Chapter 190: FEELING LEFT OUT

FIRST, fainting spells.

Now I’m getting dizzy and nauseous, too.

Sohee knew pregnancy was difficult, but he didn’t expect it to be this hard.

Especially on his Omega body.

"Sohee Hyung, I called and asked Kyungmin Hyung to come here."

"Why would you call Dr. Seong when my OB-GYN is just next door?"

"Your pheromones are weak, Hyung."

"It’s because I’m pregnant."

"Yes, that’s true. But my gut feeling says there’s something else," Kim Heedo said in a serious tone while shaking his head. "Of course, I hope I’m wrong. But it won’t hurt to be paranoid at a time like this."

Aigoo.

Sohee knew that it was the bare minimum for Park Heedo to take care of him like that, but he still felt touched.

Even without his memories, he cried for me and begged me to stay.

As expected, the power of love between the two of them was strong.

But that’s not enough— not yet, at least.

"Thank you for calling Dr. Seong, Heedo-ya," Sohee said carefully. "You may leave now."

"Huh?"

"You came here unannounced, remember?"

"Oh. But—"

"This isn’t my house," Sohee said, cutting Kim Heedo off. "This villa belongs to Garam Hyung. If I didn’t faint, I don’t think he would have let you in. And, to be honest, you’re making me uncomfortable."

Now Kim Heedo looked dejected. "Hyung..."

"There’s a reason why I didn’t pick up your calls, Kim Heedo— I’m not ready to see you yet. You forced me to face you and have a heavy conversation with you when I wasn’t ready to do so."

Sohee had to be cold and cruel because he needed his message to be clear.

And, to be honest, compared to what he had gone through because of Kim Heedo, this was actually nothing.

I know I shouldn’t compare, but I can’t help it.

"You’re not going to overcome your welcome, are you?"

Pain crossed Kim Heedo’s eyes, but it looked like he got Sohee’s message loud and clear. "I understand, Hyung. I’m sorry for making you feel uncomfortable," he said meekly. "I’m leaving for today. But please pick up my calls. I’d like to know how you’re doing. You and our babies."

"I’ll think about it," Sohee said, avoiding Kim Heedo’s gaze. "Go and apologize to Garam Hyung before you leave."

KIM HEEDO knew that his eyes were red and puffy even without looking at the mirror.

He really cried his heart out earlier.

In fact, the pang in his chest was still there.

I can’t believe I almost left Sohee Hyung alone to raise our twins...

"You want to see me, Heedo-ya?"

Heedo got up from his seat when Lim Garam entered the drawing room.

After leaving Park Sohee’s room so his husband could rest, he asked the household staff if he could meet Lim Garam before leaving.

The butler of the villa brought him to the drawing room to wait.

"Hyung-nim, I apologize for coming here unannounced," Heedo said, bowing his head politely. "Thank you for letting me in despite that."

"I only welcomed you here because of Sohee," Lim Garam said, sitting down on sofa. "Sit down."

"Yes, Hyung."

Heedo then went back to his seat.

"To be fair, I was informed by my people as soon as you stepped foot in here," Lim Garam said. "I didn’t tell Park Sohee because I wanted you to see how messed up it was to visit someone who didn’t give you the right to see them."

Heedo flinched at Lim Garam’s coldness.

But he couldn’t say anything back because the older man was correct.

I really made a big mistake.

"So, have you learned your lesson, Heedo-ya?"

"I was wrong, Hyung-nim," Heedo said, bowing his head again. "I’m going to stay in the area until Sohee Hyung allows me to see him again. If that happens, will it be alright for me to come here?"

"Of course. I don’t mind as long as Sohee is okay with seeing you," Lim Garam said while nodding. "Just don’t act like a creepy stalker, okay?"

"Okay, Hyung," he said, and then he paused for a moment when he remembered something. Then he asked awkwardly: "Hyung-nim, is that person going to stay here, though?"

"Who?"

"That Alpha..."

"Ahn Yujae?"

"Yes, Hyung-nim. Why is that person even here?"

Heedo didn’t want to sound jealous, but that was exactly what he was feeling. freeweɓnovēl.coɱ

Is this me being a typical jealous Alpha, or does my heart really remember my strong feelings for Sohee Hyung?

Yeah, it sounded cheesy, but he couldn’t help it.

"Ahn Yujae will stay here for the next few days because he’s helping me and his uncle with the project we’re working on," Lim Garam said, raising an eyebrow at him. "Heedo-ya, Ahn Yujae is my guest. Don’t even think about picking a fight with him."

Heedo avoided Lim Garam’s scrutinizing gaze. "I’m not going to do anything that Sohee Hyung will hate me for, Hyung-nim."

Well, hopefully.

"YUJAE-YA, you should stay here for a few days."

Lim Garam thought his request was simple, so he was a bit surprised when Ahn Yujae almost choked on the water he was drinking.

Aigoo.

"I’m about to leave tonight, Garam Hyung," Ahn Yujae said awkwardly. "Why do I need to stay here for a few days? Do you need help with something else?"

"Yeah," Lim Garam said while nodding eagerly. "I need you to make Kim Heedo explode in jealousy."

Because that was how Song Sihyuk regained his memories— by almost dying from jealousy.

And I have a feeling that the same trick will also work on Kim Heedo.

Lim Garam was doing it for Park Sohee, of course.

That kid is already like a little brother to me.

"Oh, I thought Sohee already dropped the plan of making Kim Heedo jealous."

"Sohee doesn’t know that I’ll ask you to continue the plan that he already dropped."

Ahn Yujae knitted his eyebrows, obviously confused. "But why are we doing this behind Sohee’s back, Hyung?"

"Because that kid is stubborn," Lim Garam said while gently patting Ahn Yujae’s shoulder. "If you agree with my plan, I’ll help you with your problem."

"Oh."

SOHEE fell asleep after talking to Heedo earlier.

When he woke up, Dr. Seong Kyungmin was already there.

Dr. Seong is probably not getting paid enough to cater to chabeols’ whims.

Anyway, the doctor immediately worked and checked Sohee’s pheromone level using the instrument that he brought.

The one used to measure a person’s blood pressure.

"Sohee-ssi, your pheromone level keeps dropping," Dr. Seong Kyungmin said in a serious tone. "I’ll be honest with you— this is bad for you and the babies."

Oh.

Sohee clenched his hands tightly, the doctor’s diagnosis sending a chill down his spine. "Isn’t it normal for pregnant Omegas to be this weak, Doc?"

"Yes, but since you are a male Omega pregnant with twins, it’s double the risk," Dr. Seong Kyungmin said, pausing for a moment. "I shouldn’t be the one telling you this, Sohee-ssi. Should we call your OB-GYN here?"

Okay, hearing that only made him nervous.

I also don’t like how Dr. Seong is looking at me as if I would shatter at any moment.

"Dr. Seong, how serious is the problem?" Sohee asked nervously. "You can at least tell me that, right?"

"This is just the worst-case scenario, but I’ll let you hear it first," Dr. Seong Kyungmin said in a serious tone. "If your condition doesn’t improve, you might have to choose between you and your babies."

Oh.

That bad?

Sohee subconsciously hugged his baby bump. He thought he had already braced himself for whatever the doctor would say, but he was still taken aback.

I can’t lose these precious babies...
