Mr. Sterling, Mrs. Sterling is Multifaceted!-Chapter 193: Seraphina’s Cooking Skills
Seraphina paused for a moment, instinctively wanting to resist, but then remembered he was injured and refrained.
Ethan Sterling firmly held onto Seraphina, kissing her lips, slowly and gently capturing her senses. She soon felt her body soften.
Seraphina stood by the bed, leaning over Ethan, her hand resting on the headboard.
She looked at Ethan, her eyes full of disapproval, while his eyes were filled with desire, his breathing heavy.
His hand caressed Seraphina’s back, moving downward provocatively. Seraphina shivered from his touch, struggling to lift herself from Ethan’s lips, looking into his eyes as she spoke: "The porridge is cold now."
"It’s fine."
After saying this, Ethan wanted to close the distance again and kiss Seraphina.
"The doctor said... it’s not allowed." Seraphina sat up from the bed, creating some space between them.
Hearing this, Ethan raised an eyebrow at Seraphina: "I think it’s fine."
Did he not know his own body?
Seraphina looked at Ethan’s expression, exasperated, as Ethan gazed at her deeply. He leaned up, biting the collar of her shirt, showing no intention of stopping.
Seraphina suppressed the urge to press Ethan’s head back into the pillow, speaking up: "I cooked something, if it gets cold it’ll be wasted, let’s not mess around for now."
Just so eager to showcase his skills?
Ethan smirked mischievously, releasing Seraphina’s collar and gently licking it: "Okay, I’ll... eat."
What does this pause mean?
This guy can really flirt in any situation.
Seraphina carefully lifted Ethan from the bed, took a soup bowl from the bedside cabinet, and handed it to Ethan, giving him a spoon: "Have some, I’ve heard this soup is good for your health."
Ethan glanced at Seraphina’s actions, was she planning to let him do it himself?
What a little heartless creature.
Ethan expressionlessly reached out for the spoon and soup. He attempted to scoop some up but couldn’t, and the spoon simply fell back into the bowl.
Ethan took a deep breath, his eyes filled with pain and defiance, his voice was extremely hoarse: "I can’t, it hurts too much."
Seraphina was speechless.
Why didn’t he mention the pain when he was kissing her just now?
She looked at Ethan, trying to discern if he was faking it.
Even if he was pretending, what could she do? After all, he did get injured for her sake, so she took the bowl back and said: "Give it to me."
"Alright."
Ethan reluctantly agreed.
Seraphina fed Ethan a spoonful of soup, and as the spoon approached, Ethan, who had been keeping his lips tightly shut, opened his mouth and took it in.
The warm soup entered, and Ethan’s expression immediately changed.
He looked at Seraphina, laughing joyfully: "I thought you were a genius at everything, turns out there are things you can’t do."
This soup is truly beyond description in terms of taste.
Upon hearing this, Seraphina’s expression stiffened for a moment: "Is it bad?"
"Mhm."
Ethan mercilessly spoke to Seraphina: "I’ve noticed that although you love eating, your taste isn’t that great. You always love overly sweet things, like strawberry candies and desserts."
What Ethan said was indeed true.
"When I was little, all the delicious and fun things in the Redgrave Family belonged to Mia. Mia would always ask me if I knew how good or sweet this was."
Seraphina smiled lightly, speaking softly: "Later, when I went to the forbidden zone, even salt had to be made by oneself. Forget about any other condiments, surviving was already quite an achievement, so who would think about making something delicious? Therefore, I don’t really have a talent for discerning fine foods, sweet is enough."
Ethan leaned against the headboard, his amber eyes looked into Seraphina’s clear eyes, listening to her speak gently.
Sweet is enough.
The requirements are really low.
Ethan looked at Seraphina with warmth, his voice very low: "As long as you become my woman, I’ll let you taste all the world’s delicacies."
She knew Ethan wasn’t joking.
She smiled: "I’ll pour this soup out, let Nathan find someone to make you something."
Saying that, she sat up, but Ethan grabbed her wrist.
"Did I say I wouldn’t drink it?" 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦
Ronan wasn’t happy looking at Seraphina for pouring out the soup.
"Why?"
It was said to be bad, so why not let it be poured out?
"I want to drink, is that not allowed!" The man argued confidently, "I just want to drink it!"
Such a stubborn man.
Seraphina had to pick up the bowl again and started feeding Ethan the soup.
Maybe it was just too exhausting being injured, but Ethan actually finished all the soup and porridge that Seraphina made.
After eating, Seraphina looked at the medicine Dr. Goodwin had left, then took them out one by one to feed Ethan.
Seraphina was almost entirely enveloped in Ethan’s scent, her palm tingling as well.
After taking the medication, Ethan finally quieted down, and due to the side effects of the medicine, he lay on the bed and soon fell asleep.
Seraphina sat nearby watching Ethan; his face was pale, and he was indeed severely injured.
She reached out to brush aside Ethan’s hair from his forehead, placing her hand on his face, noting there was no fever.
She covered Ethan with a blanket, then walked to the desk to open her phone.
She always had two phones, one was exclusively used to contact Ethan, with no other contacts, and the other was her personal one.
The Defiance Society had a group chat, and it was currently very lively.
She clicked out to see, and it was all unread messages.
Too lazy to scroll through the messages, Seraphina directly looked at the latest ones.
"Ronan: Hold on, the tech center is already reviewing the surveillance. As soon as I get any info on Seraphina, I’ll immediately inform you. If they dare to stop me, I’ll have my brothers blow up the tech center!"
"Beatrice Fawcett: I’m already at the police station entrance, I’ll tell the police to file a case right now."
"Rory: So annoying, we’re almost there, you must find Seraphina."
Fearing she might disturb Dr. Goodwin’s surgery, Seraphina had put her phone on silent. The group chat was already on do-not-disturb mode, and now, The Defiance Society had done nothing for two hours, busy just looking for her.
She scrolled back through a few hundred messages, none of which was about celebrating a win, all of them were worrying about whether she was okay.
Today, she received a lot of concern.
Seraphina sent a message to the group.
"Seraphina: I had something to do today, forgot to tell you all."
"Beatrice Fawcett: !"
"Ronan: !"
"Rory: !"
The neatly organized lineup, a neat row of exclamation points, made it seem as though she was the leader of an online cult, appearing and causing everyone to lose their own thoughts, starting to build skyscrapers of exclamation marks.
"Beatrice Fawcett: Are you really okay? We need to make sure you weren’t kidnapped by someone, can you take a picture and send it to us? We need to know you’re really safe."
This Beatrice Fawcett, she’s serious about everything. Previously, in the garden, it was she who stood against Seraphina, and now it’s she who thinks Seraphina is safe enough.
