"Do you all feel the same?" Ye Xiu asked, looking at Zuo You and the other family members.

They all turned to look at Zuo Zhongzheng. As much of a beast as Luo Qiwei was, he was still Zuo Zhongzheng’s son.

"Spare his life," Zuo Zhongzheng sighed.

Luo Qiwei was overjoyed. I thought he would ask Ye Xiu to kill me! As long as I’m alive, I have a chance for a comeback! After all, I still have a powerful ally in Dragon Hollyhock.

"Alright," Ye Xiu nodded. "Then what about these three?"

"You may do as you see fit," Zuo Zhongzheng said.

The lawyer and the two experts were terrified. The lawyer hastily pleaded, "I’m a lawyer! Murder is illegal! If you dare to kill me, you’ll go to jail..."

He casually kicked the two Ancient Martial Arts experts, knocking them unconscious, then said to his two subordinates at the door, "Take them back for a thorough interrogation. I want to know how many accomplices they have in Jin Ye City."

"Yes, sir!"

The two subordinates immediately dragged away the two unconscious men and the lawyer’s body.

Only then did Luo Qiwei and the Zuo family realize that Ye Xiu had not come alone.

"Big Brother, how did you know our family was in danger?" With the crisis resolved, Zuo Song’er reverted to her usual innocent and adorable self.

Realization dawned on Zuo You and Zuo Song’er.

"Big Brother, you cured Song’er’s heart condition, helped our family resolve a major scandal, exposed Dragon Hollyhock and Luo Qiwei’s true colors, and now you’ve saved our entire family. I truly don’t know how we can ever thank you," Zuo You said sincerely.

"Divine Doctor Ye, your kindness to the Zuo family is as high as the heavens and as deep as the earth. In the future, should you ever need us, the Zuo family will go through fire and water for you," Zuo You’s grandfather said gratefully.

The other members of the Zuo family also came forward to express their thanks. They simply owed Ye Xiu too much and had no idea how they could possibly repay him.

"Consider it fate that I met Song’er and Zuo You. I didn’t help you expecting anything in return, so please don’t trouble yourselves over it," Ye Xiu said, waving his hand dismissively. "Alright, it’s getting late, and I should be heading back."

"But Big Brother, you just got here! Why don’t you stay a bit longer?" Zuo Song’er pleaded, unwilling to see him go.

The rest of the Zuo family also urged him to stay. They were eager to spend more time with such a legendary figure.

"Grandfather! Dad! You guys are terrible..." Zuo Song’er protested, so embarrassed she nearly buried her face in her collar.
