Mr.CEO Looks Exactly the Same as My Son!-Chapter 909: I Have Something to Tell You
Gong Shaoyu heard her words, his eyes lowered slightly, then stood up, walked back to the bedside, and lay down directly. Mainly because his stomach was aching now, he really had no strength to speak.
His eyes closed slightly, seemingly asleep but not asleep.
Lan Shan sat on the sofa, staring blankly at her ankle that still held the warmth of his hand, then stepped onto the cold floor, poured a glass of water, and walked to the bedside, "Get up and take your medicine first."
Gong Shaoyu turned his head to one side and very ungraciously turned his back to her.
Why did she never notice before how strange his temper was?
Coldness seeped through her soles in waves, making her shiver all over. Holding her patience, she spoke again, "Get up and take your medicine."
Seeing his indifferent demeanor made her feel as if a fire was knotted inside her, desperately wanting to find an outlet. Perhaps it was due to being pregnant, but she found herself particularly irritable.
"Lie on the other side of the bed," Gong Shaoyu said lightly, not turning around or intending to take the water cup from her hand.
"Why lie down? I asked you to get up and take your medicine."
Gong Shaoyu: "The floor is cold, it might chill my son later."
Lan Shan: "...." 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂
Looking down, she glanced at the top of her foot, pursing her lips slightly, momentarily unsure of what to say.
"Just place the water cup over there, I’ll take it later. Lie down over there, don’t catch a cold."
In his heart, Gong Shaoyu was a bit upset that she hadn’t told him she was going to abort the child, while also angry at himself for not realizing his feelings sooner. If Shanshan hadn’t suddenly changed her mind, their child would really be gone, and he and Shanshan would have been entangled forever.
Lan Shan stood there, unmoving.
He turned over, glanced at her, lifted the quilt, got out of bed, and despite his stomach discomfort, bent down and picked her up, heading towards the other side of the bed.
Lan Shan was so startled she nearly cried out, her stomach churned due to his sudden action, making her almost vomit, but fortunately, she held it in.
"What are you doing? Put me down," she said with furrowed brows, displeased.
"Standing there not moving, weren’t you waiting for me to pick you up?"
When had she ever wanted him to pick her up? Although she had thought about it before, just now she truly hadn’t.
She was just lost in thought, momentarily distracted, it wasn’t how he made it sound.
Just as she was about to retort, he had already placed her down on the bed, pulled the quilt over her, "Close your eyes and sleep."
She had only just woken up, how could she fall asleep?
Propping herself up on her arms, about to sit up, Gong Shaoyu suddenly leaned in close, "Be good, sleep."
Perhaps because his tone was too gentle at that moment, Lan Shan once again lost her focus. Once upon a time, she had hoped fervently to be treated so tenderly, and now that it was happening, it felt a bit unreal.
Instinctively reaching out, she grabbed a corner of his hospital gown, clinging onto it tightly, unwilling to let go, as if if she loosened her grip even a little, he would run away.
Gong Shaoyu pried her hand away, and upon seeing the mist in her eyes, felt a sudden pain in his heart. He reached out and ruffled her hair, "Rest first, once I’m discharged, there’s something I need to tell you."
He wanted to express his feelings to Shanshan, but knew he couldn’t do it in the hospital. Now that they had a child together, there were things that needed careful planning.
