Chapter 751: Chapter 751: I’ll Invite You to My Wedding Next Month

Realizing Hannah’s predicament, Evan Sutton just sighed helplessly, then took off his jacket and handed it to Hannah, saying, "Put it on, it should cover you."

Hannah hesitated to reach out and take the jacket, feeling even more embarrassed.

While putting on the jacket, still carrying Evan Sutton’s warmth, she quietly said, "Thank you."

Evan Sutton pointed with his chin toward the outside hall and said, "Hurry back to eat, the food is getting cold."

Hannah looked down and buttoned up the jacket. Evan Sutton’s clothes, on her, appeared very wide and large, she rolled up the sleeves twice before her hands emerged. The length of the jacket covered her buttocks, this finally made her feel slightly relieved, as she followed Evan Sutton back to the restaurant.

She originally dressed up nicely to go on a date, but things didn’t go as planned, and she made a fool of herself in front of him again.

In the Lego shop.

Norman Sutton was staring through the gaps between the merchandise on the shelves, watching Lana Holloway and Lance Quincy on the other side selecting items.

There were quite a few customers in the store, and Lana Holloway and Lance Quincy were chatting quietly.

Norman Sutton couldn’t hear what they were saying, but seeing the smiles on their faces, they seemed to be having a pleasant conversation.

Moreover, both of them studied painting, so they must have endless topics to discuss in this area.

This woman, really, she isn’t selective with any man, behaving the same way she did with her previous blind date, playing outside with the guy until late at night on their first meeting.

Simply welcoming anyone! So shameless!

Just as Norman Sutton was pondering while watching them through the gap, suddenly he received a gaze from Lance Quincy through the crevices.

The two exchanged a glance, Lance Quincy seemed unsurprised, maintaining his smile, continuing to chat with Lana Holloway, then deliberately turned to walk away with her.

Norman Sutton cursed under his breath and followed, seeing Lance Quincy leading Lana Holloway up the stairs toward the second floor.

Norman Sutton was just about to follow when he saw Lance Quincy and Lana Holloway halt halfway up the stairs, both their gazes directed towards him.

Lance Quincy, knowingly asked Lana Holloway, "Do you know that guy? I’ve noticed he’s been following us all the way here."

Lana Holloway seemed to just notice Norman Sutton’s presence, frowned slightly, and explained to Lance Quincy, "He’s Audrey’s brother, probably just a coincidence."

Norman Sutton didn’t hide, simply turned back around and pretended to focus on selecting something from the shelf.

Lance Quincy chuckled, "A coincidence, huh? I thought he followed you here."

Lana Holloway forced a laugh, clearly knowing Lance Quincy was right; Norman Sutton’s strange behavior was indeed what he often would do.

Watching Lana Holloway and Lance Quincy disappear onto the stairs, Norman Sutton finally put down the items in his hand, hurriedly followed.

Arriving upstairs, just about to search for Lana Holloway, Norman Sutton bumped straight into Lance Quincy at the stairway.

Lance Quincy stood alone at the stairway, smiling at Norman Sutton, with an expression that showed no surprise, as if he anticipated Norman Sutton would follow him, purposely standing there waiting.

Norman Sutton awkwardly coughed, attempting to pretend not to know Lance Quincy and walk past him, but Lance Quincy called out to him, "If I remember correctly, you’re Norman Sutton, right?"

Norman Sutton halted, looking with disdain at Lance Quincy, responded, "What does it matter to you?"

Lance Quincy maintained his gentlemanly smile, leaning against the wall, looking at Norman Sutton, said calmly, "I just noticed you followed us down several streets, concerned for her?"

Norman Sutton snorted coldly, "What nonsense are you talking about? Who followed you? I’m even puzzled seeing you everywhere! Such bad luck!"

Lance Quincy feigned realization, "Oh," said leisurely, "I thought you liked Lana, and I thought I wouldn’t interfere, but since you say so, I’ll pursue Lana boldly. Honestly, she’s exactly the kind of girl I’ve dreamed of, exactly like my ideal partner."

Norman Sutton sneered, "Then you really have terrible taste." 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

Lance Quincy chuckled lightly, "Honestly, seeing you like this reminds me of a little boy in my kindergarten class."

Norman Sutton puzzled over what Lance Quincy meant, then Lance Quincy continued, "Liked a girl in class but always tried to bully her, grew up still the same, later regretted not pursuing that girl after she married."

Norman Sutton’s gaze flickered, then still spoke disdainfully, "Stop kidding yourself, she can marry whoever she wants!"

Lance Quincy, "Since you say so, I’ll be relieved. I’ll aim to invite you to the wedding next month."

With that, Lance Quincy smiled slightly, nodded to Norman Sutton, "I’ll head off first, Lana’s waiting over there."

Norman Sutton watched as Lance Quincy turned and walked away, he followed distantly, and saw Lance Quincy approached Lana Holloway, who pointed at something on the shelf, chatting and laughing with Lance Quincy. Watching the situation between them, along with Lana Holloway’s eagerness to wed, probably won’t even wait until next month.

The more he thought, the more fuming he felt, Norman Sutton viciously glared at Lana Holloway, turned and left the Lego store.

Even though he left, his mind was filled with thoughts about Lana Holloway.

He even imagined Lana Holloway wearing a wedding dress, walking into the marriage hall with Lance Quincy...

"Hey? Six? Where are you going so angrily?"

Norman Sutton looked up at Audrey Sutton and Phoebe King approaching, wearing a sulky expression indicating he was aggravated by everything around him, "Don’t bother me!"

Audrey Sutton and Phoebe King exchanged a smile, Phoebe King glanced at Norman Sutton storming off, whispered, "Looks like Lance Quincy put in effort, with good results."

Flora Lane teased, "With Six like this, he’ll probably never find a spouse."

Barry Barrett, "Flora, have Mor give him some lessons, teach him the right way to court girls."

Laura Yates, "Actually, Lance Quincy and Lana seem like a good match too, if Six doesn’t change his ways, Lana will become someone else’s wife sooner or later."

Phoebe King, "I initially asked that guy over just to help out, but now it seems he genuinely likes Lana, she’s practically vanished."

Audrey Sutton, "These things can’t be forced, it depends on what Lana herself thinks; even if Six isn’t competent, we can’t help him. Besides, Lance Quincy is a good guy, it would be nice if he could win over Lana, it’ll also serve as a lesson for Six."
