Chapter 1062: Chapter 1058: Seeking Help from Nicholas Croft

Half an hour later, Beatrice Hargrave stood in front of Titus Zane’s room. As soon as Titus opened the door, she rushed in, hugging her shoulders and complaining about the cold, her cute manner made Titus laugh uncontrollably.

"Darling, how can you not know to wear a coat in such cold weather?"

"I got into an argument with my sister and ran out in a huff." Beatrice slumped her shoulders. Although she was upset, she didn’t mention her quarrel with Josephine Hawthorne. Seeing Titus wearing only a thin nightgown, the two prominent rises on her chest, she couldn’t resist reaching out and touching them, giving a playful squeeze and saying with a giggle, "They feel amazing... Nicholas is really lucky,"

...

After fooling around with Titus for a while, Beatrice didn’t want to pretend to be innocent anymore. Feeling down, she wanted to use alcohol to drown her sorrows.

"Sister Titus, do you have any wine here?"

"Greedy girl," Titus teased with a smile, went to the wine rack, and came back with a bottle of red wine. The two women nestled on the sofa, sipping wine and chatting.

Although Titus had an early flight to catch the next day, Beatrice was in a bad mood, and as a big sister, she could only keep her company.

Meanwhile, in the Hargrave family villa, Henry Hargrave paced back and forth in the living room with his hands behind his back, occasionally glancing at the clock. It was almost midnight, and Beatrice hadn’t returned yet. Knowing she didn’t have many friends in T City and went out without her wallet, Henry couldn’t help but feel worried. Although he wasn’t particularly fond of Beatrice, she was still his daughter.

"Hannah, call her again." Henry stopped and looked at his daughter leaning on the sofa. Before Hannah could pick up her phone, Josephine Hawthorne scoffed in disapproval.

"What’s the point? We’ve called her so many times and she hasn’t answered. She’s not a child; she won’t get lost!" She said, getting up and turning to her daughter on the other sofa, "Hannah, it’s late. Go to bed; you have work tomorrow."

Hannah glanced at her father and stood up, following her mother to their rooms to rest.

Watching the backs of mother and daughter, Henry walked to the phone. Since Beatrice returned, she’d been closest to Nicholas Croft. Picking up the phone, he called Nicholas to ask if Beatrice had contacted him.

As it approached midnight, Nicholas was already resting. His phone by the bed kept ringing. Groggily, he grabbed his phone without checking the number and answered.

"Hello, who’s this?"

"Nicholas, it’s me. I wouldn’t disturb you so late, but Beatrice hasn’t come home. I wanted to ask if she’s called you?"

Hearing Beatrice wasn’t home, Nicholas’s sleep disappeared instantly. He shot up from his bed, his drowsy eyes becoming much clearer, "What? What happened to Beatrice?"

"Oh, nothing really, just the two sisters had a little quarrel and she stormed out..." Henry chuckled, knowing Nicholas had brought Beatrice home before, and asked tentatively, "Nicholas, has she called you?"

Nicholas glanced at the time on his phone and ignored Henry’s question, asking seriously instead, "Mr. Hargrave, when did this happen?"

"Oh, just this evening," Henry replied evasively, "Beatrice is really stubborn. She won’t answer my calls, and it’s so late that I’m really worried..."

"Mr. Hargrave, if it’s okay, let’s hang up now. I’ll try calling Beatrice,"

"Alright, Nicholas, thank you," Henry feigned politeness, his reason for calling Nicholas was indeed to ask him to help find Beatrice.
