Livestream: Unlimited Experience!-Chapter 56: Not A Fan, A Friend
Valery threw multiple questions while pointing to herself.
Jay suddenly stopped walking, prompting Valery to stop as well.
Valery looked at him with a questioning face as if to ask why he suddenly stopped.
However, Jay didn’t answer that and just wore a serious face while looking at her.
Opening his mouth, Jay suddenly said,
"I actually didn’t see you as a fan, Val."
Valery frowned and stared at Jay.
"What are you saying now?"
"I just want to tell you that I can’t really see you as a fan. For me, you’re a friend."
Gathering his thoughts, Jay suddenly smiled and continued,
"From the beginning, you were always hanging around my live stream room. If for you I was a companion during your sorrowful days, for me you’re a companion who motivates me to stay streaming."
Thinking back to those days roughly more than a month ago, Jay chuckled.
"Honestly, if you didn’t keep on staying, the streamer in front of you probably won’t come into being."
"I’m probably still near the school working multiple part-time jobs."
After saying that, Jay looked directly into Valery’s eyes.
"I genuinely want to thank you for staying with me during those days, Val."
The moment went still between the two of them as they stared at each other. A warm atmosphere seems to be building up between the two of them as they remain silent.
However, that didn’t last long.
Valery suddenly shivered and hurriedly rubbed her hands together to warm herself up.
"Aish, I really can’t endure it anymore, it’s so cold!"
"Ah! Wait, wait, I almost forgot."
Jay hurriedly took out something from the paper bag and handed it to Valery.
What he pulled out was a jacket that he picked for Valery.
It was black in color and looked very chic. No matter who wears it, it’ll look good.
Since they are outside and it’s cold because it’s windy, a jacket should have a better warming and shielding effect.
Valery looked at it and didn’t hesitate much before grabbing it.
She immediately wore it and soon felt the warmth that it brought her.
"Ahh~ finally, it’s much better."
She muttered with relief on her face. Her body visibly relaxed after wearing the warm jacket.
Turning to Jay, she said, "Thanks for the jacket, Jay. I’ll give it back later."
However, Jay shook his head,
"No, you don’t have to give it back. I bought that one for you. Also, this one is yours as well."
Jay pointed at the dark green plain hoodie that is inside the paper bag.
"Eh? Did you buy this and that for me?"
Valery expressed her incredulity and surprise with her facial expression and voice.
Feeling comical, Jay couldn’t resist himself and started chuckling.
However, he didn’t forget to answer Valery.
"Yeah, I noticed earlier that you’re feeling cold so I wanted to buy you a jacket at the clothing store."
"Since I wasn’t sure which one you prefer, I just bought a jacket and a hoodie."
Valery stared at Jay for a moment before saying,
"You’re really considerate, Jay."
"Anyway, since you bought it for me, I’ll gladly accept it. Since that’s the case, I want to buy something for you in return."
"So, how about we go out tomorrow and do some shopping?"
Suggesting with a smile, Valery looked at Jay and waited for a response.
However, her suggestion was doomed to fail.
Jay shook his head and said,
"I don’t think that’ll be possible."
"I told you I have to leave and go back to school, right? I’m actually planning to go tomorrow."
Immediately, a look of disappointment was painted all over Valery’s face.
"Oh, so that’s it..."
However, she just brushed it off and returned to calm.
"Since that’s the case, then it can’t be helped. What time are you planning to leave tomorrow?"
Jay thought a bit before answering.
"Well, since I’m not really in a rush, maybe around 10 o’clock in the morning?"
Valery nodded in understanding.
After that, Jay shifted the topic and the two of them once again started chatting about various things.
After spending some more time together, the two of them finally decided to end the night and Jay accompanied Valery until outside of Royal Hotel.
Standing outside Royal Hotel, Jay stood in front of Valery with a smile.
"We’re here. You should go inside, it’s already cold here outside."
Valery nodded,
"Yes, I will go up now. Thanks for today, Jay!"
"Thank you for spending your time with me as well."
With a smile on their lips, the two of them looked at each other as Valery walked towards the hotel.
Waving his hand at her, Jay said,
"Good night, Val."
"Good night to you too, Jay."
Jay watched Valery until she safely got inside the hotel before he turned around and left.
Casually stopping a taxi on the side of the road, Jay got in and headed back home.
While the taxi is moving, Jay turned his gaze outside and thought,
’I forgot to ask her if she wants to visit my house. Mom would have been delighted to know her.’
With such thoughts in his mind, the taxi navigated on the busy road without a stop.
...
Royal Hotel.
Valery’s Deluxe Room.
The door to the room opened and Valery entered, turning on the lights.
"Ah~, I’m back."
Throwing herself on the sofa, Valery laid down and stared at the ceiling.
The next second, a smile crept up her face and she started happily giggling.
"Hihihi, that was fun. Going out on a picnic was actually really fun, huh."
"Well, it was mostly because I was with Jay and the conversation never felt boring when he’s the one I’m talking with."
Saying that, Valery can’t help but recall everything that happened in the afternoon.
Suddenly, the memory of Jay grabbing her hand flashed in her mind.
Raising her hand, Valery stared at it for a while before she smiled.
"Jay grabbed my hand, huh..."
Saying that, she sighed, "It would’ve been a lot better if I wasn’t startled there."
