"It’s not someone from this industry and nor is it someone you can dare to investigate or offend if you still cherish your career". Mr Rogers answered and hanged up immediately leaving Damon and Dylan bewildered.
"Then I’m really curious on who’s so high and mighty that I dare not offend but we’ll see". Dylan complained as he grabbed his phone and posted online.
"Being replaced for no reason is totally something else, I still can’t figure out the reason for it".
"Although I have always known of this industry’s unspoken rules, I am still extremely disappointed and I hope and wish for everyone to be treated fairly and just and also for we artiste to stand by each other’s side and bit stabbing each other at the back."
Seconds after he posted on his social media, his fans went furious and immediately asked who bully him, since he was popular his post went viral in a moment.
And not long after, a fan posted up his schedule for the day, which showed that he was supposed to be at the resort filming a commercial.
Did that mean his role as male lead was stolen?
His fans all started speculating and some even rang up Leila and Starlight entertainment trying to get some insider information from them but no one answered and they were all left speculating wildly..
Dylan saw his post trending online and was thoroughly pleased by the outcome. He couldn’t wait to see how Yvette and her team and also Senoria team would be scolded at like wild dogs.
A popular young model was suddenly replaced, the news alone caused quite an uproar after Dylan himself reported it online and in an instant, the while story blew up across every social media outlet.
According to his post , he had been replaced and it didn’t take long for fans to find out hus schedule and realized that he was supposed to be filming for Senoria commercial shoot but now he had been replaced.
His fans were immediately agitated, afterall Dylan had a godlike image in the modelling industry and he was also the idol and prince charming of most ladies, they couldn’t believe their idol was actually replaced. So they went rampant.
"This is totally intolerable"!
"Yikes. Senoria is lucky enough to have him model for them and now they suddenly replaced him , cancelling on him right on the D-Day, what do they take us for"!.
"Justice for Dylan!".
"Is he hinting that Senoria replaced him and what does he mean by his colleague stabbing him at the back, I’m lost!!".
It didn’t take long for them to find out that the female lead for the commercial shoot was Yvette and they bombarded her page with insults immediately.
This resulted in an argument between Dylan’s fans and Yvette’s fans. Dylan’s fans immediately blew up the issue and broke out in an uproar, they even began to demand answers from Senoria and Dylan’s agency, they needed to get justice for their idol.
Meanwhile, Senoria and Dylan’s agency had already negotiated on canceling their contract in private and agreed on compensation.
However, seeing that the incident has been elevated to such a level, Dylan’s agency had no choice but to step out and explain and it was only until then they the fans found out what happened during the time on set and why and how Dylan was replaced.
It was Senoria representative, Mr Logan and the director’s decision to replace Dylan but it was Yvette and her manager who recommended a replacement and upon discovering this, Dylan was upset and immediately posted about it online.
At that moment, Dylan also made a simple post on his page which resulted in a complete uproar, adding fuel to the fire.
"Yvette you bitch, I don’t think I’ve ever offended you, I haven’t even met you one on one . You know what, fvck off".
Upon the release of this post, the internet was in an uproar. A famous male model was tearing apart a famous female actress.
At this moment, Leila was just parking her car in the garage when she saw the news and she almost lost it then she phoned Yvette but it was Zeke who answered as Yvette was in the bathroom, then she reported to him about what was happening online.
"I’m really worried, we’re just on our own with no one by our side. The agency has casted us aside even though a new president has been chosen, it’s just like going to the battlefield all alone".
"You go home and rest, I’ll handle everything myself". Zeke replied firmly, tightly clenching his hands as he answered, trying to control his rage at the news and insults online.
"Are you sure, I mean Silverscreen Horizons might take this moment to hit us when we’re down as the current president is of no different to the previous scumbag". Leila ran her hands through her hair. "I’m just worried".
"It’s okay, I’ll handle everything". Zeke replied assuringly and Leila sighed in relief.
"I guess Dylan is making a fuss online". Yvette smiled as she emerged from the bathroom to see the grim expression on Zeke’s face just as he ended the call.
"Hmm . . Yes". Zeke replied. "I’ll take care of them".
Yvette sighed and sat beside him on the bed, pulling him into her embrace.
"There’s no need to lest it affects you, it’s just some insults anyway, I’m unfazed, it’s not the first and won’t also be the last anyways". Yvette shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly.
"I’m just worried about you, I mean I shouldn’t have let you accompany me . . ."
"Shh". Zeke chuckled as she placed his finger on her lips. "You’re worried about me and not about yourself, I mean this could escalate further".
"It always does. Right?". Yvette shrugged. "But it’s just like always, patience pays. Sooner or later, the truth will reveal itself".
"You’re right". Zeke pecked her lips. "But worry less and let me handle this. I’ll say I was kind of expecting this to happen so I’ve got back up, but for now let him just have the upper hand. The higher he goes, the easiest it is to bring him down".
Even till the next day, the replacement incident continued to escalate and was currently the top trending on every media outlets.
Meanwhile, Dylan didn’t target Senoria , nor did he pick on the famed director and representative but instead he focused all his energy on Yvette.
He assumed she had no backing whatsoever, even her agency wasn’t on her side afterall so he wanted to get back at her for both the old and new grudges.
The fanatic bunch of fans even went ahead on tagging Senoria, Yvette, Leila and even Silverscreen Horizons Entertainment, demanding for apology and justice .
The issue got so bothersome that Ms Maria, the newly elected president and acting CEO of Silverscreen Horizons Entertainment phoned Yvette immediately.
"Hello, this is Yvette speaking on the line". Yvette answered at the third ring cause she didn’t know who owned the contact.
"That’s great. This is Ms Maria, the newly elected president and acting CEO of Silverscreen Horizons Entertainment".
"Yeah and how may I be of help". She nodded , curious on what the call was about.
"It’s related to the currently trending issue online including you and Dylan . ."
"And?".
"I would like for you to apologize and get everything done with for once and for all". Ms Maria went straight to the point.
"I beg your pardon". Yvette was stunned, though she wasn’t expecting anything better, she wasn’t expecting this either.
"You heared me right. Apologize and get everything done with for once and for all, you’re implicating everyone for goodness sake, the company’s name is in the soil again all because of you and it’s giving me an headache".
"I’ll give you this one chance. You’re productive and talented, just apologize and I’ll give you a chance to start all again at Silverscreen Horizons Entertainment here, I’ll make you rise to the top again". Ms Maria concluded.
"Really?". Yvette scoffed.
"Yeah, this is a one in a million chance and it’ll be great if you really accept it".
"And if I don’t?".
"You can’t blame the company for leaving you out there on your own then. There are a lot of talents here and we can’t let them all suffer all because of your mistake".
"Wow, this is really eye-opening". Yvette chuckled.
""So you can think about it and give me a reply before 1 PM". Maria smiled at the other end triumphantly.
"There’s no need to think about anything" . Yvette said.
"Great, I know you’ll make the right choice. Afterall, who doesn’t wants to be a star, top star as at that". Ms Maria chuckled.
"Nope. I reject your suggestion. Apologizing is just like admitting I’m wrong whereas I’m not . You and the company can go to hell for all I care , my contract with the company in ending in a few days anyways". Yvette replied with a tone of finality stunning Maria.
