Loving The Cursed Werewolf King-Chapter 170: Ronan Is Back
"I-I..." Lazarus was at a loss for words. He tried to find an excuse to sound less bad to Princess Arielle.
Now Lazarus could understand why Kael admired the princess so much. He lowered his head in shame, as he realized the girl was too white for his black life. Lazarus laughed heartily while wiping every trace of his fake tears. He scratched his head nonchalantly.
"I’m sorry for my impoliteness yesterday, princess... I haven’t seen women in a long time, I spent years at sea... So I get a little excited when I see women," he explained with an embarrassed expression.
Arielle removed her hand from the man’s shoulder. Lazarus’s hair was longer than any man she had ever seen before. He had long brown hair that touched his shoulders. So, when the man lowered his head like he was now, his hair would hang down to form a curtain over his face.
"It does not matter. But I hope you don’t do it again in the future."
"Okay, princess. I really respect you. I will never do it again."
"Not just to me, but to any woman you meet. Don’t look at them in their body parts."
Lazarus lifted his face slowly and nodded awkwardly.
"Ah... Y-yes, that’s what I mean," he answered haltingly.
Even so, Arielle smiled, making Lazarus blush. It was the first smile he got from Arielle. And he realized how true Kael’s words were, Arielle’s smile had its own charisma that made everyone feel in awe when they saw it.
Even Lazarus, who had seen various types of smiles from women all over the world, was still fascinated by Arielle’s smile. He thought all this time he would not be easily impressed by women. Turned out that he was wrong.
Lucas was back to Arielle’s side.
"Princess, I have found the book I need. Is there anything you need?" asked the man, interrupting Lazarus’s and Arielle’s conversation.
Arielle thought for a moment, then shook her head slowly.
"There is nothing you can do for me. I’ll be spending some more time here. Thank you for your hard work, Lucas," said the girl making Lucas blush. Lazarus, who saw that, was increasingly convinced that he wasn’t the only one who felt the same way.
"Then let me leave the library."
Arielle nodded. "Yes, go ahead."
Lazarus also got up and bowed respectfully at Arielle.
"I-I also had to leave the library, Princess. Thank you very much for your time! And thank you for forgiving me for what happened yesterday!" said the man with a pounding heart.
"Hmm! Have a nice day, Sir Lazarus."
Lazarus wanted to get a thank you like Lucas. But he didn’t think he could get it until he proved his worth. Lazarus nodded and dragged Lucas to leave Arielle.
After making sure Lazarus and Lucas disappeared and left her alone, Arielle started to open the book that Priest Elis had given her.

Lazarus embraced Lucas when they were walking away from the library. After the library door was closed again by the guard. He clutched his chest, to calm down his pounding heart.
"Lucas, I think I’m in love," said the man, making Lucas laugh out loud.
"You always say that after you meet a beautiful woman," Lucas replied with a laugh that made Lazarus clench his fists as if to strangle the man.
"I’m serious! Princess Arielle’s smile is the most beautiful smile I’ve ever seen," said the man excitedly. "So, beautiful."
"I know. She is the most beautiful person I have ever seen in my life," Lucas replied, making Lazarus nod his head in agreement.
"Damn, Ronan got her first. If Princess Arielle had met me first, I would have made sure that Princess Arielle would have fallen in love with me," Lazarus said. Quite confidently in it too. The man even tossed his long hair shamelessly.
Lucas just smiled even though he had overheard the man groveling for forgiveness at the feet of the princess.
"Whatever, if that makes you happy, feel free to think that way," Lucas replied with a shrug.
Even if Princess Arielle met Lazarus first, Lucas was sure that Princess Arielle would never be able to fall in love with a man like Lazarus. Or even if Princess Arielle fell in love with Lazarus, she would only end up heartbroken considering how he couldn’t stop chasing women out there.
Lazarus was still resting his hand on Lucas’ shoulder. As some of the maids passed them. Lucas smiled similarly as he glanced at Lazarus, who was whistling teasingly at the buttocks of the maids they passed.
"Are they the new maids? They look younger than last year’s girls," Lazarus asked Lucas.
Just now the man had whined in front of the princess, but now he had put his eyes on something else. Lucas didn’t answer, but the man grabbed Lazarus’ head, who kept looking back to watch the maids.
In front of Blackthorn Palace, the group of people who had gone to Nieverdell had returned. Lazarus pushed Lucas away and then ran towards his best friend. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮
"Ronan! I miss you!" he cried, then jumped to the king a bear hug. Ronan pushed Lazarus into a pile of snow, making William laugh out loud as well as the other knights behind him.
Ronan didn’t greet Lazarus and left the man just like that, making Lazarus dumbfounded.
"Hey!" called the shameless man. "Ronan! Where are you going? Don’t you miss me? I have been away for a year. This is how you are treating me?"
William hit Lazarus on the head. The man was still lying on the snow.
"He misses someone more than you," said William meaningfully.
"But I haven’t been home in a year."
"You think he cares?" William asked, making Lazarus frown. He could only turn to watch Ronan’s back view until it disappeared behind the castle door. Ah, it seemed like William was right. Ronan only cared about one thing now. That was Arielle.
