Chapter 203: Chapter 203: It’s Over Between Him and Me!

Nicole and Langdon Seal followed along.

Valeria Johnson watched Arlo Seys’s back, and her resentment toward Ariel Morris deepened.

Hospital.

Arlo Seys asked the doctor to perform a series of tests on Ariel Morris to check for any abnormalities.

In the corridor outside the examination room, Arlo Seys sat there soaking wet, his deep eyes fixed on the door of the examination room.

Nicole handed him a set of clothes and said softly, "Brother, go and change. I had the driver from home bring it over for you."

Arlo Seys took the clothes and responded with a faint "Mm."

Arlo Seys went to Ariel Morris’s ward to change clothes, while Langdon Seal and Nicole stood at the examination room door, waiting for Ariel Morris to come out.

Nicole deliberately stood three meters away from Langdon Seal. Whenever she got near Langdon Seal, her mind and eyes would conjure up a face that resembled his, and she instinctively wanted to avoid it.

Just then, a phone rang, and Nicole saw Langdon Seal take out his phone, glance at the screen, and suddenly turn his gaze toward her.

The sudden gaze, sharp and carrying an invisible pressure, made Nicole silently lower her head, avoiding direct eye contact.

For a dozen seconds, Langdon Seal’s deep voice resonated, "Hello, Little Five, go ahead."

The mention of "Little Five" made Nicole’s body tense slightly, her fingers instinctively clenched into a fist.

Camden, who was Jose Floyd’s right-hand man, was calling Langdon Seal, so it must be about Jose Floyd.

Nicole had just finished making assumptions in her mind when she saw Langdon Seal’s gaze landing on her again, this time icy without any warmth. An ominous feeling arose in Nicole’s heart; Langdon Seal’s reaction seemed ready to devour her whole, and the connection between them was none other than his brother---Jose Floyd!

Nicole raised her head, her fingers digging deep into her palm, forcing herself to maintain a façade of calm as she returned Langdon Seal’s aggressively unrelenting stare.

Langdon Seal’s gaze coldly locked on Nicole for ten seconds before speaking to the other end, "Little Five, no matter what it costs, make sure Jose stays safe and sound!"

Langdon Seal quickly instructed, hung up with a heavy heart, and coldly stepped toward Nicole.

Nicole stood stiffly, watching Langdon Seal approach with an icy face, his expression frighteningly severe, eyes gloomy and cruel, identical to Jose Floyd when furious.

Langdon Seal closed in on Nicole, pressing her against an inescapable wall, ordering coldly, "Go back to Jose!"

Nicole slightly turned her head, avoiding Langdon Seal’s gaze, her voice faint, "We’re already over."

"Over?" Langdon Seal chuckled coldly, "If anything happens to Jose, do you think I’ll let it slide?! How ruthless can you be to stab that knife straight into Jose’s chest?! When has he ever wronged you even a little?! Why do this to him!"

"When that knife went in, Jose Floyd and I were already strangers."

Langdon Seal’s gaze pierced Nicole like a blade, shouting angrily, "Jose’s condition is rapidly worsening! The doctor said he might not make it through these days! Do you know that?! — Nicole, what deep-seated hatred do you have towards Jose that makes you want his life so badly?!"

Nicole laughed lightly, and as she laughed, her eyes reddened unwittingly, her voice sorrowful and hoarse, "Doesn’t he owe a debt, isn’t it permissible for others to demand repayment?"

"What does he owe you?! For three years, you’ve schemed to get close to Jose, making him fall for you. When he truly had feelings for you, you turned around and stabbed him! Fine, you are truly something! So damn ruthless!"
