Love You for the Rest of My Life-Chapter 1483: This is Not a Conflict
When Nangong Jin heard what the doctor said, he finally processed it. Immediately, he blurted out, "Holy shit!" A warmth surged through his heart. Emma, his wife was just too amazing and thoughtful! Even when feeling so unwell, the first thing she thought of was whether she might be pregnant!
He had never been so moved in his life. Nangong Jin instantly went all out, doggedly throwing himself forward, grabbing Di Jinxuan’s hand, almost crying with joy. He was a little in disbelief as he stupidly stammered, "W-wife, is it really true?"
Emma, he was practically touched to death—almost moved to tears, really!
Di Jinxuan blushed but intentionally gave him a look of disdain, saying with mock disgust, "I don’t want to talk to an idiot."
"Honey!" Nangong Jin didn’t mind her attitude at all. The word "honey" slipped out, and his eyes immediately reddened with emotion.
The doctor, being tactful, exited on his own, leaving the two of them alone.
Di Jinxuan looked at him and said with some dissatisfaction, "I told you to use protection, but you didn’t."
Clearly, Li Hui had prepared an entire bedside drawer full of condoms. She even told him to use them, but this guy just wouldn’t. He argued that for their first time, it had to be an intimate connection, and wearing something would defeat the purpose of true intimacy.
When Di Jinxuan thought about it, she had to admit he wasn’t entirely wrong, so she went along with it.
She just figured it wouldn’t be so coincidental that they’d be successful on the first try, so she didn’t really care.
But she also thought, *What if it really happens on the first go?* If that were the case, she’d decided to just go with the flow, which is why she didn’t take any contraceptives.
After hearing what Di Jinxuan said, Nangong Jin immediately had a "guilty-as-charged" expression. He felt both regretful and self-critical in that moment.
But he still earnestly said, "Wife, what your husband said was true. This was our first time, and how could we do something so intimate while wearing, well, ’that’? It would’ve taken away from our closeness. Besides, I thought it wouldn’t happen so easily. And even if it did, it’s just one year. One year passes quickly. You’d have the baby, and you could still continue dancing. It’s not like the two would conflict, right?"
After he finished speaking, Nangong Jin paused, lightly pressing his thin, flushed lips together before continuing, "I don’t mind at all if we have a child together. In fact, I’d be thrilled no matter how many kids we have, as long as they’re born by you. Plus, I’m getting older. Mom and Dad may not say it outright, but in their hearts, they’re anxious."
"If we could have a child, of course I’d be overjoyed. So, wife, if you’re willing to have a baby with me, your husband would truly be so happy, so touched."
Di Jinxuan pouted slightly. To be honest, her attitude toward this sort of thing was pretty laid-back. At the very least, she wasn’t opposed to it.
"So when are we heading over? Now?" Di Jinxuan asked.
To be honest, Nangong Jin didn’t really want her to make the trip herself because he felt bad about her running around and tiring herself out.
"Here’s the plan." Nangong Jin thought for a moment before suggesting, "Let’s go to Nanyuan, and we can have Xiaowu bring the person over."
Nanyuan was one of Nangong Jin’s private villas. While the place had everything and was fully furnished, he rarely stayed there.
After all, people who appear more carefree on the outside tend to be more attached to home.
So, most of the time, he lived over here.
After getting together with Di Jinxuan, he bought another house by the lake, intending to decorate it in a way that would suit her tastes. Because of that, Nanyuan remained unused.
But he didn’t mind. If it was unused, so be it. Like now, on occasion, it could still come in handy.
Hearing his suggestion, Di Jinxuan nodded. "Alright, let’s head there, then."
