Chapter 136: Chapter 137: Breakthrough to the third Level

After taken back home, Jeff did not waste any more time since it was already 7 when he got back he went straight to his room.

He first cooked a lot of rice and totally fulling entire rice cooker, since he knows how badly he needs to eat.

After that he went to the bed and went into a position, taking out the necklace from Liza that he had purchase he first inspected it.

He tried to put it closed to his eyes and tried to find what made it so unique, but after finding nothing he decided to continue.

As Jeff sat cross-legged on his bed, he then placed the necklace gently in his palm.

The faint bluish-purple glow from the marble-like stone shimmered softly under the dim light of his room as he tried to circulate his Kinetic Energy.

He closed his eyes and then steady his breath, and began to focus his mind. Slowly, he channeled his energy toward the necklace.

The moment his consciousness reached it, a wave of powerful kinetic force erupted from within the gem.

"This is awesomeeeeee!!!," Jeff screamed inwardly feeling the surge of power.

He gasped as the energy surged into his body like a raging current. It felt like countless streams of heat and vibration were rushing through every fiber of his being.

His muscles become tensed, veins bulged, and a deep hum echoed in his ears as if the air itself was trembling.

His heart pounded wildly, matching the rhythm of the energy coursing through him.

It wasn’t painful but it was overwhelming, like holding back a flood that wanted to burst free.

His skin glowed faintly, his sweat evaporating instantly from the sheer intensity of the power, when his eyes slightly open the golden hue was slight glowing as he continued.

He could feel his body changing, as his muscles tightening, bones hardening, his senses sharpening even further.

Due to the enhancement in his hearing, Jeff could now perceive sounds from far distances.

Even from a hundred meters away, he could hear everything as if he was standing right there, despite the thick walls and isolation of his house and their houses.

"Hey, you bitch, this chicken is cold!" a man shouted angrily before the sound of a slap echoed.

Jeff could even hear the pot hitting the floor and breaking into pieces.

The faint trickle of soup spilling out and seeping through the cracks of the wooden floor reached his ears clearly.

He could hear the broth dripping into the underground space below, every droplet was distinct and crisp.

"This hearing of mine is insane," Jeff muttered in awe as he continued to absorb more energy.

His hearing expanded even further, allowing him to perceive sounds that no ordinary human could ever detect.

Now, within a full range of two hundred meters, he could clearly hear everything happening in each house across the neighborhood.

Conversations, footsteps, and even the faint buzz of appliances filled his mind like overlapping layers of sound.

"Hey look, I won the lottery! I’m going to be rich!" a man’s excited voice echoed in his head.

"Really, honey? We’re rich?" a woman’s joyful voice followed.

"What do you mean we? I’m rich, you’re not. Let’s divorce," the man said coldly before storming out of the house, leaving the woman in silence.

Hearing what happened to this two couples made Jeff form a strange expression.

"What a weird neighbor," he muttered, shaking his head.

As he tried to focus his hearing more precisely, a faint sound suddenly caught his attention, something coming from right beside his room.

"Ahh~, Ahh~," the moaning sounds grew clearer, causing him to freeze in place.

His brows twitched as he sharpened his focus, tracing the sound’s direction until he realized it was coming from Claire’s room.

Listening closely, he could tell it wasn’t Claire’s voice. The tone and rhythm were different, it sounded like something coming from a device rather than a real person.

"I can’t believe she actually watches this kind of stuff," Jeff whispered, but thinking that they are just human its completely normal.

Focusing on the greater portion of the remaining energy within the necklace, Jeff continued to draw it in.

Every pulse of kinetic energy surged through him, refining and reforging his body from within.

His muscles trembled under the immense pressure, each fiber resonating like tightly wound steel cords.

As the energy built up, it no longer flowed smoothly rather it began to gather and pile inside him, seeking release.

Jeff gritted his teeth, as his entire body drenched in sweat as he struggled to compress the wild torrent swirling within his core.

