Loving The Cursed Werewolf King-Chapter 508: The Elixir
Otis sprinted ahead of Xieno who was walking to approach their important guest. Otis bowed down his head because he didn’t expect that he could meet one of the members of the unicorn clan who almost never showed their existence in front of the other creatures. Otis felt so happy and relieved. The elixir could help Arielle’s wounds to heal faster.
Elixir of immortality was an elixir that was only owned by the unicorn clan. The silver-colored liquid was part of the unicorn’s blood which had the function of treating any wound, even if the wound was severe. Although the name was the Elixir of immortality, it didn’t make the user have an eternal life.
The name was taken from the unicorn that was rumored to live an eternal life. Even though the dragon clan could live for hundreds of years, the unicorns could live much longer because their blood was able to heal every wound on their bodies. The only way to kill them was by removing the pointed horns on their foreheads. However, until now, Otis had never read a note about it.
Otis stretched out his hand, and the mysterious man placed the Elixir of immortality on his palm.
"How could that be?" Otis asked. He still didn’t understand how they could find out that there was another descendant of the Moon Goddess here? And how could they bring this elixir at the same time as Arielle who was seriously injured?
"We always know what’s going on at Birwick. You, as well as that girl, are people who are blessed by the Moon Goddess, and so are we... that’s why our fellow brothers and sisters will always provide assistance," the man replied while putting on his hood again.
The man bowed respectfully to Xieno then turned away, leaving the still shocked Otis speechless.
"Ah, just give one drop in the mouth. The rest, keep it well because you will need it more in the future," the man added before he left.
However, before the mysterious man left, Maxieno raised one of his hands to point at one of the dragons that was on alert in the sky to come down and block the unicorn man’s steps.
"Well... you know that you have entered the territory of the dragon clan, and you are going to leave this territory just like that? Of course, we have to interrogate you first."
The man turned around, then smiled at Maxieno. Maxieno really didn’t like that man’s smile. It seemed that the man knew every secret in this world. Maxieno tried to read the thoughts of the man in front of him, but just like Otis who already knew about the reading mind skill of the dragons, the man also covered his head so tightly that Xieno chuckled.
"What are you going to ask me, Lord Maxieno?" the man asked.
"What is a unicorn doing by breaking into other people’s territory and suddenly bringing out an antidote even though the accident happened only moments ago?"
"Oh, we did it for the good of the future," replied the man. "Just like the dragons that can have the ability to read the minds of other creatures, we also have the ability to see the future. And we’ve been preparing this for hundreds of years."
"Future? Yes, I’ve read that the unicorn clan can see the future," replied Otis while trying to remember one of the books he had read about the various types of creatures that lived on Birwick Mountain.
Perhaps this was the reason they were so hard to find. They could see the future, so they tried to avoid chaos by hiding as best they could. Everyone would definitely take advantage of that ability. If someone like Maxieno got it, Otis didn’t know what would happen to the world...
"We’ve been providing this elixir for a long time. We know what will happen in one month, and we also know what will happen in one year, two years, and twenty years."
Maxieno crossed his arms in front of his chest while looking down at the man in front of him. He squinted his eyes to examine the mysterious man from head to toe.
"Then, tell me when will I meet my mate?" Maxieno asked, making Otis open his mouth in disbelief.
Out of the many types of questions that were important when meeting a unicorn clan, which was really difficult, Maxieno chose a question about his love affairs? Otis wanted to ask about whether they could escape this dimensional cage later? Would Northendell be able to melt the eternal snow successfully? Otis just needed to know the answer, so he wouldn’t feel even more guilty for keeping Arielle here.
Otis wanted to know whether all of Arielle’s efforts paid off or not? Because if not, he would not force the girl... because today was proved that he was negligent. He couldn’t take good care of Arielle.
"Ah, it’s good if the future is unknown in advance to avoid a casualty. However, if you are very curious about it, you can see me again after twenty years."
The man looked right into Maxieno’s golden irises. His smile faded as he saw the man was in tears while holding a woman who was full of wounds.

"Yes, I will help you..." he mumbled, putting back his smile.
"Help? I don’t need help from a creature like you." His reply made Otis frown at the dragon clan leader’s bad attitude.
Fortunately, the man didn’t look the least bit offended by Maxieno’s rude reply. He just laughed a little while covering his mouth. "It doesn’t matter. But for now, I suggest that you start to open up with humans. Don’t hate them too much, or you’ll regret it later..."
Hearing the man mention humans, Maxieno’s golden eyes gleamed dangerously, and his red hair blazed with orange flames. He clenched his fists. Seeing the leader preparing to injure the mysterious man, the dragons on standby were also getting ready to spit out their flames. However, Otis grabbed Maxieno’s arm, and the dragon just left the place.
