Loving The Cursed Werewolf King-Chapter 520: Arielle Is Pissed

Arielle had finished her morning activities in helping Otis. Because the task of preparing breakfast and washing clothes was carried out by two people now, it was done faster.

Arielle then prepared herself to train under Maxieno. She stretched her body for a while learning to open and close her flow of mana a few times. Otis was also there. The man sat down while giving some advice to Arielle.

"Should I call him? I’m worried if Maxieno will sleep again," Otis said, making Arielle panic.

"Sleep? At this hour?" the girl asked in disbelief.

Because yesterday Maxieno said that the training would start in the morning and now the sun was already over her head, which meant it was already noon. Wouldn’t her day be wasted?

When Otis stood up to remind Maxieno of his promise to help Arielle train, a man suddenly appeared with his disheveled red hair. He scratched his neck and staggered towards the front of the castle. His eyes weren’t fully open yet, and there was still a trace of saliva on his chin. Arielle and Otis could only sigh deeply.

"Otis, I’m hungry. Make me food again," Maxieno said casually, then turned around without greeting Arielle or informing her again about her training.

"Lord Maxieno!" called Arielle.

Hearing his name being called, Maxieno turned around, then rubbed his eyes while yawning widely.

"Huh?"

"Didn’t you promise to help me train today?" Arielle asked.

Maxieno didn’t move and thought for a moment. "Ah! I forgot! Why didn’t you wake me..." he glanced up at the sky. "Ugh, it’s too late. We’ll start tomorrow. I want to go back to sleep again," he continued.

Arielle frowned. This couldn’t happen! She had been waiting since morning and hoped that she would start the training under Maxieno soon because they were now in a state of urgency. Arielle wanted to save Irene and King Arthur right away. She also wanted to immediately take the red snowdrop flower from the werewolf clan, so that she could lift the curse of Amadea before the full moon arrived!

Arielle ran after the man and stopped Maxieno from walking away.

"But you promised that my training would start today! I can’t delay one more day! I want us to start from today!" Arielle demanded. It made Maxieno scrape his ear with his pinky.

"You’re too noisy, human. You’re getting rid of my desire to teach you more!"

Otis then pulled Arielle. He saw Maxieno who started to purse his lips in distaste. Otis couldn’t let Maxieno spit his flames like before when Arielle still fully mastered her power.

"Arielle, calm yourself first. Let me talk to Maxieno," Otis whispered and gently released Arielle’s hand from Maxieno’s hand.

After Maxieno left, Arielle bit her lip to hold back her tears. She beat her chest to relieve the tightness in her heart. She had been waiting since morning! Her hands got tired of warming up repeatedly. If the man didn’t plan to help her in the first place, it was better for Arielle to learn from Otis! Even though it would take a year, the important thing was Arielle could see her progress! Not like now when she was left without certainty by Maxieno and did nothing all day.

Arielle slapped her cheek several times, trying not to cry when another dragon passed by. She bowed her head in respect of the dragon that had entered the castle. Arielle didn’t care either. Now she had to try to distract her mind because if she kept thinking about her wasted day, then Arielle would cry anytime.

Besides, she didn’t want to show her weak self in front of Maxieno!

Arielle then saw that the castle was so dirty. She also had to practice using her muscles. Her body was really weak, and Arielle wanted to get strong. One by one, she collected every stone that scattered throughout the castle.

Arielle tied her mouth and nose with a cloth. She took a broom and collected every dirt and dust in the castle. She didn’t know the last time the castle was cleaned, but Arielle couldn’t imagine how they— the dragons could live comfortably in such a dirty place.

Even just seeing it made Arielle feel uncomfortable. The moment her hand came into contact with the castle wall, an extremely thick layer of dust made her itch. Without being asked, Arielle cleaned the whole castle. And that managed to distract her from the disappointment of Maxieno.

Even in the hall, where the dragons gathered to chat with each other around Arthur who was sitting quietly in the iron bars, Arielle didn’t hesitate to get rid of all the rocks, both small and large. Maxieno, who was sitting laughing on her throne while enjoying a glass of wine in the hot afternoon, stopped laughing when Arielle tried to push a large rock that was bigger than the girl’s own body.

The boulder was one of the ruins of the castle walls several years ago. Maxieno was too lazy to get it out, and Otis couldn’t push or lift it either because he was too old. "Rise and shine, lowly human!" Maxieno exclaimed, spreading his arms to greet Arielle in the morning.

Otis, who stood behind Maxieno, couldn’t help but let out a long sigh.

"What are you doing on a beautiful morning like this? You want to spend your day lazing around in your bed, huh?" Maxieno asked, making Arielle stand up right away.

She was still confused and not fully awake yet.