It felt as though every cell in his body was awakening, his veins pulsed visibly beneath his skin, glowing faintly as if tiny sparks were coursing through them.

The sensation was overwhelming, his entire being charged with life and strength beyond anything he had ever felt before.

All of a sudden, a low boom echoed throughout the room.

A wave of air burst outward from his body, rippling through the space and stirring everything around him.

The curtains fluttered, the pillows fell to the floor, and even the pens and papers on his table scattered as if a small shockwave had passed through.

He opened his eyes, panting lightly, as his body trembled from the intensity of what had just occurred.

"Did I just take a breakthrough?" he muttered in disbelief.

He could feel it his body felt lighter, his blood flowed faster, and his muscles seemed to hum with stored energy.

Somehow, he had become stronger. But just how strong he was now, he wasn’t sure.

"Hmm, I should try to take another breakthrough," he exclaimed since the necklace still had a lot in stored from it.

Minutes passed, then tens of minutes he felt that his veins was bulging once more and his kenetic Vein Art decided to take drastic measure, or else he would be in danger.

His breathing grew heavier as the kinetic energy continued to surge inside him like a storm trapped in a fragile vessel.

He clenched his fists tightly, his body trembling as he sat in the middle of his room, trying to suppress the violent vibration within.

The Kinetic Vein Art wasn’t something meant to be used recklessly, since it needs refinement and compressed energy beyond what the human body was built to endure.

So that’s why before breaking through, he needs to train his body and endurance first but he did not know this that’s why he was undergoing this painful process.

As he circulated the energy once more, his entire body began to resonate, every muscle fiber shivering at a microscopic level.

"This is too much, It’s not stabilizing, I should have stopped early on" he grunted, his face drenched in sweat.

Then, it happened a sharp crackle echoed from within his body, followed by a low, thunderous boom.

This time the curtains fell off the window, the bed sheets was hurled hard to the walls, even the chairs and tables moved tremendously.

Jeff’s eyes widened as he felt it, the second breakthrough.

His kinetic veins, the micro-energy pathways running alongside his blood vessels and nerves, were expanding and reinforcing themselves.

He could feel the change down to his very cells, inside of him his mitochondria, the power generators within each cell, began working overtime, fueled by the constant vibration and influx of kinetic energy.

The rapid oscillations increased his metabolic rate dramatically and his body temperature rose, his heartbeat quickened, and his lungs strained to supply enough oxygen.

His cell membranes thickened even further, adapting to the immense internal pressure, while his muscle fibers underwent micro-tears that instantly repaired stronger and denser than before.

The process mimicked extreme training, but on a cellular scale, multiplied hundreds of times over per second.

However, the human body wasn’t meant to handle this much kinetic compression. The tension built up faster than he could stabilize it.

His bones creaked under the strain, faint vibrations ringing through his skeleton like a tuning fork.

Tiny capillaries in his arms began to rupture from the pressure, leaving faint crimson lines under his skin.

His vision started to blur as intense pressure surged within him.

The veins around his golden eyes bulged violently as if they were about to burst, and thin lines of blood began to slide down his face.

"I can’t stop now," he gasped, clenching his fists tightly as his whole body trembled.

He forced himself to keep his breathing steady, even though the energy inside him raged like a storm.

"If I lose focus, this energy will tear me apart."

He gritted his teeth further and activated the Kinetic Vein Art to its absolute limit.

His body went still completely motionless on the outside but inside, it was chaos.

The energy spiraled, compressing tighter and tighter, like a star collapsing into itself.

A final pulse echoed through his chest. The veins on his arms and neck glowed faintly golden, then slowly dimmed.

And then silence came as the air settled again, the room returning to calm.

Jeff sat there trembling slightly, his breathing was heavy.

Steam rose from his skin, and the faint scent of ozone lingered in the air.

He slowly opened his hand, seeing faint arcs of static ripple across his palm as the last remnants of kinetic energy settled into his core.
