Magus: Rise of the Darkness Empress-Chapter 93: Ch : Weiss Vs Superior Puppets

After breaking the wall and the barrier, Weiss had specifically targetted all the superior grade armoured puppets and had attracted their attention toward her.

This was not particularly a hard thing to do as these puppets had a very limited Intelligence and they went after anyone who had attacked them first.

So Weiss just needed to use her speed and hit all the superior grade puppets. That was enough to make all of those puppets to follow her.

Next Weiss brought them to the opposite direction from where Elise and Peria were fighting. She was making sure that these puppets were not going to interfere with their fights at all.

Even though Elise would be capable of defeating these puppets in one on one battle, even she would be in trouble if three or more of these attacked her together. As for Peria, even facing one would put her life in considerable danger.

That was why Weiss first brought these superior grade puppets away from them. And now finally it was time for her to go all out against them.

Weiss was actually looking forward to fighting these puppets. Currently she was facing off against 6 of them. The first one that she had used to break the barrier, that puppet had already been defeated when Weiss’s life force had entered it’s body.

The strength of these puppets were at the peak of mid level knight realm. Just a little bit below a high level knight. Weiss had found it out while defeating the first of the superior grade puppets.

She had also managed to take a brief glance at the core of that puppet. Even though she did not have much time to analyse it, one thing was clear. This special core was a lot more complex than the previous ones that Weiss had seen.

But the current time was not suitable for thinking about these things. She needed to focus on the battle before her.

Weiss then quickly took the sword in her right arm and her free left arm started to use the spear. So Weiss was dual wielding two different types of weapons which was an extremely difficult thing to do.

Among the six armoured puppets,three were using swords. Two of the puppets were also using spears. Only one of the puppets had a hammer like blunt weapon in its hand.

As for the one that Weiss had already defeated, that puppet was also a sword user. And the sword that Weiss currently had in her hands belonged to it previously.

The battle started with all the puppets ganging up on Weiss from all sides. Weapons came swinging at her but all of them were either blocked or dodged by her.

Weiss was not planning to use the Storm Assault for the time being. These puppets were not strong enough to force her in using that move.

So she only used Fleet Footed Steps to move around the battlefield and whenever she attacked, she used either the Metal Cutting Slash with her sword or Gold Piercing thrust with her spear.

The Metal Cutting Slash was something that Weiss had developed for a strength specialist like Karl. As for the Gold Piercing thrust, it was a newly developed special technique by Weiss which Peria was still trying to learn. She had created it just three days ago.

With the help of these techniques, after only 30 or so exchanges, Weiss had already pierced one of the cores with her spear and had also cut down another one of the puppets, making its core to come out of the body.

So at the current time, only 4 of the puppets were left. And if nothing changed drastically, they would also be destroyed after a few dozens more exchanges.

At this moment, something suddenly changed in the puppets. One of them came charging at Weiss alone while the other three started of gather together.

Among the remaining four, two were using swords, one was using the spear and the last one was using the hammer. It was one of the two sword wielding puppets who came charging at Weiss.

As this sole puppet had no support, Weiss managed to destroy it in mere seconds. But it turned out that this puppets wanted to buy only those few seconds from her.

During the time when Weiss was cutting apart the lone puppet, the remaining three had started to fuse together. When Weiss was done taking out the core of the destroyed puppet, this fusion process was at the last stages.

Even then, if Weiss had used partial activation of Storm Assault at this moment, she could have stopped the three puppets from fusing.

But she ended up allowing this fusion to happen even while knowing the danger that it had. She was just way too curious about the result.

And the result did not disappoint her. Soon, a three meter tall puppet with three heads and six arms appeared before her. It looked extremely tough but in order to find out exactly how tough this puppet was, Weiss needed to fight against it.

With that in mind, this time she did not wait for the puppet to attack her. Instead, Weiss took the initiative and ran toward it.

Seeing this, the puppets used the spear and tried to pierce Weiss with it. But she had managed to easily dodge the attack. But immediately after that the hammer came to smash her in the exact location where Weiss was going after dodging.

But even this well planned out attack was powerless against Weiss’s super speed. She managed to get out of the range of the hammer before it could come in contact with her.

But it looked like the puppet had expected this. So the sword was waiting for her at the exact direction of where she was going. It looked like that after the fusion, other than the stats, the intelligence of the puppet had also improved.

But how could Weiss not see this coming with her extremely keen perception. There was no way she would he taken by surprise with this attack.

So when the sword blocked her way, Weiss intercepted it perfectly with her spear and parried it. This sudden parry was very unexpected and the three headed puppet immediately lost it’s balance.

For a large being like this, getting the balance back was extremely hard. And with Weiss attacking it continuously, this task become impossible.

So very soon, the puppet fell on the ground and immediately after that, Weiss came down on it, from the sky, with a poweful downwards swing of her life force boosted sword. Dust immediately filled the area and the ground under the puppet broke.

So was this grand attack by Weiss enough to defeat this three headed six handed magical puppet ?
