Loving The Cursed Werewolf King-Chapter 228: Ronan Has To Go Home
"I don’t feel pain at all, Ronan," Arielle tried to calm the man down. "If I’m in pain, I’ll tell you. Meeting you again is the most important thing right now. These wounds will heal in a few days."
Ronan replied by wrapping his arms around Arielle’s waist. Their wet bodies were tightly intertwined. Ronan pushed Arielle’s body and squeezed her between the rock and his body.
Both hands held the girl’s head and body so her body wouldn’t graze the big rock completely. He didn’t want Arielle to hurt again.
"Arielle, anytime you get hurt... let me know. No matter how small the wound. Even if it’s as big as an ant bite."
Arielle chuckled and nodded.
"I’m serious! I didn’t think much about the scar. What I’m worried about is your comfort, Arielle. I don’t want you to feel pain."
"Thank you, I will remember it well," replied Arielle trying to calm Ronan, who still looked bothered.
"What’s more, if your siblings touch you, even if it is just as much as the tip of your fingernail, I will never forgive them."
Arielle turned her face away and laughed awkwardly. She had no intention of worrying Ronan so far, so the girl nodded slowly.
She said, "I just want to return to the North in peace. No matter what happens... they are still my siblings."
"You’re too kind, Arielle." Ronan grabbed the girl’s face to face him. "The truth is the world will never be that good, Arielle. Sometimes we need to put empathy aside if we wish to survive."
Ronan didn’t want Arielle to be disappointed in the future. Ten days from now when Ronan picked up Arielle, they would not be able to go home peacefully. However, he knew there would be conflict, and Ronan had everything ready.
"But ..."
Ronan kissed the girl’s lips briefly to dissuade Arielle from speaking. "Being kind is necessary. But everything has a limit, Arielle. If we can’t be decisive... many people will use the chance to oppress us."
Arielle nodded in understanding. Ronan planted his lips on Arielle’s again. "And there are two important things you need to remember...."
Arielle swallowed her saliva as Ronan glared at her. "Yes?"
"First, I’m not a saint."
Ronan was not a saint. Arielle said and told him many times that he was such a good man in her eyes because Ronan just wanted to be good to Arielle.
He was not someone who had the same empathy as Arielle and could easily forgive others. Ronan preferred to hold grudges. Even if that grudge would burn his soul. He would only feel relieved when he saw other people suffering under his feet.
Now he got a new object. He had put a grudge in his soul toward Arielle’s family. They openly toyed with Arielle in front of his eyes. Ronan wasn’t going to let them go that easily. There was a price they had to pay.
"And second... The world is harsh and cold, but your body always stays soft and warm. That’s why I can always find comfort in your arms," said Ronan in a soft tone as he hugged Arielle more tightly.
Arielle couldn’t help but laugh. She could only reply to the man’s words with a hug. She was not good at words like Ronan, so Arielle hoped her hug was enough to convey what her heart wanted to express.
Ronan pulled Arielle’s face for a kiss. His hands brought the girl’s legs to wrap around his body. Without a single thread covering their bodies, the two shared warmth. The soft kiss slowly turned more passionate. Ronan demanded Arielle to open her lips wider, his tongue licking her lips sensually.
"We can’t do it here, can we?" asked Ronan hoarsely.
The cold water of the lake at night could not contain the excitement that both of them felt from their kiss. Ronan growled softly when he felt Arielle tighten her arms around his body.
The girl broke their kiss with a gasp. She shook her head weakly. Her face felt hot, and Ronan felt that too.
"Not even a quickie?" asked the man with eyes starting to mist with lust.
Arielle shook her head again, and Ronan just smirked. Since their first making-out session in the library, Ronan had become more careful about asking Arielle to have sex somewhere.
The girl was not comfortable doing it out in the open. And in this lake, anyone could appear even if Ronan and Arielle did it behind this boulder.
Ronan rubbed Arielle’s face in understanding. "Then I must return to the North immediately. I will return to finish my work and come to pick you up."
Arielle just nodded. Ronan bit the tip of Arielle’s chin and then down on the girl’s neck. He left many marks on the girl’s body. He could only squeeze the rock behind Arielle’s body to stop himself from touching her two breasts which were now exposed in front of his eyes.
Ronan tried to convince himself that he had to return to the North immediately so that he could bring Arielle back as soon as possible. Thus, he could fully touch the girl again.
"I’ll come to pick you up soon," said the man still looking at both of Arielle’s breasts.
Arielle raised Ronan’s face and smiled. "My face is up here."
Ronan laughed softly and nodded. The man brought Arielle out of the lake. He didn’t forget to help Arielle dry herself with the blanket the girl brought. After Arielle finished getting dressed, now Ronan could clearly see some parts of the girl’s dress which had been torn from the fall.
"I brought another dress with me."
Ronan looked back at the girl and nodded. He gave a long kiss on Arielle’s lips and then turned back into a big wolf with thick black fur.
Arielle hugged the wolf’s head.
"Give my regards to the others."
(Hmm, I should go)
"And take good care of Riel’s family!"
The wolf licked Arielle’s face making the girl laugh.
(I’ll take you to the hillside)
"I know the way back."
(I just want to make sure you don’t fall on the way back)
The wolf bowed.
(Climb up)
"Eh?"
(Up, Arielle)
With hesitation, Arielle climbed the wolf’s back. She held the wolf’s thick fur as a grip so she wouldn’t fall. The wolf walked slowly. As if he was being careful so that Arielle wouldn’t fall off his back.
"Am I heavy?"
(Not at all)
Arielle stroked the head of the wolf in front of her gently, making the wolf smile briefly. The two of them had reached the border of the hill. The bonfire in the middle of the village square had been extinguished, and there were several men there, including the coachman.
It seemed that it was already early morning and the village women had gone into their respective homes and fallen asleep, leaving the men who came home from work to do the night watch or rest in their respective homes.
Arielle got off the wolf’s back.
"Thank you very much for coming to visit," said Arielle, giving him a last hug.
(Take care of yourself, I’ll be picking you up soon)
Arielle nodded. "Take good care of yourself too. And don’t forget to rest,"
