Loving The Cursed Werewolf King-Chapter 173: Ronan And Ariel Venting Their Longing
Ronan quickly left the library. He didn’t care about the few people who bowed their heads in salute.
Lazarus and William were still talking in the palace hall. Lazarus, who was sitting on one of the hallway balconies, raised his hand to greet Ronan.
Ronan didn’t reply, he didn’t even notice the presence of William and Lazarus.
"Hey! You’ve already ignored me twice!" shouted Lazarus. He looked at Ronan’s unkempt clothes, then looked at William in horror.
"They...."
"Well, they’re getting married," William replied casually.
Lazarus was wide-eyed with his mouth wide open. The man fell to the floor, clutching his aching chest.
"Ronan, you bastard! How dare you sully my holy Princess Arielle!" said Lazarus dramatically. William hit the man on the head so hard that Lazarus fell to the floor.
"You don’t know what it’s like to be in love, do you?" William asked, making Lazarus frown.
"I know. I think I am falling in love with Princess Arielle," said the man, sadly feeling lost because Arielle was already owned by someone else.

Arielle rested her head on Ronan’s chest. Ronan himself was busy playing with Arielle’s strands of hair. The room fell silent again after their heated intercourse. Arielle pulled their blanket to cover her body again.
"What were you doing while I was gone?" asked Ronan, making Arielle look up to him.
The girl raised her body, still holding the blanket in front of her chest. Even so, her back was exposed, and Ronan took the opportunity to stroke her back gently.
"Not much. I spent my time reading some books," Arielle replied.
Arielle turned to Ronan. She rested her head on her knees while looking at the man in front of her. She was thinking about what present she would give the man later for his birthday. She still didn’t have any idea.
"Is the conflict at the border over?" asked Arielle.
Ronan nodded. Actually, a few days ago, Ronan left the palace with the excuse of resolving a conflict at the border. But he wasn’t completely honest with Arielle. The man didn’t want Arielle to know that he went to the South after William.
"You met William on your way home?" asked Arielle again.
"Yeah, I met him when he crossed the border."
"Is there any news from my father? Did he allow us to get married?"
Ronan tilted his body and supported his head with his palms while feeling Arielle’s loose hair in his palm. He kissed her softly, making Arielle’s face blush.
"King Hugo allowed it on some conditions. But you don’t have to worry, I’ll get everything ready in no time."
Arielle was silent for a moment. She thought her father would let her get married without asking for conditions. Arielle felt that she was never truly valuable in her father’s eyes, or maybe, her father saw this opportunity to use to his advantage.
"I hope that the conditions asked by my father will not trouble you."
Ronan shook his head slowly. "It’s not a bother at all. I think what the South asked for is a natural thing. I will marry a royal princess. Then the whole kingdom should know that I proposed to you in the right way."
Thanks to Ronan and the North. The girl had found her true home. In the North, she was not an isolated princess. She had many firsts here.
Ronan laid back down, staring at the ceiling of his room.
"But what I regret is that I have to let you return to the South until I can fulfill all the conditions that King Hugo asked for."
"Is it a lot?" asked Arielle worriedly when Ronan said she had to return to the South.
Ronan thought King Hugo’s request wasn’t really that much. He didn’t need to build a new ship. He could take one of Lazarus’ ships. And he was also very capable of providing a lot of diamond jewelry in an instant.
It was just that giving a neutral area to transfer to him would take longer because it involved an agreement between the other three kingdoms.
"Not that many. I promise to pick you up soon. And don’t worry. I won’t send you back without protection."
"Then when will I return to the South?" she asked softly, smiling, trying to keep herself from looking sad.
"King Hugo gave you time to return before ten days."
"That fast?" asked Arielle in surprise.
Ronan blinked his eyes in surprise, as Arielle’s voice rose a few octaves. The man rose from his lying down position. He cupped the face of his future wife. Arielle looked a little displeased that her time in the North was running out.
"You don’t want to leave the North? I can force my will if you don’t want to go back South. Actually, I don’t care if the South declares war. As long as you’re by my side."
Arielle shook her head quickly. She grabbed Ronan’s hand to release her face.
"Don’t... I don’t want a war. I was just a little surprised because I thought, I’ll go back after Nieverdell returns the wolf that my brother Alexis killed first."
Ronan let out a long sigh. "Unfortunately, that is part of the terms your father put forward. Assuming the baby wolf debt has been paid off and removes the responsibility of the South to replace it."
"But if you really don’t want to go to the South, don’t push yourself. I’m seriously saying that I don’t really care what the South thinks about our marriage."
Arielle shook her head once more. "I’ll only go back to the South for a few days, right? I’ll go back to the South, so there’s no need for a reason to declare war. I don’t want my future existence in the North to cost the lives of the front-line soldiers. I like the North like this. A peaceful kingdom.," Arielle replied, making Ronan smile.
The man then grabbed Arielle’s body to lie down on his side.
"I promise to protect you in the South later. I have many confidants there, I will not let your siblings there intimidate you."
Arielle reached out her hand to hug Ronan tighter.
"Thank you, I trust you," she said, making Ronan’s smile widen.
