Mated to A Rival Alpha-Chapter 211: The Face of Karma’s Ally
[JIHOON]
"You wanted the attention of Calindra? Now you have it. Have fun explaining to them what the fuck you mean by their rightful luna," Jihoon said before he walked to have a seat next to his beta and his parents.
Yanna looked angry and scared at the same time. Of course, she had every right to be.
Park Taeho and Park Yoona were like hunters, who never let their prey go and given the things that their son had told them of Yanna in the past few days, they were more than ready to start the torture.
Yanna knew that if they took her, there would be a higher probability that no one would ever know that she was ever inCalindra. No one would ever find her and that in itself was the scariest thing that could have happened to her here with these people.
She should have expected that the hybrid would have given her up with the way she had been treating them. Maybe if she had been a good person, they would know whether to defend her or not.
But she had been a mean ass person for no reason to them.
This was her karma.
"Do you have anything to say, Miss Yanna?" Alpha Park asked and Yanna instinctively took a few steps back.
She was tempted to run away, or even use her vampire speed, but she knew that if the Parks had known her sins for the past days, then they had to have put measures in place to corner her.
Who knew whether the dress she had gladly fitted herself into was the trap itself? But then Yanna had to try. She couldn’t surrender just like this. She had come so far to let herself be apprehended like this.
It wasn’t fair and she wasn’t going to go down this easily. It was a horror that she hoped that she wouldn’t ever have to face in any way and yet right now, she was in that shame. If she was going to go down, then she wasn’t going to go down on her own, right?
"Screw you, all of you," Yanna said before she tried to make a run for it, but Alpha Taeho casually reached his hand in his pocket, drew out a knife, and charged it at Yanna’s shoulder.
It was a poisoned knife, one that the man had always been walking with in case he was attacked by vampires. Since he had heard that Yanna was a hybrid, he had always crafted a knife for her, just in case she had tried to betray their son.
Funny how what they hadn’t wished for had actually come to fruition. This was cruel and disappointing and as Yanna fell to the ground, clutching her shoulder that had a knife stuck in it.
She knew that she wouldn’t win this time, but that wasn’t enough for her. So she tried crawling away, tried making a few noises so people would help her, but then they all couldn’t, even if they wanted to.
The man in charge was a dangerous man and the Calindra wolves knew that so well.
Granted, they had been used to complaining to Jihoon, but here and now, since Jihoon had told them that his father would be taking over, the wolves had strangely been disciplined.
They knew their fate would easily change if they tried anything stupid and that in itself was the craziest thing that could have had to face in their day to day.
"Language. There and children here," Alpha Park said as he reached Yanna and snapped her neck, forcing her into a long, interesting vampire nap. She was trapped and should be for a really really long time this time anyway.
Turning to the wolves who had instantly sat back when the alpha snapped Yanna’s neck, Alpha Park watched them. He could tell that they were worried and could tell that there were so many things at play at the moment.
It didn’t matter what they were supposed to do, but with Yanna on the ground and incapacitated, they would have to make the right choices or be the next victims of the brutal alpha.
Then again, Alpha Park never just did things because he could. He was never brutal to his people. He, just like his son, would always do whatever it took to make sure that his people were safe.
"I know you are all scared of the war that is coming, and you are right to. But even if you are scared and they come, will you cower away and let them burn our home to the ground? Will you take the back seat and watch them take more lives of our people?
"The reason for war with Incayon seems to be because of Yanna and if we hand her over to them when they come, then we won’t have to lift a finger. You can all go back to living your lives peacefully.
"If any of you have questions, feel free to come find me. I will be in my office. Until them, make sure not to screw Calindra because I will wring your necks.
"And we all know that werewolves never wake up if their necks are wrung," Alpha Park said so casually that his luna just facepalmed, while his son smiled like a man who had been waiting to be on the sidelines for a while now.
Anyone would think that Jihoon had been weak for not staying in his position and leading his people to war, but Jihoon had other things in mind.
He knew that what he was going to be doing would easily drive Calindra into the middle of political warfare and that was the most dangerous thing for them right now.
Calindra needed to be left out of Rania’s vengeance and maybe she would change her mind if she knew that she wasn’t going to be dealing with the whole of Calindra. Then again, they had forced her to be hated by her own people.
Someone had to be held responsible for the emotional damage and she wasn’t going to hold back just because they could have been nicer and shit to her. Rania was coming and they all were painstakingly aware of that.
"Take her away from here before I change my mind and ruin her," Alpha Park said and the wolves just watched as their warriors took the women wawa. They all knew that she was being taken to the dungeon which scared the hell out of everyone.
They knew that she wasn’t going to be able to see the sun for a while and they knew that she would be in a lot more pain than she had caused anyone. The worst of the dungeons was not even a dungeon by itself no.
It was a beautiful room, a place that many wanted to be and many were scared of. It was the room of hell for many and it was the one place that no one ever wanted to be in.
Oh, but it would have been comfortable and beautiful, if only the room wasn’t laced with wolfsbane and regular rays of sunshine that were intentionally allowed in.
The rain might have been raining a little too hard right now, but the weather in Calindra had always been faithful.
It was just a matter of time before the sun came up, and when that happened, Yanna would wish that she had been staked.
"Yes alpha," the warriors responded as they dragged her away.
