Qi Yin enthusiastically said, "I’ll take care of Brother Zi Han. If there’s anything you don’t understand since you just got here, feel free to ask me."
"Thank you in advance, Qi Yin."
Since he had just arrived and it had been a long time since they last met, Ji Yunhuan had Zi Han stay at the house for two days, and Zi Han readily agreed.
Having a guest at home, and a childhood friend at that, made Qi Yin very happy.
After having dinner at Qi Garden, it was already a bit late. Bai Yufeng stood up, "Qi Yin, I’m heading back now."
"Go ahead, bye." Normally, if Bai Yufeng was leaving, Qi Yin would certainly see him off, but today all her attention was on Zi Han.
Bai Yufeng didn’t say much and left on his own.
The next morning, before Zi Han got out of bed, the sound of knocking woke him up. He got up, walked out the door, and saw Qi Yin standing there. She was in her school uniform, looking youthful and energetic.
"Good morning, Brother Zi Han," Qi Yin greeted with a smile.
"You’re up so early." Zi Han checked the time, "Sorry, it seems I got up too late."
"No, no! It’s not late now either." Normally at this time, Qi Yin would still be lazing in bed, perhaps not even getting up after being called several times by the servants, often needing Ji Yunhuan to get her up personally. But today, she woke up extraordinarily early.

Zi Han followed Qi Yin out of the room, and the two of them had breakfast downstairs before the driver took them to school.
They were just dropped off near the school, choosing to walk in, feeling that being driven directly to the school was too attention-grabbing.
Qi Yin never liked that.
Walking behind Zi Han, she watched him, "Brother Zi Han, have you been well all these years?"
Zi Han nodded, "Pretty good, how about you?"
"I’ve been good too." Qi Yin looked at him, "I’ve always wondered when I’d see you again, never thought you’d actually appear in front of me one day."
Even though Zi Han said he would come back to see her when he left, as Qi Yin grew older and wiser, she gradually understood that Zi Han might never come back.
She never held much hope for seeing Zi Han again.
However, meeting him again was even more delightful than she had imagined.
Zi Han smiled, "I thought after all these years you would’ve forgotten me, you were so young then."
"You’re not much older than me!" Qi Yin said, "Actually, I don’t remember much from when I was little, but when I see you, I remember you."
The moment Ji Yunhuan mentioned his name, she recalled a person who had once appeared in her world.
As the two approached the entrance, they ran into Bai Yufeng, who seemed to have been waiting for Qi Yin with a backpack on. Seeing Qi Yin and Zi Han together, he was somewhat surprised, "You two came together?"
Qi Yin nodded, "Mom left Brother Zi Han at our place after you left last night, he’s staying at my house."
Qi Yin looked at Zi Han, "Brother Zi Han, shall we go out after school?"
"Can we?" Zi Han asked, "Are you allowed to not go home on time?"
"Of course." Qi Yin replied, "I just need to tell my mom, she’ll agree."
As long as there’s a driver and it’s safe, Ji Yunhuan doesn’t interfere with what she does.
Zi Han nodded, "Alright."
"Do you know anything besides playing?" Bai Yufeng glanced at her uncooperatively, "How many points did you score in the exam? Qi Yin, are you that free?"
"What’s the point of always studying? Besides, since Brother Zi Han rarely comes, playing with him isn’t a big deal."
Qi Yin had already made up her mind, so no matter what Bai Yufeng said, she didn’t listen.
At school, Bai Yufeng watched her enter her classroom before heading to his own.
At lunchtime, Qi Yin went to find Zi Han again, inviting him and Bai Yufeng to lunch together.
In the past, only Bai Yufeng and Qi Yin ate lunch together, but now there’s Zi Han too.
Bai Yufeng quietly sat on the side, watching Zi Han and Qi Yin chatting happily. He felt like an outsider, for the first time feeling being around Qi Yin wasn’t enjoyable.
Since the beginning, he knew Qi Yin enjoyed playing with Zi Han.
"I’m full, you two take your time." Bai Yufeng stood up and directly left the cafeteria.
As he passed by, the girls around kept looking at him, constantly admiring his handsome appearance.
Though Zi Han was at school, he still couldn’t steal any of Bai Yufeng’s charm.
Qi Yin watched Bai Yufeng leave, frowning, "What’s wrong with him? Is he feeling unwell?"
Zi Han glanced at Qi Yin and smiled, "Probably nothing."
Qi Yin glanced at Zi Han, quickly putting it out of her mind.
In the afternoon, she went out with Zi Han, while Bai Yufeng went home alone. Gu You was at home, having just sent off some editors, saw Bai Yufeng entering and looked at him curiously, "Feng’er, why are you back so early today? Didn’t take Qi Yin home?"
Every day before, he’d always take Qi Yin home.
"She doesn’t need me." Bai Yufeng handed his backpack to a servant and went upstairs.
Gu You looked at his back and could sense that her son was unhappy.
Even though he had a good temper and rarely got angry, as a mother, Gu You could still feel when he was upset.
Qi Yin took Zi Han around to several places, and as it was getting dark, Ji Yunhuan, seeing that she hadn’t returned yet, called her, "Where are you?"
Qi Yin took a look at the time and realized she had played too long, "Sorry mom, I’ll be right back."
She quickly headed home. Zi Han took her to the door and then left, "Qi Yin, I’m heading back."
"Aren’t you staying over tonight?"
"I’m going back to see my mom, see you tomorrow." Although Ji Yunhuan wanted him to stay, he’d already spent a night there and didn’t want to inconvenience them by staying longer.
Qi Yin instructed the driver to take Zi Han home and entered the house, seeing her whole family inside.
Besides Ji Yunhuan and Qi Cheng, there were also Yangyang and Ruirui.
"I’m back." She raised her voice, feeling a bit guilty, and greeted her family.
Her eyes fell on Yangyang, "Big brother, you’re back."
Yangyang studied in C City and rarely came back.
Yangyang glanced at Qi Yin and nodded, "Yeah."
"Where did you go?" Qi Cheng sat on the sofa, his expression unusually serious.
Qi Yin stuck out her tongue and said pleasingly, "Dad, are you mad? I didn’t go anywhere special, just out playing with Brother Zi Han."
"Do you know what time it is?" Although Qi Cheng doted on her, he’d never allow her to stay out so late.
