Chapter 93: Never letting him go again

He just hopes it was just a coincidence. She turned towards him, "I think we should just head back,"

He nodded in agreement.

"Why are you here?" Davian demanded. He just arrived at his workplace and parked his car at the parking lot, where he found Leah standing close to her car, waiting for him.

"I thought I told you not to come here anymore," he added.

He attempted to ignore her and walk away but she stood in front of him, her arms spread out as she stops him.

"Please hear me out, I’ll leave right away. I want to apologize about the last time. I had no right mentioning my feelings to you and I wasn’t expecting anything to change, I just wanted you to know.

"I’d really want us to end this on a friendly note as you had suggested, so I’m sorry," she explained, he didn’t respond and just stared at her.

"So, friends?" she continued with an infectious smile.

He sighed and nodded, "Just leave,"

"Wait! Davian as friends, can I have your number? It isn’t wrong right? Are you still using your old number?" she questioned.

"Being friends, ending this on a friendly note, doesn’t mean you can have my number or call me anytime you want. It doesn’t also mean you are allowed to come to my house or workplace anyhow you like.

"I don’t appreciate it. I still use my old number but don’t expect me to pick your calls." Davian concluded and walked away.

She smiled as he walks away, her eyes admiring his physique, he was as handsome as ever- Even more handsome. She didn’t mean to hurt him and she didn’t mean to let him go at that time and she will be forever sorry for it.

She knows he was still clearly mad at her but she is going to make it up to him. She is going to creep her way into his heart and make him fall in love with her again.

And when she does, she is never letting him go again. She is the only one who truly deserves to have him, not anyone else.

...

Sentencia sighed as her eyes searched through the racks of items in the supermarket as she shops for groceries.

She looked upwards at the top of the rack and found what she was looking for. Her hands reached for it, she tiptoed a little to get it. A hand held the item first and brought it to her front.

She turned to see who it was.

"Fi," she beamed. Ahem, she reacted after because of the way she had beamed excitedly at his presence.

It made him smile, his hands went up, "I didn’t follow you this time. I was close to the supermarket and I decided to get something,"

"I didn’t ask," she chuckled collecting the item from him and putting it into her shopping basket.

They began walking forward, Cia picked more items that she wanted.

"Pick as many as you want, Cia. On me," he told.

"Oh no, Fi. It’s okay, I will pay...You don’t have to," she replied.

"I miss you so much, days felt like decades," from now on he will make time, find ways to spend more time with this woman.

His words brought a smile to her face, "How is your father?"

"He is well," he answered simply.

There was silence for some while. What Logan had mentioned to her of Fi involvement with the assassination of his foster family, still lingered in her mind.

She looked at him, she hopes it wasn’t true. Their eyes met, Fi smiled at her.

"You are going to make me blush if you continue admiring me with those brown eyes," those brown eyes he has fallen so in love with.

She laughed, "I wasn’t," but he did look extra handsome today, maybe because she wasn’t seeing him everyday. His neat blonde hair, from the forehead to the middle was packed up in a small ponytail while the rest was allowed to rest, some few strands still falling to his forehead.

"Fi..." she started, feeling a little awkward discussing it with him.

"Yes," he answered.

"Don’t be mad. I have something to ask you," she continued.

"Go ahead, I won’t be mad," he responded.

"And promise me something," she added.

"Which is?" he asked.

"Promise me you won’t confront the person involved," she requested.

He nodded reluctantly, "I promise,"

"Logan thinks you might have some involvement in his family’s assassination," she started. She could feel his aura change slowly, the place felt some how, extra cold from his cold and icy aura.

She took a pause, pursing her lips. She shouldn’t have brought this up.

"Did he tell you that?" he asked, she nodded.

"That means you have been seeing him?" he asked further.

"He is my friend, just like you-"

"I won’t and I’m not telling you to stop seeing him. You can," Fi turned away, he was obviously jealous but he will win Cia fairly while also making sure Logan never gets the chance to use Cia all in the name of getting back at him.

