Lust System: Monster girl Harem-Chapter 218 - 219 All out [Part 2]
Chapter 218: Chapter 219 All out [Part 2]
"Wow, you know I’ve never seen a male as bold as you are; this is really great; I’ll try to make the most of it. Is this distance enough?" Cath asked.
"Yes," Ethan muttered, gripping his sword tightly.
"Alright, let’s begin," Cath spoke as she bent her legs slightly.
(She going to charge with insane speed, and she doesn’t seem to want to do anything apart from close combat, here she comes)
As Ethan was holding his sword, he didn’t have to worry about Mana since his sword was going to replenish it.
[Flame cloak, Ignite, Heightened senses, Spatial Awareness]
Ethan’s body was covered in flame, and with all the spells he cast in repeated succession, he could feel the Mana digging into his body, but he had to.
If Cath was as fast as he was hoping she was, then his brain wouldn’t be fast enough to react, so he wanted other things in place.
Cath was getting ready to charge and make a small shift in her legs which Ethan caught.
"Now..." Ethan swung his sword forward, slashing into the air; but Cath didn’t move. She just wanted to see if Ethan would be able to react to her, and he did; if she had charged forward, she would have lost an arm.
(She knew, damn that bitch, use your flames and then use lightning, it’s the fastest spell there is)
[Fireball]
Ethan shot three fireballs towards Cath, who was now walking towards Ethan slowly; she didn’t even bother to dodge his fireball as she accumulated Mana in her hands and blocked the fireballs.
’I need to use lightning as a trump card if I expose it now, she might dodge and then I won’t be able to catch her off guard’
"I must say, you exceeded my expectations; I’m really surprised," Cath muttered.
"We haven’t even started and I already exceeded your expectations"
"Yes, first you have more than two element attributes, and your Mana level itself isn’t impressive, but your recovery time is amazing; your Mana is at its very peak even after all the spells, but you’re going to run out of stamina soon," Cath spoke.
"Are you trying to stall for time?"
"No, I’m just saying, you should work on your stamina, if you and your opponent are on the same level then you won’t be able to win a battle of attrition"
(I don’t think she planning to attack, you should take the lead)
’I’m planning to,’ Ethan mumbled inwardly, taking a step at a time towards Cath.
"You don’t have to worry about that," Ethan said with a smile.
"It’s getting bright; okay, let’s do this," Cath spoke as she took a step forward.
Cath dashed towards Ethan with immense speed, and just as Ethan predicted, his brain wasn’t fast enough to react, but with his heightened senses, his body reacted and swung his sword forward, but once again, he slashed the air.
Ethan was shocked as he knew Cath had moved from where she was.
(Dude!!!)
Ethan caught a silhouette from the corner of his eyes, but before he could react, Cath caught both of his hands and immediately tossed his sword away from his hand.
Even with Ethan’s flame cloak, Cath wasn’t moved in the slightest, and Ethan moved his head forward to headbutt Cath, but he jumped backward.
Now, both of them were a few feet away from each other with their hands up, It was hardly a battle between mages, but none of them seemed to care. Ethan stopped his flame cloak spell since it had no effect and his mana recovery wasn’t going to keep up without his sword.
Cath smirked as she moved in and quickly threw a punch towards Ethan’s face, but he blocked it and wanted to counter, but another punch was sent towards his face.
Ethan couldn’t believe what was happening. Cath was so quick there was nothing he could do other than block, and her blows were so heavy his hands were starting to weaken.
But for some reason, all her blows were focused on his face, Ethan knew it was a distraction, so she would punch his stomach, but it didn’t seem to be the case as Ethan was being pushed backward with every blow.
Cath stopped for a second, and Ethan wanted to use the opportunity to move away, but she sent a punch toward his face, which Ethan blocked but regretted as he heard a crack in his hands.
This particular punch was stronger than the rest, but Cath gave him no breathing space as she threw her fist again this time, the blow didn’t come, and suddenly Ethan felt the air leaving his lung as Cath punched his stomach.
"Stop...stop." Ethan was down on one knee, coughing as he stretched his hands forward, telling Cath to stop, but of course, that didn’t happen as Cath delivered the final blow, knocking the lights out of Ethan.
"Did you really have to knock him out after breaking his fingers?" Mag asked.
"I just felt like it, and I’m going to heal him so why the question?"
"Nothing"
"Just say it: he’s really handsome. I’d also like to have sex with him, but we’re on a mission; if the cave turns out to be just a normal Mana fluctuation, then we might consider that before he’s taken away, but if it turns out to be something important..."
"I know, and since he’s be going with us, keep an eye on him," Mag said.
"Fine, but for what it’s worth, I think he’s unlike other males; with enough training, maybe he might be as strong as us someday," Cath muttered.
"No chance, he might be as strong as you physically, but in terms of magic prowess, he’ll never catch up to us"
...
"Wake up," Ethan heard a voice and felt a tap on his body, causing his eyes to open slightly.
"You slept when you’re supposed to be keeping watch" Maria spoke as Ethan sat up immediately and saw Cath smiling behind Maria.
