Loving The Cursed Werewolf King-Chapter 556: Arielle Farewell
Everyone came closer. There were many faces that Arielle had never met. They all gathered to pay their last respects to Xavier The Blue Fire. A brave dragon who was willing to die to protect the young dragons.
Maxieno lit the flames with his hands and started burning the wood from the bottom pile. Everyone fell silent while singing the same song that Otis sang to Abigail earlier.
Only Maxieno and Arielle did not look down. Their eyes were fixed on the flames that were burning so fast. Several dragons began to sing in trembling voices while holding back their tears. Another one young dragon had returned to the ground, resting in eternal rest.
Until the song ended, Arielle could only pray that in the next life, Abigail and Xavier could be reunited and live happily ever after.
Here, Arielle would definitely take care of their children.

After the cremation of Abigail and Xavier to send them to earth, Arielle was invited by Otis to speak with Maxieno about the continuation of their agreement. They rode on Luffy’s back until they reached Birwick Castle.
In her hand, Arielle tightly held a basket containing three black eggs. Whereas, when they were still under Abigail’s arms, they had a beautiful white sparkling color.
Birwick Castle looked even quieter than usual. There wasn’t a single dragon there. Otis invited Arielle to enter the hall which was dirty and full of remnants of the building. Even though a few days before Arielle left this castle, she cleaned up the dust and small debris and collected all of them in one side.
Arielle stood in front of Maxieno who was now sitting in his throne while holding his chin.
"I leave my nephew to you," said Maxieno in a low voice.
"I... will try to get them back as soon as possible."
Maxieno didn’t answer. He just sighed like someone who was tired from doing many activities all day.
"Up to you."
"Is... the agreement really bound to my descendants if I can’t do it?" Arielle asked to confirm their agreement.
Maxieno didn’t answer. Otis touched Airelle’s hand then nodded his head.
"For this necklace..." Arielle said as she pulled out a necklace with a red snowdrop pendant hanging around her neck.
"Just take it. You need them to come in here after they’re all born," replied Maxieno while pointing to the three eggs in the basket that Arielle was holding.
Arielle nodded in understanding then put the necklace again. She turned to Otis and hugged the old man who had helped her a lot from the start. Without Otis, Arielle might still be an ordinary girl who didn’t understand the task she had to carry out.
Because of Otis too, Arielle had the power to help Ronan as his wife. She was really grateful for the man’s presence. Now that the werewolf clan was gone, Otis also didn’t have the key to leaving Birwick Mountain again like before because the werewolf clan had been the only one who could enter and leave as they wanted freely .
"Arielle, sorry I can’t take you any further after this," Otis said with a puffy face after crying too much. Either the old man was still sad because of the loss of Abigail or he didn’t know when Arielle could fulfill her promise to Maxieno.
Arielle returned Otis’ hug gently.
"I’ll be right back," she answered with determination, making Otis smile again.
"Sure, you should also visit me once in a while." Otis came over to whisper. "Come visit me if you already have a daughter."
"Hmm? A daughter?"
Otis nodded enthusiastically. He hoped he could still live for a few years again to see Arielle’s child. He was eager to see little Arielle. He already considered the girl like his own little daughter. Seeing her determination to practice made Otis love her so much.
Every wound she got from training with Maxieno made Otis feel guilty. Even though after that the red dragon would give Arielle the elixir of immortality, seeing her come home with her hands or face burned and bleeding made his old heart feel like being sliced slowly.
However, all of that had passed. Now, Arielle had been able to fully control her power. There was only one task left, and it would be difficult to carry out. It was to bring back Amadea’s heart which had been taken away by Princess Cecil, and that place was in the Thebis Kingdom.
Arielle turned back to Maxieno. The man still looked reluctant to talk to Arielle. Perhaps Maxieno was still upset because he couldn’t have the necklace. Or maybe... he found it a little difficult to let go of his three nephews who would be in Arielle’s hands for the time being?
Naturally, trusting in a human was certainly not the nature of dragons. So maybe the man still felt reluctant because Arielle would be the one who took care of his nephews from today. Arielle lowered her head slightly to pay respects to Maxieno.
"Lord Maxieno, thank you very much for your help so far. Without your help and training, maybe I’m currently still struggling to train and haven’t been able to save Arthur and Irene and end up regretting it. I will fulfill my promise and come back again to return your nephew soon."
Maxieno moved his hand, indicating that he didn’t want to have small talk with Arielle and wanted to get the girl out of his sight as soon as possible. Arielle gave him a final smile then turned around.
"I have told Luffy to pick up Arthur and Irene. You can go back with them now," Otis said.
Arielle gave Otis a faint kiss on the cheek as a form of gratitude for the first time. Then, she waved her hand. Otis also waved back and then wiped his cheeks because his tears fell.
"Time flies so fast. It feels like just yesterday Arielle arrived here, and I treated her. Now she is the chosen descendant of the Moon Goddess," muttered Otis as he watched Arielle leave.
"Human!" Maxieno’s call boomed, making Arielle and Otis shocked.
