"Huwait City… we're here. All passengers, remain calm and follow the ground crew instructions. Proceed to the designated processing zone for identification and clearance."

The words echoed throughout the plane, whose hatch soon opened, and the passengers began stepping out.

Among them was a blue-haired young man who navigated his way through the crowd and processing zones before appearing outside at the taxi junction.

He got into a taxi and told the middle-aged driver his destination before being dropped off.

Huuuuuuuu

Everlearn exhaled loudly, looking up at the flaming golden ball in the sky.

This was Huwait, the city where the TCF Base lay, and it was currently 3:00 PM in the bright afternoon.

The taxi didn't drop him directly at the barracks, but at a place that made it within walking distance.

He examined the map of Huwait City and easily identified his location along with the TCF Base.

It was just around a two-hour walk away.

Everlearn moved immediately, blending in with the pedestrians, but paused at a couple of shops along his path.

He bought a couple of neat and official-looking suits and matching pants.

He stopped at another store, much larger, selling Battle suits, and went inside dressed in the formal attire he had bought earlier, before stepping out again.

The items he bought were stored in his system's shop as he continued quietly on his way.

By 7:20, Everlearn was already far from the human settlement, standing on desert-like terrain.

He stood at the peak of it, his eyes looking into the far distance where lay a barricaded wall, with patrols stationed on posts.

Army tanks were parked at the gate, some uniformed soldiers moving around them.

The walls were so high that sight into the structure itself was impossible, but this confirmed one thing:

This was the TCF Base!

One glance at it revealed one thing:

'It's heavily protected…' he mused.

In the next moment, his hands reached for his face, and he tapped the black dot by the side of his brows twice.

A silent flicker of crimson quickly disappeared, and in the next moment, words rang in his ears.

"The desert floor… You must be in Kuwait."

It was Sara's voice.

He had decided to activate the camera tech he had been given, soon turning to look at the TCF Base, a gasp of awe coming from the other side.

"That's… That's the Base!"

"I'm guessing the camera works clearly then?" Everlearn responded.

"Yes. Yes," she said, this time in a more serious tone.

"I'm trying to boot the camera sensors with the location module I have of the TCF Base. Just give me a minute."

The quiet sound of keyboards echoed for about thirty seconds.

"All linked. You're ready to go."

The confirmation voice echoed out in the next moment.

"Best path in?"

"If you try to pass the front gate, there are quite a lot of guards in there." She said,

"Over the walls then, I guess." He said, but she replied.

"Climbing up the walls is also impossible."

"I can already sense detection and electrocution waves on the walls, which will alert the entire base in an instant."

"Ridiculous to say, but the only way in is to jump over those walls without any part of you touching them."

"Possible. Any idea what's on the other side of those walls…" he continued.

"Prediction of the exact module is impossible unless you're truly inside. But I can sense the dots showing the soldiers and their locations. The place that holds the lowest concentration is the northern side of the walls."

"Go in through that place, and you'll land in an area with no soldiers, at least."

"I can't confirm if you won't face auto-elimination missile machines after that, though."

Sara added, and Everlearn hummed quietly.

In the next moment, he tapped the camera off before beginning to remove the official attire he was wearing.

What he took out next was a dark-looking battle suit that clung tightly to his body.

It had special effects, light reflection that made it almost invisible at night.

Everlearn had bought it from a Corer shop after buying a suit and tie, to look like a serious professional.

The shop was initially reluctant to sell him such clothes, but his appearance convinced them, and they even gave him a discount.

In one moment, he was standing there on the yellow sand, the wing blowing around his hoodie and hair, but in the next, he was a completely different person, barely visible.

A shadowy effect radiated off the heavy pitch-black coat, beneath which were the tight battle suits.

There was a mask over his face that didn't hide his features but instead morphed them.

His face now resembled a middle-aged man, a scar cutting down his right eye, black hair hidden beneath the hood of his coat.

As he stepped onto the sand, it remained perfectly still, and Everlearn vanished silently into the darkness of night.

Tonight, he would be infiltrating a military base to get their most secretive code—or… he would die trying!

_________

"That place is exactly right. Lowest concentration of soldiers."

"Now jump!"

The words echoed in his mind, and in the next moment, Everlearn lowered himself to the ground.

From beneath his feet, a rippled quietly surged through the sand and then,

WHOOSH

The silent sound of the breeze whooshing as a pitch-black figure jumped high into the sky, rising about 250 meters.

The wall was just over 230 meters high, allowing Everlearn to clear it and fall back.

However, he had yet to land on the ground when the words echoed:

"INTRUDER DETECTED! ACTIVATING ELIMINATION PROTOCOL!"
