I went to the store where the twins were, and I landed, and also made the umbrella in my hand disappear.

Drops of water were escaping from my clothes and dropping on the floor. Actually, before I made an umbrella appear, the rain had already soaked my clothes a little bit.

"Sister?". They looked up at me, before one of them said to me and his face looked like he could not believe that I was the one standing in front of them.

Seeing them now, combined with the hopeful look in their eyes, I understood one thing. It was not their fault.

They were not the ones at fault. It was not their fault that they were born.

If anything, they deserved justice. And thinking about it, I felt very guilty for ignoring them and not wanting to associate myself with them.

It was very satisfying, foreign, and made me feel connected to them, even though I had not gotten to know them.

Was this what they called, ’Siblings bond?’. If this was it, now it made sense.

I had heard about the werewolf ’Siblings bond’ before. But because I had never experienced it myself, I did not fully believe it, until now.

We separated from the hug. More like it was them who stopped hugging me.

"Sorry. My brother and I were not thinking when we hugged you". The twin with golden hair and red eyes like mine, said to me. But what did I do next?

I hugged them again, because I wanted to feel the same wave of emotions I had felt.

It was soothing. I don’t think I remember the last time I felt so peaceful.

Oh, did I forget? My parents’ embrace was like this.

Unfortunately, they did not believe me, they chased me away, and broke my heart so much. But, if I were in their shoes, I would have probably done the same thing as them. So, I don’t blame them for not believing me and accepting me as Clara Hensley... their daughter.

The more I even think about it, I felt bad for them, because I could only guess how sad and sour they felt when I came to them and claimed to be their deceased daughter. Me.

I stopped hugging the twins, and they looked surprised when staring at me. I bet they didn’t expect me to return their hug.

"Sister, I thought you didn’t want to see us and hated us. Do you mind me asking why you are here?". The twin with blue hair and blue eyes asked me.

"Before that, what are your names?". I asked them, because I couldn’t keep on calling them twins forever. I ought to know their names.

"I am Caden".

"And I am Chase".

They replied to me.

So, the twin with golden hair and red eyes is Caden, while the twin with blue hair and blue eyes is Chase.

"Chase, as for your question, I don’t hate either of you. It’s my fault for not thinking things straight. As for why I am here, I need your help. My Aunt. I mean, our aunt... she is dying. My blood is not a match for her. And I think your blood might be-".

"We are going to come with you". Caden said to me. He didn’t even let me finish talking, and he easily agreed to help Aunt Penelope.

Even his twin brother, Chase, did not disagree with him and looked ready to go with me to the shadows’ pack to save Aunt Penelope.

"But, you are going to help us with a favor. We left the house without informing our mother, and our cell phones’ batteries died. Could you please call our mom and tell her that we are with you?". Caden requested, and I nodded at him, even though I was surprised by what he said. 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎

How could they bear to leave their home in this dangerous time without informing their mother about it? She must be worried sick.

I took out my cell phone from my pocket. It was a little bit wet, but luckily, it was water resistant.

Caden called his mother’s number for me since I didn’t have the number.

After coding the number, I called her and put the call on a loudspeaker on purpose.

It had not even been up to five seconds that the call went through, and Luciana picked up the call.

"Caden, Chase, are both of you calling me from a different phone number?". Her hurried voice came through, making me look at Caden and Chase, but they turned their faces away from me, because they were aware that they were guilty of making their mother worried.

"Hello, it’s me, Anastasia, Aunty". I said to her, and heard her gasp. Honestly, calling her Aunty felt hard, but because of her twins, I did not want to continue being mad at her.

"Anastasia?". She asked.

"Yes. I am calling to tell you that your twins, Caden and Chase, are with me. I am taking them with me to the shadows’ pack. And, as the current Alpha of the shadows’ pack, I declare that you are no longer banished from the shadows’ pack and can return whenever you want". I said to her, before adding, "We can talk later. I have something important to do".

I hung up the call.

"Let’s go". I said to Caden and Chase, and snapping my fingers, we teleported.