"It’s not true, like you already know...we were good friends. I wouldn’t do such a thing to him," everything that involves him with the issue that day, was all a coincidence.

"I believe you," she replied, he smiled.

"Thank you for trusting me," he said.

"I just hope one day, Logan would realize the truth and maybe become friends with you again," she commented.

"Oh my sweet doctor," Fi shook his head, he doesn’t think that will ever happen.

She finished shopping for her groceries and walked out of the supermarket with Fi after paying.

"Want to have dinner with me?" he requested.

"Sure." she agreed.

"I’ll pick you up at five then," he told and she nodded.

At exactly five PM, Fi was already at her door. She opened the door and they smiled at each other.

"You ready?" he asked glancing at her.

"Uhm what do you think about this outfit?" she asked.

"Perfect, I’m not taking you to an expensive restaurant, so it’s okay you dressed casual," he replied.

"So where are you taking me to?" she inquired, stepping out of her house. She shut and locks the door.

"A diner, but their meals are divine," he answered.

"Can’t wait," she responded. Her eyes went to his bike. They walked towards it and Fi fastened the spare helmet on her head, he smiled at her as their eyes met.

"I really love your brown eyes. I love the way they sparkle," he complimented, a blush settled on her cheeks.

"My mother had brown eyes too. They also always sparkle even till her final breath," he looked glum as he remembers his mother.

Sentencia held his hand and squeezed it in a comforting manner, giving him a warm smile. He returned the smile, he brought her hand upwards and kisses it, making her to burn red even more.

He got on his bike and she joined him, her hands wrapped around him and he drove off. They arrived at the diner in no time and they got a table, their food which they ordered was brought to them soon and they started eating.

"Wow, it does taste amazing," Cia elated.

"Told you so. Enjoy it all," he replied. They continued to enjoy their meals while talking about random things.

After their meal, they decided to have a little drink. But it went wrong as little turned to a lot as they continued to converse and Cia soon became drunk.

"Okay. C’mon, let’s get you home," Fi said after settling the bills. He held Cia by the waist and brought her hand across his shoulders as they walked out of the diner.

They got to his bike and after putting the helmets on, he told her to get in after hopping on himself. She managed to climb on the bike even with her drunken state and held Fi loosely.

"C’mon Cia, hold me tight. You are drunk, I don’t want you falling off the bike," he pleaded, she moaned groggily and held him more tighter. He drove at moderate speed to her place as he was afraid she might fall off.

They got there and after parking his bike, they got off, keeping the helmets. Fi held her again and searched through her purse for her keys. They got inside her house after he managed to find the right one and opened the door.

He shut and locked the door before bringing her upstairs to what seemed to be her room.

He laid her on the bed, "Get some sleep now,"

But instead she raised her upper body a little and his eyes widened a little at what she did next.

She connected their lips and kissed him innocently. Her eyes were closed as she kissed him, nipping and sucking on his lips. He shut his eyes too and kissed her back, in the same sweet manner.

This would be the third time they kissed each other, it was more special to him this time because she was the one that initiated it though she was drunk.

He didn’t realize how much he had been longing for these lips untill this moment. She let go and when he finally opened his eyes, ready to dive in again for a more hungry kiss. She was already fast asleep.

He shook his head with a smile on his handsome face. This woman...

...Few hours ago...

Silvia was still at her office when she received a message from an unknown number.

She opened her phone to see that it was a photo and when she clicked on it, what she saw next made her heart to skip a beat.

It was a photo of Davian and his ex standing close to each other. 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮

She zoomed on the photo, the place looked like the parking lot of the new place 3D was relocated to and the outfit Davian was wearing, was the one he wore when leaving for work this morning.

That means this photo was taken just this morning. But by who and why? What are their motives for sending it to her?

She tried not to overreact, the photo didn’t show any compromising thing between them.

But why the hell was Davian with his ex at his workplace?
