Chapter 1507: Chapter 1507: Need to Do an Inspection

When leaving, the three brothers unexpectedly said in unison, "Be good."

This almost brought Di Jinxuan to tears. Her three brothers were really so cool!

The three of them left in a swift and decisive manner. Watching their retreating figures, Di Jinxuan finally felt her heart completely settle.

"So cool!" Xiaowu’s eyes nearly sparkled with admiration.

"Xuanxuan." At this moment, Di Xiaxia stepped forward concernedly, her eyes a bit red. She asked with heartfelt care, "You’ve really had a hard time. You must be exhausted. Have you eaten? I asked the kitchen to prepare food for you—it’ll be ready soon. How about I eat with you?"

Only then did Di Jinxuan realize she indeed hadn’t eaten. Now that everything had been almost perfectly resolved, she really did feel a bit hungry.

"Alright." Di Jinxuan nodded, then turned to look at Xiaowu. "Have you eaten? If not, let’s eat together."

"I’ve eaten already, Sister-in-law." Xiaowu replied respectfully to Di Jinxuan. "You go on and eat; I’ll wait for you." 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞

"Alright." Di Jinxuan nodded. "Then you sit for a while; I’ll grab a quick bite."

"No rush," Xiaowu nodded back.

Di Xiaxia instructed the kitchen to bring out the food, all freshly heated and dishes that Di Jinxuan loved.

Di Xiaxia tenderly guided Di Jinxuan to sit on a chair, handing her a pair of chopsticks. "Eat up."

"Mm." Di Jinxuan took the chopsticks without delay and started eating in big bites.

Di Xiaxia’s heart ached to see this and she couldn’t help saying, "Slow down a bit. Once you’re done eating, I’ll call the obstetrician from the estate to check on you."

After such a long ordeal, there’s bound to be at least some minor injury!

"No, there’s no need, Fourth Sister." Di Jinxuan seemed a little embarrassed. If it weren’t for the crisis earlier, this matter would’ve been difficult for her to even bring up.

"What’s there to be embarrassed about?" Di Xiaxia noticed her shyness and coaxed her gently. "You’re not a young girl anymore—there’s nothing shameful about this. It’s completely normal. When you’re pregnant in the future, you’ll have to do these kinds of checkups too. Besides, your body’s been through so much; it’s important to check if there’s any damage."

Di Jinxuan thought about it and agreed, nodding her head. "Alright, I understand."

Speaking of checkups, Di Jinxuan suddenly thought of Nangong Jin. She pulled out her phone and called Dr. Zhang. "Dr. Zhang, how’s Jin doing?"

"He’s doing well," Dr. Zhang replied. "He’s still sound asleep, and his physical indicators are all normal. I brought along some simple equipment to check on him, and everything looks good. It’s just a matter of supplementing him with some nutrient fluid. You don’t need to worry. Do you still need me to come over to you on your end?"

"No need," Di Jinxuan answered. "Everything’s resolved on my side. Just stay there and watch over him until I return."

"Understood," Dr. Zhang replied respectfully and then ended the call.

Now Di Jinxuan felt even more at ease, and the food seemed even more delicious.

Di Xiaxia stayed with her the whole time, chatting as she ate. Once she finished her meal, Di Xiaxia took her to the small private clinic on the estate.

There, she notified the obstetrician who had been specifically overseeing Di Jinxuan’s prenatal care.

This matter was admittedly awkward to bring up and difficult to explain to the obstetrician, but physical issues can’t be hidden from a doctor.

Di Xiaxia, ever thoughtful, understood how embarrassed Di Jinxuan felt. She also knew that if word of this situation got out, it wouldn’t look good.

So she drew a curtain around the exam bed, ensuring the doctor couldn’t see Di Jinxuan.

Seeing Di Xiaxia, with her large pregnant belly, bustling about for her sake, Di Jinxuan felt deeply moved and couldn’t hold back from saying, "Fourth Sister, you’re so kind."

"What silly things are you saying?" Di Xiaxia scolded her lightly. "We’re family—how could you talk like an outsider? Even though there’s not much I can do to help with this, I’m genuinely worried and heartbroken for you. Don’t ever say things that make us feel distant again, or I’ll ignore you in the future."
