MMORPG: Rebirth Of The Strongest Assassin-Chapter 51: Brutal Dungeon
"Those people are truly lunatics and instantly knew that Legends was risky to bet everything on and bet against it instead," Yone sighed as he stood up and went to his living room, and sat on the sofa.
Such a thing never occurred before cause Legends never lost, but he still could more or less comprehend that it’s normal not to get that much return by only betting a measly hundred dollars.
Thinking this much, he pushed those thoughts to the back of his mind and opened the TV. He was truly curious about Legends’ announcement and their reaction to losing both World First and Southern Region, the two regions first to clear the dungeon.
A press conference was going on with the guild master, who was a young man titled Black wearing a fancy suit, answering several questions.
"Do you have any comments on the recent double news of losing both the world first from the northern region, to an unknown party, and also in the southern region?" A journalist asked the main question directly without any openings.
Black scrutinized the guy and printed him on his memory as he replied with a smile," It’s normal that we lost, only our bottom legions were sent to play Eclipse Online and test the waters there. Still, even I was surprised by the level of players on Eclipse Online and didn’t expect such a loss hehe, truly several talented people are showing up nowadays."
"Are you saying that Legends will take this more seriously and send another legion in?" Another reporter asked, and he was ecstatic as he knew this would be the headlines of his next newspaper.
"We are taking this more seriously indeed, as for the legion sent. I will leave that as a surprise for everyone when they find out about them later on, it will be in the global announcement on the Eclipse Online forum."
Right after saying so, Black stepped down the platform and ended the press conference, his body relaxed and a smile attached to his face as if he truly didn’t mind losing this once.
’I wonder who will send, is it the third legion once again or the second one this time around?’ Yone speculated. Such an event was supposed to happen after Legends struggled with Death Stone and the raid opening at level 10, but it was happening way sooner than it was supposed to be.
’Also, that party, who are they exactly?’ Yone had many questions, but getting such answers wasn’t a matter of asking them, but finding out yourself after getting stronger. Hence, he ignored it and picked up his phone to call his mother.

In front of the Death Stone Dungeon, the number of players at level 2 was increasing over time, with some even reaching level 3. Everyone was either diving into the dungeon, waiting for their party to dive in, or had just finished diving in and was relaxing outside.
Given this flock of players that is almost 80% of the player base inside of Crystallized Stone Town inside one dungeon, many players had taken the chance and left the town and fountain halls and decided to build their stalls in front of the dungeon instead.
"Common equipment for sale that is only found on Death Stone, come buy it before you lose your chance. Goes for 20 copper for each item."
"Health potions for sale, everyone. This is only found on Death Stone, and its effectiveness is 2 to three times better than the ones sold on the town’s several NPC shops."
Eclipse Online had been open for over fourteen hours now, and almost everyone was at level 2. People who were level 3 and 5, like the top guild’s few top experts, were merely an anomaly and not the norm.
Given the the endless grinding of those players and spending all this time grinding non-stop since they were basically still asleep in real life with their body and mind resting, all of them had killed a lot of monsters and had a lot of items on top of them so they took the chance to sell it all out in such a prosperous place.
Funnily enough, despite the increasing number of players outside the dungeon, players who chose to enter the dungeon were going down lower and lower by the minute.
Each wipe would make a party and several other dozen players even more convinced that the Death Stone dungeon could not be beaten on anything other than easy mode.
Indeed!
Even after ten hours of Death Stone opening, none of the parties, whether the small guilds or top guilds, Legends, or any of their competitors, managed to clear it in anything above easy mode.
Repeatedly dying and losing their hard-earned EXP without any chance of defeating the dungeon, countless players gave up. As a result, only a few parties, unaware of the Death Stone terrors, dared to enter out of ignorance.
It was simply that terrifying of a dungeon!
Currently, in the Resurrection Graveyard of the Death Stone, six streaks of white light flashed. In the next moment, six figures appeared from within the white light when it faded.
"There is just no way to clear this Dungeon, Hell. Let’s go level up and try again once we reach level 6 or 7. We are getting lower on EXP, and we are losing more and more that even those brats who entered with Requiem are already at the top 10 levelers in the kingdom."
Clean Shot said. He was truly downcast as he had just totally given up trying to clear normal and hard mode.
It’s funny because, in normal mode, they couldn’t clear the last boss no matter what they did. His teleportation skill was undodgable, and they kept losing their healer and caster, which caused the boss to target the melee fighters after those were dead.
It was a literal nightmare for them!
Hard mode was brutal, truck-sized rocks kept raining down nonstop, and nothing they threw at the boss made a dent. They had no way to fight back.
"He is right, Hell, let’s stop right here," Angelica, one of the Legends top healers and one who had suffered the most in this hard mode run by always getting targeted by the second boss and dying over and over again stamped her delicate feet, her chest heaving up and down as her frustration was boiling over.
That action made her look even cuter, as many players were attracted by her, their eyes shining as they wished to see another stamp of her feet.
