhere to be found.
The housekeeper sighed and turned to the letter, "I will not be starting this with any greeting. To put it short, I as your mother and mother in law have decided that your treatment to Ailin is nothing short of abuse. As much as I wish to bring you two to police station for what you have done to a child, you are still my son and it’s with great difficulty do I make this exception. But do not take this as me falling a blind eye to your action. AiLin will be living with me forever now. To add that, she would also be inheriting my position. To teach lessons to people like you two is by giving power to the same person you have stepped upon. If I were to find out what you have done to harm her again, I will not hesitate to put you two behind bars." 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎
The faces of the couple after she had finished reading the letters were pale. Pale to the point that their faces were almost blue from the lack of oxygen.
"W- What is this about?!" Mr Jiang snapped.
"Ailin? No! The position was supposed to be inherited by MengYao. NOT HER!" Mrs Jiang snapped back, angrily trying to tear the paper from the housekeeper’s hands as though it was going to change what had been written by Grandmother LinLin.
"It is as it says," said the housekeeper, as curt as they were earlier. Now desperate, they have turned polite but what’s the use of it?
"Please tell us what this is about, housekeepr Xue," said Mr Jiang, "Mother... she doesn’t like AiLin, does she?"
"No one could have a full reason for hating a child, Master," said the housekeeper, "Had Grandmother LinLin been partial to AiLin or all her grandchildren? She had always treated them the same, cold, to put it simply and I think Miss NianNian is aware of it. But that is because she disapprove of the woman you choose as your wife, not the children’s fault."
"That woman," muttered Mrs Jiang angrily, "She always disapprove of me?! But what did I do?!"
"Abusing a child!" Housekeeper Xue yelled back, pointing her hand forward, "Tomorrow we will be bringing AiLin to Madam’s house. This sort of abuse shall never happen again!"
"Wait! Wait! WAIT!" Mrs Jiang yelled at housekeeper Xue who had turned back, forgetting to even give the prayer beads out of anger to how the whole family didn’t seem to bother defending themselves from their abuses. It wasn’t meant to be excused but the way all of them had seen it as something normal, they were mad. Mad!
Meanwhile after the door was closed, Mrs Jiang was full of rage.
She couldn’t believe the position MengYao has was going to be stolen by AiLin. No way!
"We don’t have a choice. We have to do it today," muttered Mrs Jiang to her husband and NianNian, "Once the doctor is done with the abortion from the servant quarter bring him here and abort the baby in Ailin’s stomach."
"But that’s going to kill her," mr Jiang said in a panic only for his wife to slap him across the cheek.
She glared at him, angry, "At least that way we could pretend that her death happened accidentally because of her own action! If she is dead, wouldn’t that be even better? This way, MengYao can get the position free from blame! That way he wouldn’t have it stolen by a dirty girl like her!"
