Her fangs pierced through Olivia's shoulder and pinned her in place.
The light woman moved.

Her skin was unnaturally pale. Blood ran from her temple to her chin.
Her eyes were pitch black.
She did not look angry. She only stared at them calmly.
Alex's eyes tightened. "I know it. She's not Olivia."
"Don't we already decide that?" Mingyue asked, watching at the scene.
Alex did not respond.
Even with all the clues, different eyes, different personality, and her strength, he still kept a sliver of doubt.
His ability always did this to him.
It showed him every possibility, then left him stuck with the worst one.
Knowing too much felt like a curse. It never gave peace, it only gave more trouble.
With Olivia held in Lolth's main body, the light woman stepped in and raised her blade, trying to behead her.

Her aura flared.
Dark fire erupted from her body and exploded outward, burning everything into nothingness.

Her armor was covered in black flame now. She raised caliburn and charged straight at Lolth's face.
Lolth did not move at all.
Olivia's sword was an inch from her face.
A flash of lightning cut through Olivia.

Saryx appeared, his claw already piercing through Olivia's old wound.
His scales hissed when they touched the dark flame, but he did not loosen his grip.
"You damned lizard," Olivia said, turning her head to impossible angle.
It's like seeing a horror movie.
Saryx stared her down. "Now. You two vampires!!"
Alex and Mingyue looked at each other and nodded.
They still did not trust Lolth.
But this chance would not come twice.
Alex appeared in front of Olivia.
A warhammer formed in his hand, forged from the soul of one of his beasts. This time it was more solid, heavier, and wrapped in white flame.

He smashed it into Olivia's chest.
Mingyue appeared at the same time, twin ice swords in her hands. She dashed in to decapitate Olivia.
Everything happened at once.
Saryx kept her pinned.
Alex's hammer came down.
Mingyue's blades came down.
Olivia's eyes widened, then she smiled.
Her black flame surged.
It exploded out from her back and shoulders, then shaped itself into multiple huge arms.
BAM!!! BAM!!!
Two arms slammed upward and knocked Mingyue's swords.

Another arm struck Alex's hammer head-on and blasted him backward.

A fourth arm smashed into Saryx's claw, forcing his grip to loosen. Lightning scattered, and he slapped it aside like it was nothing.
All three of them got pushed back at the same time.
Olivia floated there, surrounded by those dark arms like a throne.
"Bunch of pests."
Her gaze locked onto Mingyue.
Her eyes were still cold, but something changed.
It filled with Malice.
Like Mingyue had killed her parents.
Mingyue's grip tightened on her twin swords.
Olivia leaned forward.
The dark arms pushed her body forward like a launcher.

She shot straight at Mingyue.
"You," Olivia said, voice low. "You remind me of something I hate."
Mingyue's eyes narrowed.
She was confused, but know it's waste of breath to ask her why.
She just raised both swords and met her.

Mingyue crossed her blades and caught the first strike.
The impact crushed nearby debris into powder.
Olivia's dark arms struck again.

One arm came from above like a hammer.
Another arm came from the side like a whip.
Mingyue twisted and cut.

The frozen part shattered.
But the flame reformed instantly and came again.

She slipped one step to the side and tried to take Olivia's neck.

Then she rushed again.

A dark arm folded inward like a shield and took the hit.
The blade cracked.
The flame shuddered.
Olivia's eyes widened for a lmoment.
Then the arm grabbed Mingyue's sword.

It yanked her forward.
Olivia's knee slammed into Mingyue's stomach.
Mingyue's body folded, and she spat another blood.

Mingyue's eyes narrowed, anger flashing for the first time. "Who do you think you are?"
Olivia's dark arms lifted again.

They slammed down, aiming to crush Mingyue.
Alex's white-flamed warhammer flared.
He moved at last, charging in to help Mingyue.
Saryx's lightning roared again, preparing to strike.
And Olivia's dark arms expanded wider, ready to swat both of them away while she finished Mingyue first.
