"So, it all began a long time ago when we all went to country P to study. I met this girl and it was love at first sight, she was also in my department , we were both studying medicine and surgery but she was so meek, always easygoing or what you would call a nerd . . "

"So , I really wanted to confess my feelings to her but I was worried it would disturb her studies and all so planned to confess on our convocation then but halfway through, she started skipping classes. "

"I thought it was off and that something was wrong with her but I didn’t know how to ask for fear of intruding her privacy then soon , it was our convocation and that was when I found out that she was already married". Angelo sighed as he paused for a while.

"Married?". Everyone echoed in confusion and anticipation. "How come".

"Turns out she was wedded all those times she wasn’t available, it was an arranged marriage actually so there was nothing else I could do than mop about it for a long while . ."

"You still do". Eriq added and Angelo glared at him .

"Then you didn’t get to confess?". Odiette and Yvette chorused quizzically.

"I did, of course. Yunno, I just wanted her to know of my feelings back then so I wrote to her . .."

"Coward". Knox laughed interrupting him kid sentence.

"Aish, let him just complete the damn story and stop interrupting". Olivia pinched Knox playfully.

"So, what happened next ?". Leila asked .

"She told me she was married of course. I even told her I was willing to wait because at a point , it was obvious she didn’t have a happy marriage but she was adamant about continuing her relationship and she didn’t want me to keep having hopes so she cut me off and now we’re no more than strangers". Angelo concluded and stop fiddling with his fingers as he reached for a wine of beer.

"Then why aren’t you coming home. You’re already doñe with your works in Country P, right?. You still staying there definitely has something to do with her ". Yvette asked . "Am I right?".

"Well, that’s another whole question on it’s own . I’m afraid you’ll have to wait until I’m unlucky again". Angelo chuckled .

"Okay, so shall we continue the game ?". Leila asked and Angelo spinned the bottle and this time it landed directly upon Yvette.

"So, my dear sister". Angelo grinned mischeviously, glaring sideways at the relaxed and quiet Zeke and Yvette immediately knew he was up to nothing good.

"What are you dawdling for. The most I can do if I can’t answer is to pass , just ask already?". Yvette frowned.

"Okay, I’ll be straight forward". Angelo laughed. "So , who do you think has the most handsome and sexy abs on set ?".

He completed his words confidently with a smirk, immediately gannering a lot of different reaction from everyone present.

Yvette who was gently sipping on her juice spat it out immediately, almost choking herself and coughing erratically while the relaxed Zeke immediately sat up straight and the others were stunned silly.

Yvette took some time to catch her breath again before answering and before she could even utter a single sentence, Zeke reached out for the bottle of beer and poured himself a glass , chugging it down in a go before adding.

"She pass, so I take the drink for her. It’s allowed , right?". Zeke’s asked and everyone laughed.

"Umm, I could have answered by myself yunno . It’s nothing because on set I am not that close to anyone, not even sharing a hug more or less not to talk of noticing the abs ". Yvette answered and they all laughed.

"Too bad". Eriq chuckled. "Because someone has already taken a shot himself". He concluded and everyone burst into another round of laughter.

Angelo clapped his hands merrily and spined the bottle again and again this time it landed directly upon Yvette, again.

"How unlucky am i tonight exactly?". Yvette gazed heavenward with her hands outstretched in the air as though she was a pitiful kid.

"So , you know your husband the best. Right?". Angelo asked and Yvette nodded positively. "So, how long do you think Zeke here has been in love with you?".

"Ten years?". Yvette replied quizzically. She knew Zeke had been in love with her for a long time already, she just wasnt sure how long exactly. Even now, she was curious as st gow long he’d been in love with her.

"I recall, we were fifteen when we went to Country P and Zeke here was already smitten , overhead in love with you and the guy is already twenty eight now so your answer of ten years is definitely wrong". Angelo explained and Yvette sighed.

"I’ll take the drink for her ". Zeke said and reached forward to grab the glass of beer before Yvette could, chugging it instantly.

"You can’t take too much of it , okay". Yvette grabbed the bottle of beer and checked the alcohol percent. "Seventy percent is high enough".

Angelo laughed and grabbed a glass of beer before him before saying to her. "Seventy percent is nothing, okay. He’s a man, don’t be overly worried". He chuckled as he chugged the beer. "You look like a mother hen right now".

"Hey, you can’t take too much of it , okay". Eriq said turning to Angelo as he grabbed the glass away from him, placing it on the table. Seventy percent is high enough.

Eriq added and they all burst out laughing.

"Okay, dear". Angelo smiled imitating Yvette and Zeke.

"If you two continue like this, you’ll definitely be single for life". Zeke laughed. "Just put some of these of you’re actions into use and , viola , you’re a taken man no longer single but I guess otherwise".

"Please, spare us the lecture already". The duo chuckled. "We don’t want to be welcomed into the association of finished mens like you".

Angelo continued the game and spined the bottle and it landed upon Leila.

"So , soulmate. What’s your greatest wish ever ?". Angelo asked.

"Well, the happiness of my family and I and also that of my friends and also the fulfilment of our goals". Leila replied and Angelo spinned the bottle again and this time it landed directly upon Zeke.

"How did you discover you were in love back then ?". Angelo asked and laughed. "What’s with the look, aren’t we exposing each other’s dark secrets".

"I choose to pass". Zeke replied and reached for a glass of beer under everyone’s expectant and anticipated gaze before chugging it down.

"Hey, you can’t do that all the time". Angelo frowned quizzically.

"What happened to my freedom of choice and speech?". Zeke replied curtly, shutting up Eriq who was about to intervene.

Angelo spinned the bottle and it again landed on Zeke.

"Tell us your love story". Angelo requested and everyone cheers happily.

"Well, can I pass or skip again". Zeke asked cautiously.

"No" everyone echoed and he was caught in a difficult spot. It seems like he had no other choice but to answer them .

"The wine is too strong, don’t worry my sister. Will you?". Angelo sneered.

"Besides, it’s the game rule. You can’t skip or pass for more than three times".

"Okay". Zeke raised up his hands in surrender. " You all know the bits and pieces so I won’t dwell excessively".

"Okay, just go on". Leila cheered and he started.

"Well, it kinda begin like when I was thirteen or somewhere around then but she was already taken by Manuel I guess and I had a kind of special condition at that time so I had a low self esteem and besides I didn’t want to ruin their relationship and be the third wheel so I kept it in and plus my stepmother never really gave me the chance. I was always locked up the whole time were were living together because she was afraid I’ll steal their attention away from Manuel but that had never crossed my mind , bit even in the least. I just wanted to be like other kids, making friends, playing outside and not always being locked inside, bit being a victim of circumstances and being pitied ".

Zeke took a deep breath and continued. " At a point, I ran away to uncle James who took me in like his and also sent me abroad to study and that was when I met the guys and we all became friends. Years later, they all planned to drug me to get me a woman or whatsoever it was that they were thinking in their head and when I got in and saw the situation, I stepped out and collided onto Yvette".

"That was because you couldn’t move on from her even after several years already". Knox laughed.

"So I guess that was where everything began then, the marriage certificate she and Manuel was supposed to sign". Odiette completed and Zeke chuckled.

"Yup. The next day I peiced up all what had happened and realized Manuel was merely using her so I came to the wedding and that was how we got to this current point and I consider myself really lucky".
