Four hours had passed, but me and Doctor Jonathan’s efforts had been in vain.

We had not yet found the blood that matched Aunt Penelope’s blood type, and as more seconds and minutes passed by, I grew anxious and feared the worst for her.

"No. This can’t end like that. I won’t allow it to end like that. I should have been the one who killed that bastard for doing that to Aunt Penelope. I should have ripped his heart out and fed it to the vultures to appease my anger because of what he had done!". I declared, with my breath getting heavy.

"Alpha Anastasia?". Doctor Jonathan called me, but I didn’t answer him.

I felt my eyes getting bloodshot, and I had this thought in my mind to return to the wild forest, find that bastard’s lifeless body, and finish the job perfectly. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚

’Hey. Calm down, you! Be clear headed, Clara! Do you want to lose control of yourself and make things worse?!’.

’I can not believe that I am always the one who tells you to calm down. What am I? Your mother or what?’. Elektra raised her voice at me as she scolded me.

She sounded frustrated and fed up with me.

Her words made me behave and calm down a little bit.

’Alright, Elektra, since you want me to calm down, do you perhaps know of a solution? Aunt Penelope is dying. I can’t let her die’. I mind linked her and asked.

’The same as me. I don’t want her to die. But if you were clear headed like me and stopped being angry and stopped panicking, then you would remember that we have twin brothers who share the same blood as our father, the Alpha! Maybe one of their blood types is going to be a match for Aunt Penelope’.

’You might not want to involve yourself with them, but you must, in order for us to save Aunt Penelope’s life’. She concluded, and my eyes widened.

I was surprised.

Why didn’t I think about the twins?!

Elektra was right.

I am not clear headed, but I was angry and panicking, as if getting angry or panicking was going to help me with anything.

What was even wrong with me?

"Alpha Anastasia. Are you alright?". Doctor Jonathan asked me, and I looked at him.

He looked worried.

"I will be right back. There is somewhere I have to go". I said to him and teleported off before he could reply to me.

In a flash, I found myself at the Diamond heart City. Outside the hotel I once rented, but had left.

Surprisingly, rain was falling over here in the diamond heart City, and pouring on my head, down to my feet.

I never expected the rain, so it caught me off guard.

I let out a cough, before I coughed three times in a row. I think I must have caught a cold.

But I thought werewolves were strong? I guess they were not indestructible.

’Go inside the building, Clara. Do you want to catch a cold?’. Elektra asked me, but I already felt that I had caught the cold that she was talking about. I teleported inside the hotel, outside my hotel room, while hoping that, somehow, the twins had not left but remained outside my hotel room.

But, was that not unrealistic?

Anyway, I arrived in front of the door of my hotel room, but I did not see any of the twins there. I had expected that to happen, but was it very weird that I was hoping inside my mind that they had not left?

"Where am I going to start looking for them?". I said to myself, and rather than being angry, I remained calm and thought about ways to locate them easily.

But where were they when I needed them the most?

Ah ha!

"Elektra, after I passed out the time I was healing the Lycan King, you were awake, right? Did you happen to capture in your memory Luciana’s house after we were taken there?". I asked her.

’Is Aunt Penelope’s condition making you have amnesia, Clara? I thought I had told you before that after you absorbed the dark liquid crystal from the Lycan King’s body, I strangely passed out despite being in the abyss?’. She said to me, but why must she be mean with her words?

What did I even expect from her? That was how she had always been.

Since I was not ready to argue with her. Actually... I did not have the time to argue with her.

So, since I did not have the time to argue with her, I teleported out of the hotel and found myself flying up in the air.

I enhanced my vision using my light magic, and began to search for the twins, not minding the rain that was soaking my body.

’Are you trying to tell me that you can’t make an umbrella appear using your light magic? Or are you just showing off, or are you enjoying the rain, Clara? Tell me which one it is’. Elektra said to me.

For some reason, she was more reasonable and sensible than me today. I must really be confused. I made an umbrella appear in my hand using my light magic, and opening the umbrella and shielding myself with it from the rain, I continued my search for the twins.

It had been up to twenty minutes, and I gasped almost in disbelief after I sensed two familiar presences.

I knew who the two familiar presences belonged to, causing me to smile.

Staring in the direction of where the scents were coming from, I used my enhanced vision to look closer. And there, I saw them. The twins, with their identical faces and different hair colors.

They were sitting in front of a closed store and were shielding themselves from the rain.

That was just my guess.

But judging by the look on their faces, they looked quite disappointed.

Without needing to guess this one, I knew it was because of me that they were disappointed, since I had refused to meet them when they came to me.

Though it was funny how fate plays with a person.

One second, they were the ones who came to me, and the next second, I was the one going to them.

Was that not truly hilarious?
