Chapter 158: SHORT Chapter (Death) & EXTRA SCENE (Epilogue)

~SHORT Chapter (Death)

"Time of death-"

"No! She can’t possibly be dead!" Cia interrupted the doctor as she barged in. Tears in her eyes.

"Ma’am, you can’t be here. You’re not even putting on the requireme-"

"Move aside! I’m a doctor!" She told and started using the defibrillator on Olivia again. But even after minutes of using it, she still wasn’t coming back.

Sentencia threw the defibrillator away and started using her hands instead.

"C’mon Olivia," she muttered. "C’mon, you can do this. Come back Olivia!"

Silvia walked closer to Cia, "That’s enough Cia-"

"No! She isn’t gone! Olivia c’mon!" Sentencia started to recall the last time she lost a patient, she can’t just do nothing right now, she can’t possibly be useless in this situation too. Olivia can’t possibly die too.

"That’s enough Cia!" Silvia told in between tears as she stops Cia.

"No..." Cia cried as Silvia hugs her.

"She...S-She’s gone," Silvia fought so hard to say it.

"No..." Cia continued to utter in disbelief.

There was silence.

Only the touching sounds of weeping was heard.

Until...

Beep! Beep! Beep!

The heart monitor was heard again and just like a miracle...

"Olivia," they called as her fingers even moved. A sharp inhalation of breath was heard as her eyes shut open.

Leo didn’t think he would be able to see those sequin blue eyes again.

"OLIVIA!"

Few hours later...

Olivia had miraculously regained consciousness.

She soon went back to sleep briefly as she was moved out of the ICU; her condition was gradually and safe to say, rapidly improving.

After a few hours of sleep, her eyes opened slowing. It moved across the room.

"Olivia," she heard that all too familiar voice call onto her. Her eyes moved to him, he was sitting besides her. His hands soon went to hold hers.

"Olivia," he called again, tears in his eyes but a bittersweet smile on his lips.

"Leo," she responded weakly.

"How are you feeling? Let me get the doctor," he stated as he hovered above her.

"No it’s fine. I feel fine." She replied.

He let out a breath and sat back down. Then she smiled; "How long was I out? I hope I didn’t make you and everyone worry too much."

He sniffled; "(Scoffs) You little troublemaker," he replied and they both shared a brief laughter.

"I thought I loss you." He continued after some while, his voice shaken.

"Please Olivia, don’t do that again." He added.

Tears made her eyes twinkle, "I’m sorry. I promise, it won’t happen again."

He hugged her lightly then placed a kiss on her forehead.

"Where’s our child Leo?" She asked.

He smiled, "Let me go get her," he said standing up.

She held his hands, " ’Her’? " She uttered with so much excitement in her weak voice.

"Yes her," his smile widened, so did hers.

"She looks nothing like you though, sorry to burst your bubble," he added and she chuckled.

"She only has your eyes but she looks so much like me," he grinned then walked out of the room to go get their daughter.

Their child was soon brought to her. When Leo got to the room, Olivia was already sitting up while a nurse attended to her. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦

Tears filled her eyes as Leo walked closer to her, their child in his arms as he held her so lovingly, he wasn’t as stiff anymore as the first time he held her.

Olivia soon held her child in her arms, her daughter. Leo wasn’t pulling her legs, she was a photocopy of her dad but has her eyes. Olivia smiled at the child, the tears in her eyes finally started to walk down her cheeks majestically. But they were tears of joy.

"You weren’t bluffing, she looks so much like you," she chuckled.

"Told ya," he responded proudly.

She chuckled again, "So beautiful,"

He smiled, "Couldn’t agree more. She’s so unreal, like an angel from the sky."

"Leonora." Olivia said.

"I want us to call her Leonora," she added.

"You’d name her after me?" He responded so touched.

"It’s what has been on my mind lately. I want to name our first child after their father, if it was a boy Leonard Jnr. , a girl- Leonora," she replied.

He smiled even more. The nurse felt as if her heart was going to burst from all these cuteness and sweetness.

"That’s so sweet of you. Thank you my love," he said and kisses her cheek.

"And one for you too, Leonora," he told and kissed their daughter on her forehead.

"A kiss from Daddy," he added with a smile.

His eyes just appreciated the view in front of him and the love of his life swayed their child gently in her arms. He didn’t want this moment to end, neither does she, the joy and warmth in their hearts knew no bounds.

~ EXTRA SCENE (Epilogue)

Five years later...

Somewhere in Williwocks...

A beautiful family of three; A handsome man, a beautiful woman and their cute little boy who seems to be about four years old and was sitting comfortably on his dad’s shoulders, were walking towards the woods.

"Are you sure you still remember the tree?" Silvia chuckled.

"I’ll recognize it once I see it," he smiled. Saying that more to himself.

They were here in Williwocks for a family vacation and decided to locate the tree they once made a promise to come back to five years ago.

"Aha! This is it. Looking as good as always," he commented when he finally found the big tree.

"Wow, look at this. Our names are still on it," Silvia beamed.

"Of it should be, I carved it real deep and it was the tree’s responsibility to keep it safe. Thanks buddy," Davian said, patting the tree. Silvia laughed.

There was silence.

"We did it Davian, we did come back." She smiled bittersweetly at him.

He smiled back, "We did promise forever here,"

He moved closer to her and held her cheeks lovingly. "For eternity Silvia," he declared.

She smiled, "For eternity."

He placed a kiss on her forehead and just as he was moving away. Silvia screamed as their son who was on Davian’s shoulders grabbed hair.

"Ah! Let go of your mom’s hair, Sky." Davian told.

"Let go of my hair Skyler, let go of mommy’s hair. F**k! It’s so painful-"

"Silvia! The F-word, we have a little boy here," Davian replied as he tried to get their son’s hands off of her hair.

She glared at him, "You’re not the one who’s hurting right now!"

"Gosh! How can a four year old’s grip be this strong? He must really feel angry for leaving him out on our declaration of eternity earlier," Davian joked and they both found themselves laughing after their boy chuckled in agreement.

It was a sight indeed.
