Chapter 191: Kiss me_Part 3

He shook his head, "Don’t like noise, so I never went even when I had the chance."

"About the noise, does it still bother you?" Belle asked, turning to him as she realized he had been playing the piano without showing any signs of discomfort.

"No, I am well rested, and you are not a bad noise, my love, nor is playing this piano," he said with a slow grin that suddenly made her heart tremble over and her inside melt into a puddle of heat.

She’d almost forgotten just the right effect a healthy Rohan had on her because of the long days she had spent with the unmoving one on the bed. She had almost forgotten how charming it felt to be called with an endearment.

"Don’t hold back any discomfort, let me know if you feel anything out of place so we can take care of it before it worsens."

He nodded his head, "I feel as good as new," he remarked as he began to make silent plans to take his Belle to the theater and have her by his side as he experienced his first time there. He needed a special place to thank her.

Tomorrow was special. She had wanted to celebrate it with him. He would make it special. He had woken up because he’d thought she had cried for him to wake before this day.

Rohan recalled the notes exactly as she’d played them, and they came tripping out of his fingers as he played them to her. He sang the words along as well.

Belle couldn’t believe he could master something this fast just by listening to it once, and she smiled as he performed his trick, and then she joined in, singing along with him.

"When the nights are cold and dreams feel far, I’ll be your warmth, your wish, your midnight star."

They ran through it, Belle singing in his ear.

He wanted to turn and kiss her, but he couldn’t stop in the middle of a piece. He had to play it to the end.

He finished with a flourish.

"That was—" Belle began to praise, unable to believe he could sing this perfectly.

Rohan cut off her praise by cupping the nape of her neck and taking her mouth in a hard kiss.

Belle tasted wine in his mouth. He laced his fingers through the hair at the base of her neck, fingertips finding sensitive skin.

He kissed her like he had been dying to have her mouth, as if she were a delicious meal he had been dying to have and was finally having it at long last.

He feathered kisses onto Belle’s cheekbones. His breath was hot, and she felt her body loosening, flowing like water.

"That was unexpected," she whispered against his lips when he pulled back to allow her to breath.

"You don’t like it?" He pecked her lips.

"I love it. I miss you so much." She smiled shakily.

"I miss you, too, my little bunny. I am sorry I was away from you."

"I forgive you," she replied softly.

"You’re not afraid of me anymore?" he whispered, his voice low and husky, his eyes dropping to her moist lips. The memory of her stepping away from him in the forest was still vivid, burned into his mind like a scar he could never forget.

She shook her head slowly. "Never. I know you now, and I accept what you are." She leaned forward and pressed a tender kiss to his lips, her smile warm and sure. "And I’m sorry for stepping away from you like a coward that day—"

"Shh..." he silenced her, brushing his knuckles gently along her jaw. "You are not a coward, my love. You’re the bravest soul I’ve ever known. And I’ll make you glad you stayed, I promise you that."

He traced his finger around the shape of her lips, reverent and slow, outlining the gentle cleft of her top lip and the fullness of the lower. His gaze lingered on them, dark and possessive, before his hand trailed lower, sliding along her thigh. When he sensed the emotions welling again behind her lashes, he leaned in, determined to banish her tears with the heat only he could give.

"Are you wet?" Rohan whispered, his breath hot on her ear, and then his teeth caught her earlobe in a teasing graze.

"Yes..." She tried to swallow. "If you must know, I am damp... I always get like that when you touch me..."

"Good." His hot tongue circled the shell of her ear.

"I’m hard, too," Rohan whispered, his voice deep and trembling with need. "I want to be one with you again... somewhere more private than this."

His tongue flicked along the curve of her earlobe, drawing a shiver up her spine as he licked it with maddening sensuality.

Belle laughed a little at the ticklish sensation, heat rushing to her center and throbbing. "Rohan..."

He nuzzled her hair. "Hmm..."

The heat there flared.

He snaked his strong fingers around her wrist. His hand was heavy and warm, and he traced a circle on the inside of her arm.

He then moved her deftly onto his lap before she could react. Her backside was sitting squarely on his lap where she could feel the graze of his erection.

The blue rosette at her bosom crushed against Rohan’s robe, and he cupped his hand around her bottom to pull her more on his erection.

She didn’t argue, didn’t gasp at him for taking a liberty, he had the right. She wanted to take even more of a liberty with him. She wanted to undo the buttons of his trousers and put her hand inside like she had once, a very long time ago in that carriage ride—a time that seemed like it had happened a century ago because of all the things they had both gone through in the past months.

She wanted to work through layers of cloth until she could stroke his swollen organ, to feel it against her hand. Never mind that they sat in the front piano room; never mind that the curtains were wide open to the busy winter street of Bimmerville City, where the fence was low, where she could hear the movement of carriages outside and people.

"Kiss me again," she murmured.

Without a word, he swiftly slanted his lips over hers. His tongue stabbed inside her mouth, and he pressed his fingers to the corners of her lips, opening her wider.

These weren’t the kisses of a man flirting. They were the kisses of a husband who wanted to lie with his wife—damn the timing and damn the circumstances. Every part of her that touched him throbbed with longing.

"We should stop," she whispered. He had just regained consciousness just yesterday, and even though he had bathed while she was asleep and he’d seemed to feed his vampire traits—as she had told Rav last night to find a way for him to get blood this morning—she knew it wasn’t the right time in this moment.

"Why?"

Belle couldn’t think of a reason to stop him when he asked. She had been deprived of him by circumstances for almost two months now. She needed her husband as much as he did her. Why should I not enjoy his kisses when they are presented? A little coupling in the piano room won’t hurt anyone.

She snaked her hand between his thighs, finding the hard ridge behind his trousers.

"Mmm." One corner of his mouth turned up. "Do you want to touch it?"

Yes, she answered in her mind, but cupped his face and kissed him again.

Her lips felt raw, swollen from his kisses. She kissed the curve of his lower lip, tasting the corners of his mouth as he’d done with her. She was getting more experienced, all thanks to him and more bolder than she thought she could ever get.

He chased her tongue, pinning it inside her mouth before he proceeded to lick every inch of it, and then he suddenly pulled back.

"Time’s up." He announced with a slow smile, causing Belle to frown.

"Why?" Before she finished the question, the door of the piano room was opened and a servant walked into the room.

Belle tried to jump away from Rohan’s lap, but he was holding her too tight.

"It’s ready, my Lord," the human servant announced, and Belle’s frown deepened as she sat herself back on his lap since she couldn’t pull away.

"We will be there in a second," he told the maid, who bowed and then left the room.

"What is ready?" Belle asked her husband.

"Our breakfast—or should I say lunch. It’s two in the afternoon. You were sleeping so soundly I did not want to wake you. Rav told me you have been missing your mealtimes and barely eat? I don’t like that, so I’ll make sure you are filled to the brim today and well fed. Let’s go."

Before she could say a word, Rohan had gathered her into his arms and carried her steadily out of the piano room.
